Will Ronaldo actually play?So... Messi vs. Ronaldo for the finals??... Who's betting??
Hopefully not.Will Ronaldo actually play?
I assume the same aplies to Cancelo, Leão and Neves, which would be on everyone's starting 11?Hopefully not.
You're looking way too much into what I said. It has nothing to do with strategy.I assume the same aplies to Cancelo, Leão and Neves, which would be on everyone's starting 11?
I just find it weird how this win means that 1 of the 3 players benched (obvious starters), was the problem, and the other 2 are fine. On the contrary, I think that we started very weak, with terrible 15 minutes, fortunately the Swiss lack of quality meant we didn't concede, which allowed us to gain control of the game, and then score. That start against France or Brazil, would probably start a whole different debate.
Had things gone wrong, everyone would blame Santos for benching such key players. Ramos missed a 1v1, had the game been 0-0, guess what would happen? Imagine if it was the number 7 guy missing.
It's really a shame that such a good performance, gets overshadowed by this. And nevermind Ramos, Felix was also great, probably his best performance ever for the national team.
I am of the opinion that, strategicaly, in the KO stages, Ronaldo should be on the bench. He won't last 90 minutes, let alone 120, but he can be the sort of "super sub" we never had before, when the game requires him.
All you need to do is add a window and the worker would be in Russia.Brazil has had one decent half of football in the entire tournament. They laboured to 2-0 and 1-0 wins, lost 1-0 to Cameroon, and - although it didn't matter - lost the second half to South Korea.
I'm just amazed they lasted this long, although it's also a surprise it was Extra Time Croatia that beat them.
Also Nasser al-Khater, chief executive of the Qatar World Cup would just like to say that falling to your death repairing an event resort car park's lighting is "a natural part of life". Which I guess it is for indentured migrant workers in that human rights vacuum.
That's one half more than Croatia have had.Brazil has had one decent half of football in the entire tournament. They laboured to 2-0 and 1-0 wins, lost 1-0 to Cameroon, and - although it didn't matter - lost the second half to South Korea.

I'd rather the best footballing team one than a team who hasn't won it winning it just because they haven't. Of those teams Portugal have been the most entertaining watch, Morocco the most surprising. Netherlands and Croatia have been deathly boring to watch.I'm fine with the Netherlands, Croatia, Portugal or Morocco winning the World Cup. They have never won it before and it's time for a new country to win it.
From that to thisI'm not a fan of Neymar, but... wow!
Goal of the tournament, phenomenal!
He's part of why I no longer watch football, and seeing that bring a small smile to my face. That ****er doesn't deserve a single tournament win anymore. From that to this
