Shame about Pogba tough, will miss the derby next Sunday. :indiff:
Pogba great too, but that red is the only sour note.
If one believed in karma, one might opine that's a fairly tame reward for wishing injury on his fellow professional footballers.

Yes he is a bit of a tit for doing that and he got hammered on Twitter about it after the sending off.

0-0 between City and West Ham so far but less than 20 minutes played, City have a couple of players who are a booking away from a suspension themselves including Leroy Sane. Bournemouth and Southampton drew 1-1 earlier.

It was 0-1 to West Ham at half time, no joke!, Man City were a bit sloppy and WHU have been great so far, Ogbonna with the goal

Sorry to spoil things but City got up to win 2-1. They are still unbeaten in this season, which is quite impressive, and history backs this up: they've won 13 on the trot, equal the Premier League record. 14 total with one draw. What a run.

Man City had to work for that one. Got to give West Ham credit, they didn't go in there and just roll over.

Next week is an early title decider for me, If City win then its 11 points clear and they will be very hard to catch on current form, if its a draw or United win then its still doable for United.

I cant do it right now as its late and I'm quite tired but either tomorrow or this week at some point I will have a rant about something, its been building up for a while.

Clearly they didn't roll over, especially because they had the lead for a while there.

Three narrow 2-1 wins for City in a row, proving that you don't have to win convincingly every time...

Man United have accepted the Pogba red card and wont appeal it, its conformed that he will get a three game ban and will miss games v City, Bournemouth and West Brom.

Okay, quick catch up seeing as I haven't posted here for a month.

For the first time since I started these threads we have a demotion; Rossi Eames has stepped down as Barnet senior manager to take charge of the youth squad. Mark McGhee has replaced him as senior manager.

@Famine Steve Davis doesn't get added to the list because Leyton Orient are in the Conference. Otherwise I'd have added Jon McCarthy (Chester), Paul Cox (Barrow), Liam McDonald (Solihull Moors) Richard Money (Solihull Moors - yes, he quit within 30 days), Mickey Moore (Barrow), Kevin Nicholson (Torquay) and Adam Lockwood (Guisley). ;)

13th November - Rossi Eames (Barnet, demoted) League Two
20th November - Tony Pulis (West Bromwich Albion, sacked) Premier League

3rd December - Leonid Slutsky (Hull City, resigned) Championship

Sacked: 12
Resigned: 2
Demoted: 1

Total: 15

Was he forcefully demoted, or did he decide to move to the youth squad?

Forced. The board decided to replace him as senior manager but wanted him to stay at the club in a different role.

I said that I would go on a rant about something this week, but the moments gone somewhat, should've done it there and then.

Basically its about Swansea, we've had such a **** season and its not easy to watch, we've scored the joint lowest goals in the league and have the fewest shots on target by some distance as well, Clement looks dejected and isn't really doing much about the situation and I don't think the club is being run very well by the American investors (I'm not the only one who thinks that.)

I think Clement will get the sack and Pulis will take over very soon, we have West Brom on Saturday in a very big game and if we don't win that then I think he'll be gone, we are going down regardless.

Cristiano Ronaldo has just won the Ballon D'or for a fifth time.

That's a bit debatable between him and Messi this year I think.

Yes. Very debatable.

Champion of Spain. Champions League. Super Copa. European Super Cup. World Cup for teams.

Messi has the Spanish cup.

Five each for Messi and Ronaldo now and its been dominated by the both of them for the last decade, last player to win it who wasn't Messi or Ronaldo was Kaka back in 2006.

Ronaldo was a big part of the team that won those prices.
No doubt, but in my opinion Messi has been a better player taking the full year into account. Ronaldo is winning it for his exceptional form in the latter stages of last season's champions league, and nothing else.

Ballon d'Or isn't a FIFA endorsed award any more.

But Cristiano Ronaldo did win the Best FIFA Men's Player award 2017 (a stupid name and formerly known as the FIFA World Player Of The Year award).

"Mens" player of the year. Ugh.

That just makes it sound like he's good at a computer game.

Games this weekend, there are some interesting games on Saturday but really its all about Sunday.

Saturday
Burnley v Watford
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth
Huddersfield v Brighton
Newcastle v Leicester (5.30 BT)
Tottenham v Stoke
Swansea v West Brom
West Ham v Chelsea (12.30 Sky)

Sunday
Southampton v Arsenal (12pm BT)
Liverpool v Everton (2.15 Sky)
Man United v Man City (4.30 Sky)

Video referees will be used in certain FA Cup games this season, Brighton vs Palace to start with, and also the league cup semis.

There's another bunch of PL games in midweek next week with BT getting two TV games and tomorrows games might be affected by the weather, been snowing heavily at times here in Wrexham today.

Belgium's Red Devils have never been better than their current generation and bureaucracy killed off Brussels as one of the cities at the Euros 2020.

A lot of political bitching and moaning prevented that the stadium was build in time.
