Munich vs Madrid tomorrow will likely be a very cagey affair, nowhere near as open, easy and full of goals as this.

Salah one each away from a hattrick or both Goals and Assists.

This is very very poor from Roma. I don't think they've watched Liverpool this season with the tactics they've used. Might be a case of"this worked against Barca it will work in every game". Barcelona's attack isn't nearly as fast as Liverpools at the moment, a high line against this three is suicide and that's been proven tonight.

Dzeko gets Roma a seemingly consolation goal, but who knows how that away goal will help in the second leg

Erm

This seems to be the Liverpool from 3 months ago. Collapsing in the last 10 minutes and throwing away dominant wins...

Disappointing to concede 2 late in the game, but 3 up at half time... expect us to go through and kill Roma’s ‘nobody’s scored at thier ground in the ECL’ record in the process.

Both teams tonight.

Was an entertaining match to watch, to say the least.

Pleased that Roma got 2 away goals, that means theres actually a chance for a decent match next week too!

Liverpool were brilliant and Salah's first was a beauty, but then they let Roma in during the last 10 minutes and next Wednesday will be a nervous night for them.

Salah for Ballon d'Or ;)

He's really impressive but I don't think he will get it just yet.

This year Ronaldo has better average of goals scored per minutes played for example.

Salah: 43 goals in 50 games (3468min)
Messi: 42 goals in 52 games (3487min)
Ronaldo: 43 goals in 41 games (3085min)

I think the winner of the Ballon d'Or will be the one who gets the champions league trophy.

Agree... Liverpool win the ECL, Salah looks good for it. Madrid win the ECL, and it will go to Ronaldo.

Only other outcome is Bayern do the League/ECL double... then one of their lot could get it should they do something outstanding in the semi and/or final.

And tonight? Bayern or Real? I hope for a real good clash and a win for Bayern. Then we have at least a couple of Dutch national team players in a final.....;)

Great result for Real Madrid!

A 2-1 win with 2 away goals is a fantastic start to the semis. However, as Champions League have shown the last couple years, any lead can be dangerous. And Bayern did make it 2-1 at Bernabeu last year to make it to extratime.

I missed the match live. Is it worth to watch a replay? Was it fireworks besides the maybe surprising result? Is 1-2 a well deserved win for Real?

Many chances and quite entertaining to be honest.

Did Real deserve the win? Yes and no.

Bayern had their fair amount of big chances but in the end Real did score on theirs.

I didn't watch it but heard that Bayern got a bit unlucky with injuries, two in the first half hour or so?
