43's hovering between 4th-6th. Trying my best to to get too excited, since fuel's gonna be a factor soon.

Well, that was a finish! Blaney wins by the absolute narrowest of margins, which I'm (begrudgingly) very ok with.

Aric Almirola takes 3rd backwards!

Unfortunately, I'm upset that we got such a great overall finish, but the 43 finished outside the Top-10. They absolutely had what it took to win, and I am so gutted.

Not gonna lie, I was getting kinda pissed when it looked like Harvick was gonna win.

Biggest losers by far were Hendrick Motorsports. (Edit: and the 21 team)

Loved the show of support for Bubba before the race, that was cool and genuine, but if you want to see the definition of “publicity stunt” look at Bubba’s interactions with those BLM shirt-wearing “fans“ after the race. Obviously just a thing NASCAR had cooked up to make themselves look good and “diverse”.

Probably the best Talladega race in at least a decade otherwise. It had everything (except a true big one that made the drivers look like morons like usual)

Well, IMO, wether it was staged or not, at least NASCAR showed they do care for diversity and at the end, everyone are the same outside and inside. Just check twitter, nobody cared if it was made-up or not :)

You can say Bubba "gently opened the door"...

It was pretty obvious that it was setup considering Bubba somehow knew it was their first race and came from Atlanta.

Having said that, it was kind of funny considering the “parade” outside the track yesterday.

The interview with Bubba Wallace after his finish at Talladega today was amazing. The showing of support before and after the race were incredible. The race itself was your usual Talladega craziness. Even with the limited spectator count, it did feel like normal was being established, though still a far cry from times past. It was a great race.

The last few laps were really tense with soo many cars running low on fuel. It didn't look like a caution would come out until Jimmie got turned by Harvick, which basically saved everyone's butt. The last 3 laps were great fun to watch with some truly spicy stuff going on at the front and in the pack. It's the kind of action that's guaranteed to excite no matter what racing you're into. I thought Stenhouse stole it at the line but Blaney got there by a nose. Almirola definitely had an interesting technique when he crossed the line in third.

It looked like Blaney walled Jones because he was about to win.
That’s a classic dirt track move.
Glad Blaney got a win.
Harvick seen a gap and took it, and got pinched and wasn’t on the wrong end.
Bubba’s support at the beginning was good to see.

I was on twitter and saw Jussie Smollett was trending, so I clicked on it to see why. Shaking my head.

I would think someone would have taken a picture. On the other hand I can understand someone running up and just ripping it down. I hope there is good video surveillance in that area.

I predict they will not find out who the person was that hung the noose. The actions before and after the race yesterday even further my thoughts that this was all a publicity stunt.

Answer me honestly, are you disappointed the Confederate flag has been banned from NASCAR?

Some people are just so stupid that they don’t even know that the Sonoma race has been cancelled.
On top of that, Sonoma would have been run last weekend (June 14th). Someone should check to see if Chicagoland has one there.
