Looks like Onroak have found quite a bit of performance over the winter with the changes they've been allowed to make, bodes well for Le Mans which was dominated by Oreca last year.

E- New year but same RLM ignoring what is being shown on the screens, Rooftop Ray is doing a great job as usual đź‘Ť

Just guessing here but isn't the right rear tyie usually the first one to wear out? At least in the Gran Turismo's?
Depends on the ratio of left to right turns on the track, and the engine/drivetrain layout of the car. Daytona Roadcourse has 2 hard acceleration points coming out of right hand turns and 2 out of left, and with the Caddies being rear wheel drive, the rears would be worn more than the fronts, but with the oval putting such stress on the right side tires, it would be in this case that the right rear tire would wear faster.
The thing is is that the other Cadillacs haven't had this many failures so it most likely has something to do with the setup.

Maybe something is rubbing the tire unseen from the outside while the suspension compresses thus leading to those blowouts. :confused:đź’ˇ
Also possible, but you'd think after, what has it been? 4 flats? That they would have figured something like that out and fixed it? Very strange situation.

The #10 is confirmed as a retirement now.

Also the right hand bends are pretty much all slow hairpins, that won't put as much load on the left side tyres.

Weird indeed.

Also, to any admin who might be passing by, how about adding a pondering/thinking smiley on the smiley selection. Could use one every once in a while.

This has got to be a race to forget for the Joest organization.
I can't see that changing all season, it's all well and good getting a great team like Joest to run the cars but if the cars are rubbish they will spend more time on fire than winning.

The Mazda's have been burning the rear bodywork all race, looks like the fire was coming from the same area

Wayne Taylor said that he pulled the plug on this year's race because he doesn't want to put his drivers at risk from a puncture at high speed since they are having a problem with recurring punctures. He also said that the team is within the recommended parameters that Continental set.

Katherine Legge get's pushed off track by one of the prototypes, goes flying thru a Continental sign, slides thru the grass, and when she get's back on track, runs laptimes equal to the GTD leaders.

Looks like the Fords dumped their sandbags on the curb.
They have been running 44:00 to 44:50, pretty much what they ran all weekend isn't it? They have just been able to do it all race long which nobody else has been able to do. Maybe if we get enough FCY's somebody else may be able to catch up :sly:
