Yesterdays Xfinity race felt more like a 90's plate race with how strung out the field got. Will be interesting to see if the cup race races similar. Similar temps as yesterday weather wise. also possibility of rain should make things interesting.

lol. Now they throw full course cautions when people spin, hit nothing and collect it up in the span of five seconds?

There is no local yellow on ovals.

Really hoped the 7 car could pull off an upset.

Pretty good race even though the NBC crew told you in the pre-race and throughout the race that Elliot was going to win.

If Lajoie managed to get along side of Elliott I think he wins it. But Elliott reacted in time. If he got along side and was then fenced,(Which is what I thought had happened at first) similar to Cindric on Blaney at Daytona earlier this year, I would be way more upset about the move.

Guy up in the flag stand already had that yellow flag ready as soon as the #9 dumped the #7. And if you think I'm the only one with this opinion, go to Twitter, Facebook or You Tube and read the comments.

That is usually how it works, or do you think all flagmen just have lightning fast reflexes that allow them to have that sucker go from in a tube to waving in a split second?

If this is what you're going to use to support an argument it's a very good sign it's not a very good argument.

I was unaware a driver could dump another when they were in front of said dumped driver...:odd:

Anyway, it's fun to watch the underdog go for the win. It just didn't quite work out for Lajoie there.

I guess Dillon is mad that Chastain has accomplished more in this half season than he has in 10 years. He shouldnt worry about results as long as his drunken pop pop owns the team. Also ironic how his teammate runs circles around him.

It will be interesting to see if he replaces one of the current drivers or if they expand to 3 cars.

"Screw RCR's future." -Michael Jordan and Denny Hamiln probably

They have Austin Hill who is coming along nicely and while Creed hasn’t had a great year he showed quite a bit of talent in the trucks.

The fact that it’s for 2024 makes me think Kurt Busch will be out by then. But I guess we’ll see.

That's tough news for RCR.

I can't see 23XI expanding to a 3rd car just yet, so either Kurt retires or Bubba gets the boot would be my guess.

23XI should just buy out the 2023 contract of Reddick and put him in the #23 next year. Let Kurt retire and get a solid free agent following the 2023 season. There will be plenty of good drivers available according to the Jayski

Not sure if you're trolling or not here, but Darrell brings in too much money for 23XI to do that. Most of that team's sponsorship is tied to Wallace.

Kurt's probably done after 2023. He's bounced around all manufacturers, and practically went through Penske, Haas, Chip Ganassi, and Roush. He's a champion, and Daytona 500 winner, so he's pretty much done everything.

Take a look at Doordash. The stockholders have lost over 50% since the beginning of the year. Gonna be hard to justify sponsoring a 27th place car every week to the shareholders. And McDonald's is directly linked to that, so would not surprise me to see those big names leave. Doordash altogether and McDonald's to a better ride.

They usually are, or at the very least regularly regurgitate poor takes. Usually best not to engage with them.

Regardless, arguably 23XI's biggest problem right now is having a competent pit crew for the 23 car, as evidenced by Christopher Bell's crew being swapped with the 23 team last weekend, only for Bell to lose a tire on pit road. The 23 and Bubba has shown solid speed multiple times this year, but due to bad calls, bad stops and/or bad luck, doesn't have the results to show for it.

If there's anything that'll get sponsors to leave, it's that crew. I'd imagine most sponsors prefer to have the car on the track advertising for them, even if their car is behind the leaders, compared to not running at all due to either a lost tire or being parked for the remainder of the race.

Wouldn't it be wise for Gragson just to stick with JRM and see where things shake out? I think cup is inevitable for that team.

If I'm Noah I stay put.

I don't see JRM making the cup debut anytime soon. For one IIRC, Hendrick has a stake in the team, and he'd have to sell that stake for JR to make the jump.

It's cheaper and more cost effective for JRM to exist as a feeder team for Hendrick and RCR (Even though RCR already has an Xfinity car)

MTJ falling off the pace pretty significantly right now compared to earlier.

Edit: Bell could very well cause an upset, and Bubba is knocking on Custer's back door to get into the Top-5.

Edit 2: Fantastic! Bell takes the win and P3 for Bubba! Keselowski also takes P6 for Roush and Kurt Busch was able to get back into the Top-10 at the end, so excellent result for both teams. Unfortunate for MTJ to drop off after having a dominant first 2/3rds, though a P4 finish is still solid.
