When I started watching again, I noticed that 3 of the Ford GTs were at one point driving within 1-2 seconds between each other. That looked great! :D

I'm also kinda watching Ford's streaming of the event again, it's nice to see a GT in the AM class this year aswell.

This is an easy one. Because the viewership ratings for these races aren't very high in U.S. People, in general, just don't care as much for the big racing events and especially ones outside of the U.S. It annoys me too, but that is just how it is here. Look, I'm with you guys. I'll be watching a ton of the coverage because I love everything racing, but the reality is the WEC just doesn't draw big numbers here. That's why it doesn't air on one of the big 4 networks or even the higher profile cable channels (ESPN, etc). Keep in mind they would have to wipe nearly 24 hours of weekend primetime coverage off the slate to air most of the race. No chance of that happening on a major network.

Ah yes. It's easy to forget that while racing is life to me, it isn't everyone's cup of tea. What a shame as it's so beautiful!

Really don't get how they are choosing which caution method to use at any give time. Seems to be no rhyme or reason to any of it.

I think it relates to the amount and location of debris and personnel on track. I don't like safety cars anymore than anyone else, but I do get the sense that they are trying to limit their use, while keeping safety in mind. I really do like the full course yellow procedure with closed pits. It gives more racing under green like it should be.

Okay, I'm getting confused. I recall the C7R Vette being in 3rd on the WEC site minutes ago and now a Scott Dixon's #69 Ford GT is catching it.

EDIT: Crash at Indianapolis.

I will watch the best clips when its on youtube after next week nurb 24hr madness to enjoy seeing subaru and their mighty wrx sti nbr car outpace gt3 and droooollll looking at audis nbr tt lol and admire the porsche and hurrcan and hope to see a ford gt finish and enjoy the exhaust sounds from the gt3 corvette and see how many prototypes make it to the end before they are stopped and replaced with the gt1 spec cars :(

I'm watching the Motortrend Channel myself while watching Ford's livestream of the event. It's fun seeing onboard footage of the GTs each year, I'm going to miss this.

Watching car racing and motorsport would be better without the FIA. Racing cars just like most road cars have four wheels. So they all should be powered by all four wheels in a matter of common sense. For the fia to make a rule of fr only is the motorsport governing body saying all cars only have two wheels. Every manufacturer in motorsport has access to 4wd or awd or whatever each manufacturer call their systems, so they should all just turn up and race them with all four wheels in use. I would love it for a manufacturer to turn up to a gt3 race with a car that has two wheels at the back and nothing else. Then cut a cake for the fia to see if they understand the number four lol

Yeah I doubt the Fords are gonna win this one. Maybe get a podium.

At least they may win GTE Am if it keeps going smoothly for them. And if they do, I hope that leads to more privateer interests for the GTs.

Right now I'm pulling for AF Corse to get their first win for the 488.

#92 Porsche is still in the garage. Currently 2 laps down to the GTE Pro leaders.

#4 ByKolles is going nowhere fast.
