On the Isle of Wight, an island off the south coast of England, two farms exist less than a kilometre apart.

I wonder if they hate each other.

Good. Larkham and Crompton are 2 of the reasons I continue to watch Supercars, particularly now my favourite driver - Mclaughlin - has moved on.
Yeah they say they listen. If they have been listening Larko wouldn't have been dropped. Anyways it's good that he's back.

Morris explaining his view on a manual transmissions for Supercars.

I've watched the video and he does make some great points and again it shows that Supercars don't listen. If they get rid of the shifter we will by like GT3, TCR, etc. I understand from a safety point of view. But as Morris says it takes away a tool from the drivers.

Add F1 to that list. (V8)Supercars pretty much is the same since 1993. I think NASCAR still use H-Pattern. It's a tool, but what mainly defined this series, has been Triple Eight, Prodrive and HRT winning everything. DJRTP been the recent multiple winners. So, a transmission change, really wouldn't change the racing.

Camaro and Mustang roads cars, still offer manuals and V8s as standard. That's the relevence. I'm all for an H-pattern, but I'm moreso for good racing. All the other series, still have good racing with paddle shift. It's this series with their rule changes, tyre changes, car changes and the top teams, that determine if the racing is good or not.

I agree with you. It will certainly be up to Gen 3 next year. Hopefully we will have a better product next year but I'm still excited for this year.

Erebus are going to run this livery for the test days. It's giving me a bit of an old Team Kiwi vibe.

Edit: Fullwood's livery. Black and pink works for me. Liking this a lot. Black wheels would have been nice though.

Yes... last years livery ;)

👍

Despite the different sponsors. Both WAU cars had the same livery design last year. Interesting to see if they keep that theme going. I wouldn't mind at all if Chaz's car was black as well.

T8's worst livery ever imo :yuck:

And those Harry high pants looking race suits.... seriously

Yep, it's a mess. Having Ampol and Redbull on the side of the car looks like crap - choose one or the other.
How long T8 been in business? Surely someone there could have done a cool half-sponsorship livery. Missed opportunity. Plus, the Supercheap sponsorship looks...well,... super cheap.

TCM will run at the B500. At least ARG like to share and play well with others.

First time I saw it I didn't think it was too bad, just a bit busy. The more I look at it the worst it gets though. Think too the problem (for me anyway). Is that all the Red Bull liveries start to look more or less the same after a while. They just aren't very exciting anymore.

As long as you're in the Eastern states that is :grumpy:

It's hard to be different when you've got long term sponsors, but it's a good problem to have.

I thought this new livery would end up being a bit of a dogs breakfast with too many main sponsors but the main thing for me is more that the lines are horrible. It reminds me of a dog dragging it's arse on the carpet!

Heimgartner's new scheme. Might be a bit of a grower but can't say I'm a fan at the moment. Don't think that the Penrite and Ned colors mix well.

I'm a bit the same. It's sort of okayish (maybe ) but definitely not as good as last years.

:dopey:

It just kinda of looks like last years livery with Penrite slapped on the front and side.

Still better than T8's effort though, imo.

Chaz's car. I really liked last years livery once they changed it. This beats the crap out of it though. Also, I'm getting an old Erebus E63 vibe from it.

Edit: Apologies for the double post.

Chaz just needs to knock the red mirrors off.

The reveal (and more red mirrors ):

It really is a shame they don't keep the coloured rims.
