I'd guess they're doing some track cleanup as well since the car looked like it dropped parts after it turned into the wall.

"It's not about the Rolex, it's about the free Rolex." Johnny O' Connell.
And then of course they have to leave enough time for all cars to pit. Why? Is it just here because the track is long? Why can't it be a normal caution then local yellow and green quickly, letting strategies play out. Pit if you want but you don't know how long it'll take so it might go green before you get out, that kind of thing y'know?

"[The Nurburgring 24] is the UFC of racing" - Johnny O'Connell. I never heard him talk before but now he's my favorite

There's a fun irony in the fact that the Forza car called it quits after 7 minutes.

  • Forza games don't have yellow flags, and this Lamborghini didn't get to see any (even though it did end up making one).
  • The typical online race only lasts 3 laps, or about 5-7 minutes on average.
It was inevitable, Forza can't handle day/night transitions or dynamic weather so the car was never going to last more than a couple of hours.

We will see what the stewards say, but I have always found it's not a good idea to close the door on someone when they have there nose inside your fender. What's he supposed to do, slam on his brakes and slide into you anyway?

That Turner BMW @ GTD seems to be much more competitive in its own class then the GTLM sisters, which is both excellent and depressing at the same time.

I think I've never heard of virtual safety car in Le Mans, only seen three physical ones.

I think I'm thinking of the Slow Zones, where one part of the track is under caution, but the rest of the track can still race fully.

Something is up with the #4, could be paranoia but Marchell isn't entirely happy it seems, the brakes I believe still being discussed.

That might be the case, can't really remember that either, but hey, I don't even remember what I did last week. We will see at june how it goes. I'll be mostly expecting R8 Audi's with lightbars on top.
