Fair play... It's not like I'm bothered just thought I'd mention the fact that I've noticed a huge decrease in posts being made from people regarding this series... Anyhow I'm just happy I'm on pole at the moment haha

I'm still around. I've been getting things ready to move for the last 2 weeks. Moved in on the 1st.
I sold my PS3 to put money towards moving. I have my PS4 and I'm waiting for Asseto Corsa and GT Sport. I will join up with any series that Stephen puts out when GT Sport releases. I lost all interest in GT6 because of the way the game is now. I have a Thrustmaster T300 wheel now. The force feedback on this wheel in Project Cars is what I've been wanting from GT6. It makes me feel like I'm driving my Mini Cooper S in sport mode. GT6's force feedback and a lot of other things with the game made me not want to play it anymore.
I really miss all of you and I will be racing with you all again as soon as you all switch to the PS4 and the newer racing games. :)

Sorry to double post, the above incident I'm not looking/hoping for any penalties or action, just wanted the stewards to be aware 👍 we had been battling for a while and I finally got passed I would say fairly, only to have several laps of hard driving invalidated by John outbreaking himself into me, doh!

Otherwise a great race, interesting to see who chose 1 or 2 stops and overall it turned out pretty equal!
 
Hectic race yesterday, had these pit stops maybe be crucial to my final result. I am happy I finished that high, into my expectations.

@DeltaJuliet : Colossos was very close with you so you were moving onwards and backwards. I became dizzy after that, and since Motegi is my weak track and I had my tyres wore a lot because of corner exits.

I realised my fault, I waited for you but you span out the corner afterwards. I then said it was made by "accident". Deeply sorry but we had a good battle, in which you hit my rear twice (before the incident), where I nearly span out.

Nevermind, it is life and we are humans, we make mistakes.

Also I remember Danny_2JZ bumping my rear so hard on the first laps, on turn 1 braking.

Great start with the DC thanks again all for waiting !
Got home with 10mins to spare straight to the start line then had a freind pass by so had chat till lap 8 ish then had to play catch up , pushing i had couple of spins and fell further back then had to take it easy as tyres were going off ,had to try 1 stop as greven had off and fell back ,i see him pit for two stop so i stayed out !
after my stop i came out in front of logic and did try to pull away but he was pushing , so i had to let him go under blue flag , this was the best option as i had longer to go no my tyres with 45 to go i was able to put my head in the race and started to do some good laps at one point i thought i was gonna get the fast lap but missed by 1tenth :( (dan#1) kept it together till almost the end when i lost it ,and then run out of fuel :( better luck next time I hope !

That's true about me bumping is car hard, I think it was lack of concentration I'm not sure, but I'm sorry about that John I seen you managed to keep it in control though.

I barely kept the car under control but I did not touch gravel, thank god. :eek:

Logics Motegi story


I really had illusions of winning at Montegi at around the 30 min mark.
I had reasonable pace and had many practice races and knew i could keep my tyres in good shape by being gentle with full fuel.
Just before the start i added some down force just to ensure a little more grip for safety.
The start was fine from 3rd and i did get in a mess at turn 1 behind Daniel, and lost a couple of places but was fine keeping the leaders just a few seconds gap ahead.
The race or the 1st 30 minutes was great, 5 cars pretty much nose to tail, i did have some pressure from behind from Crazy John, but i would have been happy to let him by me as we were the same pace, so i just waited for mistakes from the guys in front.
At around 26 minutes Crazy John passed me and i decided then that even though tyres were still ok on 8, i would be better in clean air and less chance of a mistake with fresh rubber.
So i pitted and added 24 litres and off i went.
I quickly made my way back up from 8th to 5th, and although up to 40 minutes i was keeping the same pace as the front runners on a 1 stop, i guessed they would slow as their tyres started to wear further.
After that i started closing them down at around 2 seconds a lap and when they pitted i was ahead by only a few seconds.
I strayed ahead and was in good shape with a clear track and not really any proper mistakes.
I would have liked to have made ground on Daniel in second place after he made his stop, but he was pushing hard, and i guessed his tyres would suffer come the end of the race.
I pitted just after 62 minutes and came out in 5th about 25 seconds behind the lead, but quickly moved up to Niss who was in 3rd place around 17 seconds behind Daniel and Mirial, but there my advancement stopped.
Niss, who is close at the top of the championship really didnt want me to get past, rightly so and just made his car so hard to pass, all fair i might add but very frustrating, as i had over 1 second a lap faster on fresh tyres, but just could not find a way past, and fair play to Niss, he did what he needed to do to keep me behind him for long enough, and the gap to the leader then drifted up to 29 seconds with around 12 minutes to go.
Eventually i did get past and really knew i could only ever hope to catch Mirial if all went well, unless any of them had miscalculated fuel and had to stop again.
As it turned out, my calculations for fuel looked wrong, and then i remembered i added downforce at the start and could see that i would be a lap or more short on fuel.
So in i came in the last few minutes for a splash and dash, also noticed that Daniel and Murial had to do the same.
Daniel was of and didnt loose his lead but i dropped to 7th.
It was a great great race, i really enjoyed it a huge amount, and well done to Daniel, a great drive with great pace, and Niss worked his plan very well.
Coll came up from nowhere and i was amazed to see he finished 3rd.

I was sad to see our Pole sitter DannyB_2jz crash out, he worked so hard to get the pace he had.
Also poor DannyB013 just could seem to stay in and dced twice at the start.
Gueven also sadly had issues and a black screen mid race, no idea about that.

But a great race.

Stephen would you have any new ideas for the next series that you would like to share with us? If you've been thinking about it? I'll try and get better place next series :)

It will be very similar to the series we run now, if not exaclty the same.

It will also be run from the week after this weries ends until the week GTSport comes out.

Thats the plan anyway.

By better place I mean no quitting mid races and just trying to do my very best at all times even if I might be in last place or near the bottom haha :)
 
best possible scenario , would be a gokart 125 shifter series , skid recovery on and tuning allowed = loads off fun , but sadly many ppl are so affraid off the karts , I dont think it would be hard too get drivers for it though 💡
