It was 0-0 in regular time, Poch did name a few youngsters in team and Kane wasn't in the squad, but at one point they had Son, Alli, Eriksen and Moura all on the pitch at the same time and they didn't score against a league one team.

Not a good night for Spurs!

AFC Wimbledon manager Wally Downes has been suspended by the club after being charged by the FA for allegedly breaching betting regulations, he is said to have placed eight bets between November 2013 and July 2019.

Derby players Mason Bennet and Tom Lawrence have been charged with drink-driving following a collision in Derby last night.

According to reports, Manchester United admits they are rebuilding. Man-U was probably the first Premier League team I've really followed. I am pretty sure Man U. is probably sick of not being the top club in the city of Manchester and seeing Manchester City get all the praise and getting all the wins. My geography is poor of Premier League teams, so I'm not sure of any other teams in or around Manchester.

Any other players or teams surprise you so far this Premier League season?

Man United just scraped past league one Rochdale in the cup tonight 5-3 om penalties after a 1-1 in 90 minutes, Greenwood got United's goal whilst 16-year old Luke Matheson equalised for the visitors, both Sheffield United and Bournemouth were knocked out by lower league opposition in Burton and Sunderland and West Ham were thumped 4-0 by Oxford, Liverpool had a routine 0-2 win over MK Dons and Chelsea hammered Grimsby 7-1.

Carabao Cup Fourth Round Draw.

Everton v Watford
Aston Villa v Wolves
Man City v Southampton
Burton v Leicester
Crawley v Colchester
Chelsea v Man United
Oxford v Sunderland
Liverpool v Arsenal

Struggle to beat Rochdale at home and get rewarded with a trip to Stamford bridge.

West Ham and Man U are rumored to be in for Mandzukic in January. He was left out of Juve's Champions League roster at the start of the season and has not featured for the team since last season.

How did they think that would ever work?!

I mean, the transformation of a football club into a "brand" that is nothing more than a business outlet is sickly enough but I bet that with the commercialisation, trademarkification and financialisation of football, some clubs like Liverpool, Reading and Watford that are only the name of their town without an indicative suffix are ruing their choice of name; can't IP that and there'd be uproar if you changed the name of the club this far into its history.

You can't IP Manchester but you can IP Manchester United. And many Man United fans have said to me, the club's slippery slope began when they changed the badge in 1998:

Barcelona have been fined £265 after being found guilty of tapping up Antione Griezmann whilst he was a Atletico Madrid player....I haven't missed out a zero there, that's the actual amount!

Derby's Richard Keogh is out for the season with a knee injury he sustained as a result of an 'alcohol-related' incident, this comes after Mason Bennett and Tom Lawrence were charged with drink driving yesterday following a collision, the Derby team were out for a team meal on Tuesday night and some of them continued drinking after the meal, Derby say they will investigated and the players involved will be heavily punished.

Ugh, Liverpool at 6:30am my time again. I always wake up about 10-15 minutes ahead of the 6:30am game to get a little pre game info and to hopefully get woke up good enough to last through the entire game. But what usually happens is somewhere around the 20-30 minute mark my eyelids start getting heavy and I'll drift off and wake up to see the 0-0 game I last saw ended 3-2 and now the next game is about to start.

Very busy at work to start the day but it looks like a pretty uneventful match for Liverpool. They broke through in the 70th minute and just need to see out the win at Bramall Lane. Apparently they have never won on those grounds in the Premier League.

I just started watching the Juve match. They have Cuadrado and Matuidi at full back due to injuries while Dybala, Ramsey and Rabiot also start against SPAL. Ronaldo is out for blood after not winning the Best Footballer award. Buffon starts in goal and passes Maldini for the most Serie A appearances in history.

The referee at Yeovil Town vs. Bromley in the National League sent off...

... the ball boys. All of them.

But why...?

According to the BBC website, one of them was time wasting by refusing to give the ball back to the opposition. The lad in question was given a warning about this but then did it again anyway and was then removed by the stewards at the request of the referee. I guess at this point the ref figured it was best to ask for all of them to be removed to prevent any more incidents like this.

What absolute muppets.

Just like I figured I dozed off at about the 10 minute mark and woke back up at 54 minutes so I did see the winning goal but it doesn't look like I missed anything else.

Everton gave Man City a pretty good game but it was just too much quality at the end.

Leicester 5-0 Newcastle, terrible day for Newcastle, Isaac Hayden get shown a straight red for a nasty challenge on Dennis Praet but that was after Pereira got Leicester's first and they went to town in the second half with two goals from Vardy, a Paul Dummet own goal and a nice strike from Ndidi.

We were still crap with the fat Spanish waiter but at least he had us organised. We are just a shambles at the moment.

AC Milan are almost unwatchable at this point, which is a shame because I pay extra to see their matches... Marco Giampaolo will be lucky to make it as manager another handful of matches after the club have lost 4 of the opening 6 games; their worst start to a season since 1938-39.

Spalletti, Shevchenko, Ranieri, Gattuso (again) and even Rudi Garcia are rumored to be brought in as a replacement. Max Allegri could also return as manager but that likely wouldn't be until next season.

I looked at that score yesterday and then back at our own 4-1 away win at Boro... and thought "Phew, we're so lucky Bruce is a greedy traitor".

I'm willing to bet Bruce will throw his hat into the ring when Solskjaer is sacked, because it's a club he holds dear and shared so much success with and it'll be his last ever job in football, etc etc etc.

I was speaking with a Newcastle fan last night and he claimed that Bruce wasn't on the original top 10 list when looking for a replacement for Benitez.

FIFA have ordered Cardiff City to pay £5.3 million first instalment to Nantes for Emiliano Sala, then another £5 million in 2020 and 2021.

Quite nervous about the game tonight. :scared:

Edit: actually scrap that last bit, team news is in and Pogba and Rashford both starting, feeling a bit more confident now, but still a tough game.

10 years ago I would have spent the whole day buzzing about the massive game but in all honesty it just feels a bit flat. Both teams have faultered greatly in the last few years to the point where it doesn't have that big game feel anymore. Even when United do play a team at the business end of the table it's less of an "excited for the match" and more of a "please don't hammer us" feeling.

It's weird, after all the club comments at the time of his death being about how he was a Cardiff player, that Cardiff would try to claim he wasn't a Cardiff player.
