2016 Volvo S90 & V90: Previewed through... a scale model?

If you could get even a modicum of the quality and refinement of the S/XC90 at the $30k or so a S/V40 would start at, that'd be a hell of an entry-level luxury car.

I feel like that's gonna look amazing. I've got a big soft spot for wagons, and Volvo's recent design language has been amazing.

Also, unrelated: I feel like everyone who's dinged a car in a parking lot should be forced the use that kind of padding for at least a year.

It's called moose armor.

Polestar models have been confirmed for the S90 and V90. It is likely that they will include a 600 horsepower engine, competing with BMW's M cars. The diesel variant of the Polestar has also been revealed, and it will have slightly less power than the regular Polestar S90/V90s.

Here are some pics of the diesel Polestar S90/V90s:

Those rims are huge! They're barely any tire wall left!

Just wait until you see the car in the flesh. It's literally just a lower version of the XC90.
It is a ship on wheels.

If they apply this design on the V60, it'll be the best looking sedan since the previous Lexus IS generation in my opinion.
While the V90 looks spectacular, it's just too big. Size that down, and you've got a stunner!

I got in this car at the Miami Auto show. Frankly, I was disappointed. The drivers seat was battered to hell from all the show traffic. It looked like a worn out business class chair off a lockheed tristar. The screen is a novel idea but it's kind of a pain in the ass to go through all the menus for everything. You can't beat knobs and buttons.

Motor shows giving you the 10 year old 200k mile interior experince like no one else.

This was the worst one of the whole show. It looked like a show mule that's been through hundreds of days of ingress/egress. The white leather even had blue stains from people's jeans.
