Katherine Legge just crashed hard it looks like. Got to talk to the Audi team about the best way to drive the track though.

The Taylor boys have a new podcast. http://www.badfastpodcast.com/

The Acura in pieces.

What is everyone's opinion of Road America as a track? Fun to drive? Fun to watch?

I enjoy racing it in PCars but there are definitely some really tricky spots. It looks like there's good spots for overtakes and what not. What do you think?

Not entirely sure as all footage starts moments after the collision started. But basically two cars collided going side by side down the back stretch near the kink and there was massive damage to both so the track was littered with carbon fibre. Qualifying is about to start but it was scheduled to start 6 minutes ago so it probably just took awhile to clear up.

I want to watch the Continental race but I have to work 4-10. I can make an excuse for work but finding one for my parents is a bit tougher lol

I'll be shocked if the 10 and 31 are not on the front row based on who is in the cars in qualifying.

I guess they forgot to remove the sandbags from the 31.:lol:

Well WTR whooped AXR's asses in qualifying again. 10 with the pole while the 31 and 5 were 6th and 7th.

Yea was thinking that, quite a gap to rest of the Caddies, and a fair gap to the #52 in second, which did a very good job to be fair. Good to see the #5 Nissan just behind it too, will be interesting to see how tomorrow pans out.

And of course, I'm certainly very pleased with how GTLM Quali panned out :D

It means after all of his whining about BOP and switching cars he was still out qualified by his teammate's Panzer by 1.1 sec.
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Maybe he'll now realize that the car itself may not be the reason Keating's Merc has been the strongest Merc this year.

For some reason when using a VPN thing on my phone to watch the IMSA feed with RadioLeMans guys I can't connect to my chromecast and put it on the big screen. Sad.

Don't know if it's just me, but the 911 RSR's sound even more unworldly this weekend :drool:. They almost seem louder than they already are, but it may be the more echo'ey effect of racing around Road America seems to give. Probably is just me :lol:.

Maybe some of the silencing was removed? They sound much different in the WEC than they do over here for the most part. I noticed at Le Mans (stream/TV :indiff:) that this car is actually amazingly loud. :drool:
