Love me some X-Bow space ships
Like these cars in the background?

However do you compare these to space ships? :D

Yea but still a stretch. The only resemble is maybe in the side profile and the front bumper style. Otherwise it's a whole other beast. I'd love a street version of the race car

2 minutes into FP2 and Shea Adam interviewed Ricky Taylor who starting whining about the Mazda BOP.:odd: Those poor Corvette DP guys, they keep slowing down their competitors and they are still behind.

and 1 min after this post WTR goes P1.:D

It was good to hear @Kamuifanboy on Imsa radio with John and Jeremy.

This all for 2018.

But what about the GT4 cars being allowed into GS now? That's gotta bring some cars like the Ginetta right?
Yea until GM makes a GT4 car and doesn't sell it. Then we have 6 GT4 cars in GS that cost just as much money as the ones we do now. :(

Really glad PC is gone now. GTD and even P will benefit in car counts. Cautions will go down too.

Just know this isn't gonna stop someone in their Ferrari from 🤬 up things. If anything, IMSA just removed 1 element.

Also, the likes of Krohn and Kogey is still driving so you still aren't safe.

Well there are only 2 Ferrari's in the regular season, and 4 in the NAEC. Compared the 12 PC's in every flipping event. :P Also, Krohn is only in the ELMS/WEC at the moment, no word on them coming back.

Not counting on it and honestly, not surprised. Even though its more, the attendance of these races just haven't been all that spectacular. Hell, I'm not even sure the preposed 24 Hour event will be any better.

Best part of getting rid of PC is another GT only race at Lime Rock! As for the Prototype class, nobody wants to run the new P2s anyways so why not bring the GTLM's up to old GT1 levels and run that as the top class instead? Would be way more awesome to watch, and the OEMs would actually be interested since they look like real cars.

What inside information do you have that Mazda and Cadillac have cancelled their DPi programs and Starworks has cancelled their order for new Rileys?

No one but Cadillac and Mazda anyways...
Woooow! 4 whole cars!
There will be a minimum of 5 factory DPi's with 2 Mazda's and 3 Caddys + whatever Visit Florida does with either another Caddy or a customer Mazda. Add to that HPD/Ligier from Shank and the unknown direction that Panoz will go and you can be sure there will be way more than "4 whole cars!" on the grid at Daytona 2017.

I don't. I do have quotes from Ford and BMW that state they have no interest in DPi, and since you've handily listed all the makes interested I think the big picture is clear to see. 2 Manufacturers is 2 less than we have currently (No Honda or Deltawing), and we're likely to have less cars overall next season as well. Less diversity and less numbers is hardly a successful formula.
