Not even a new record for Pep, just equals an exisiting one.
It's the first time a top 92 team has scored (at least) 7 goals in consecutive games since Leeds United in 1967.

What is Nick Pope's status with Burnley? Is he still injured?
No, he played in the FA cup last weekend but he may not replace Heaton as first choice now he's reclaimed it and done well. It's certainly a tough call to make and it could go either way. Hart looks finished at Burnley now though, if they can find someone who'll take him.
The Leeds spying stuff is pathetic too, should give them a big points deduction, as that will stop anyone else from even thinking about doing something like this in the future.
Easy for the spurs boss though. When you are second best there are things you can try. You need the dressing room to get that sorted. If you are the best team in a half you can't fix what isn't broken and your options are much more restricted without the dressing room to explain what and why.Cracking win for United, 1-0 away to Spurs. United were the better team in the first half, Spurs dominated the second half, but it was a late first half goal from Rashford that decided it.
David De Gea was exceptional, making 11 saves in the second half, though a couple of the Spurs players may be wondering how they didn't score. Some people may say we rode a bit of luck in the second half today, but like Ole said, you're allowed to have a top keeper.
I would have liked to see Ole make a change to our formation to counter Spurs formation change at half time. Spurs change upped thier performance against us, and that may be why hiring Ole instead of Poch in the summer (assuming Poch is open to it) could be the wrong move.
Poch showed real tactical nouse there and I didn't see Ole make a change that matched it. It didn't pay off for Poch thanks to a combination of some good defending, David De Gea being David De Gea like in goal and some poor finishing from Spurs players. Regardless of any that 6 wins in 6 games for Ole, his fantastic run continues and there was more excitement in that match than in the whole season under Jose.
Fair point 👍, I would have still liked to see a more positive reaction from United in the second half. Perhaps that is more to do with the strength in depth of the squad available than Ole though. It is ironic that a team that Mourinho helped to build just couldn't play under his management style. The turnaround since he left, however, is quite remarkable - albeit a team of that calibre should have been performing better to begin with. But I wonder how much the turnaround is down to having a manager with a far better appreciation for the way that Man United are 'supposed' to play... arguably Solskjaer, despite his relative inexperience as a manager, has that particular ace card in trumps, and hence if they continue to churn out old-fashioned gritty wins like this, it will be very hard to justify bringing in someone else as manager at the end of the season. I'm certainly no expert on Man United, but when I saw the headlines about Gareth Southgate being in the frame I nearly spat out my wine (although it was £3-a-bottle Lidl wine, so that would not have been a bad thing).Perhaps that is more to do with the strength in depth of the squad available than Ole though.
I remember months ago people arguing that the players just weren't good enough and the squad was merely average. The players who were all record-breaking - or close to it - transfers and winners of multiple domestic and continental (and international) trophies and individual awards, weren't good enough to get Mourinho any higher than van Gaal, even after he signed the league equivalent of player of the year from Italy, France, Germany and Spain... in the same season. It is ironic that a team that Mourinho helped to build just couldn't play under his management style.
Watching United play almost every game this season it's obvious the tactics have changed. We're playing much higher up the pitch now and using the width from the full backs a lot more effectively, but I do wonder how much of an effect the feel good factor is having and if that wanes will the performances keep up.It is ironic that a team that Mourinho helped to build just couldn't play under his management style. As they're after a new manager, a certain Jose is availalbe
They're very thin in midfield as well with Sissoko picking up an injury at the weekend. They already have Dier and Wanyama out and apparently Dembele is going to china. I wouldn't bet against them dropping a few points in the coming weeks.Harry Kane out until early March with ankle ligament injury, Son is off to the Asia games for South Korea for a few weeks as well.
Big blow for Tottenham.
