3 interesting things:

1. Aston Martin to Dunlop, wonder how this will work out.
2. Multimatic running under Ganassi's banner, as the UK division, interestingly.
3. Dempsey's team is running in Pro with the 2016 car, but what's the difference between the '15 and '16 911 RSR's?

I wonder why the Extreme Speed cars are using Nissan engines when they were Honda powered at Daytona

Disappointed by the lack of factory Porsches in GT and the small car count in GT Am. Not sure why its so small.

Thankfully we have another red, white, silver and black car.

1. Hint that the new generation "Audi R18" may be sending its ERS MJs to the rear wheels, not the front...

Somebody didnt get the memo.:P

The Imsa spec HPD is a different engine and the FIA spec car is down on power to the Nissan.

damn it. not enough variety. need only 4 chassis types...

Boo! Viper probably wont get to race :(

Completely agree. They even put up a good fight last year! They should deserve a spot based on that.

Oh boy...Corvette and Aston Martin must fight this nemesis. ·_·7

On pace it's a nemesis. Was really quick on the banks of Daytona and quite slow in the infield. So I'd say it's built for Le Mans in mind. But if it has the kind of poorly built quality as what we saw in Daytona, then it doesn't stand a chance at lasting. I mean the brakes can be hit by the wheel during a tire change and you have to spend 15 minutes to fix it. That's an awful design.

I think the Viper being left out is more about the fact that it only races at Le Mans. If Keating raced the car after Le Mans last year and at Daytona this year then maybe they get a spot.

I was thinking the same thing. Regardless, they have a reserve that definitely would be able to race.

They were contemplating on running in the WEC this year, but I think the cost put them off a little, though I agree they could have tried updating it and running it in GTLM
