I think there's something more going on behind the scenes as it just doesn't add up.

- Currently Porsche's occupy 2nd and 3rd spots in the teams championship, one of them is an AJR car.

- The #23 will continue racing

- Leh Keen was released earlier this year due to unknown reasons and the rumor was Cooper was difficult to work with.

There really isn't much actual info on the specifics of their gripe, but I'm not buying the BoP reasoning. I guess we'll see what happens if MacNeil jumps to PWC, but I can tell you it won't be any easier since the talent level at the top is better than GTD.

They'll be in the back in PWC, GT-Am most definitely. Wonder if this will have any effect on the title sponsorship. (since the company family ties and what not)

I'd find it quite ironic if Leh goes to PWC as well and winds up handing Cooper his ass over and over. I have a feeling that he (Leh, not Cooper) won't be a free agent for long since he's shown good control for a while- especially in the Nurburgring rain dance video.

So the Deltawing has finished 7th in the past 3 races. It always finishes behind all the cars in it's class, unless a couple have mechanical issues. During each race, it struggles to keep pace, usually being behind by a second or 2. My question, why have they not received a BOP boost or something?

Did you watch Daytona? That thing was way to fast,

Until...well...

*crunch*
Yeah I saw Daytona. That's what tells me that the car is capable of finishing better than it does especially at the more high speed tracks like, Watkins Glen, Mosport, and Road America. But in both of these races it struggled. It's preformed well at Road America in the past, but this time, even without the braking issues they had 5 laps in, it still didn't have the pace.

Its down to the drivers capabilities, and probably waiting to play the BoP card at cota,

I think it gets the short end of the stick the most because it has to use the same tire all the other guys used. It had Bridgestone I believe make special tires for it before.

Legge and Rayhall are really quick drivers

if things go right, which they never do for the DW squad, they should have a good race at Road Atlanta. COTA I'm not so sure...

I uploaded the rest of the pictures from Road America to flickr. They can be seen at

Is it possible to get the #56 Porsche shot #138 from you? I really like that shot.
I would keep for personal use only.

What's it like to move around that track? Lime Rock is easy, Watkins Glen is a lot bigger so it takes a while to get around it. We end up driving to some spots around the infield.

Magnus at it again.

Can't download? Or do you want the original jpg or raw file?

Some of those photos are interesting since I didn't switch out the lens, and shot with the 55-210mm lens. For some reason there is a good amount of interest in the 2 red Lamborghini pictures. I ended up taking a few with the phone.

I was only on the grid walk for a few minutes and didn't have time to switch lenses.

It was my first time there and I didn't end up seeing the whole track. I ended up with a blister on my toe the first day, so I need some different shoes for next year. It's probably a good idea to drive around.

The pictures pretty much tell the story. I was by the straight a lot. That's where the BMWCCA was set up. It was pretty cool to see the cars coming out of the final turn, and hearing the up-shifts and barrage of exhaust noise as they came towards the bridge. The best part was coming in the middle of the Lamborghini qualifying in the morning. They were zooming by on the straight and downshifting frantically going into the pits. The noise

It was like this but amplified

Oh...yeah.... From the straight, you can go up a hill and get closer to the straight (by the bridge) or stand by the pit entrance. A little bit further down you can get to the turn 5-6 area, which is where the Porsche Cup pictures are from (bridge with the Corvette sign - pictures 391-475). 181-189 are from the top of this area. I heard you can go up past the pits and walk along turn 1 until the turn 5 area. From turn 5 you can get to the top of 6 and assume you can walk up to 7, 8 and 9.

From the straight - turn 14 area, it's probably best to drive down to turn 13, where I tried to take some LMP pictures (235-268). Then I think you can walk down some stairs to see Canada corner from the bleachers (277-311). 313-355 are down the bleachers and looking the other way.

I was there for 4 days last year and felt it was rather easy despite the size and most of the trails are along the track so you can still see the action. The only crappy part was the monster stair case.

They have a shuttle that goes from the paddock to the carousel, it makes it much easier to travel around. They also have golf cart rentals but it was something like $250 for the weekend which didn't seem worth it.

Which stair case?

I made the trip up and down the hill and through the straight bridge a few too many times.

Correct, I can not download, those choices aren't available.
I would appreciate whatever file, though, jpg would be easiest.
You can PM me if you want it private or post it here if you prefer.
Thanks
