Was somebody filling in for the regular long snapper? That extra point snap went back slow which could have contributed to it getting blocked and then the snap was high on the field goal attempt.
I believe so. We were at the bar and the only TV that had the sound on was the Colts. But it looked like it may have been someone else longsnapping.
We may have won the battle but it seems we lost the war - Watt may well be out for the season now with a torn pec

That stinks. Didn't realize his injury was that serious. Guys on both sides were dropping like flies in the 4th quarter and OT. And Higgins went out even before that with a concussion.

The Cowboys season is pretty much over already that alone makes me very happy about the 2022 NFL season, no matter what else happens.
❤️

That is all.

We’ve had others in the past with the same injury, lost for the year like Cam Hayward.

It may not be all over but I don’t have much hope

”The reigning Defensive Player of the Year will get second and third medical opinions about his torn pec Tuesday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. If doctors determine that Watt needs surgery, his season likely would be over; if he doesn't need surgery, he could possibly return in six weeks”

Your long snapper was injured and I think they said it was a backup tight end filling in.

All is not lost. 6 weeks is survivable. Probably more likely he's back week 10 after the bye.

But probably not at full strength. You kind of need that muscle if you're a pass rusher to push off the offensive linemen with.

Week 2's action starts tonight! Here are the prime time matches for this week:

  • LAC Chargers at KC Chiefs (Thursday Night Football (TONIGHT!))
  • CHI Bears at GB Packers (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • TEN Titans at BUF Bills (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • MIN Vikings at PHI Eagles (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

So we have a doubleheader of action on Monday Night Football this week. This is also the debut of the NFL on Amazon Prime. I'm just hoping this doesn't become some money grab or stingy deal like when MLB games are shown only on YouTube or on Apple+.

Enjoy this week's games!

Get ready for another Sunday of NFL football! Hopefully your favorite team(s) win. The nightcap tonight is an NFC North clash where the Chicago Bears meet the Green Bay Packers.

Enjoy today's/tonight's action!

Not sure which team choked more today. The Baltimore Ravens coughing up a 21 point lead in the fourth quarter to lose to the Miami Dolphins 42-38 or the Cleveland Browns squandering a 13 point lead with under 2 minutes left and losing to the New York Jets 31-30.

A brutal game in Denver by both teams saw the Denver Broncos win 16-9. The two teams traded field goals for most of the game until the Broncos finally find the end zone in the 4th Quarter. Too many penalties by both teams made this game nearly unwatchable. The only thing beautiful about this game was the sunny blue skies in Denver. Other than that, this is our first loss. Now 0-1-1 on the 2022 season.

UP NEXT... We're at the Chicago Bears next weekend.

Congratulations to all winners from this week, including stunning wins by Omnis' Miami Dolphins (at BAL Ravens) and Blitz24's New York Jets (at CLE Browns), and Joey D's Detroit Lions (vs. WAS Commanders)!

[UPDATE] 16-9, Denver. Not 17-9.

Titans at Bills and Vikings at Eagles both TONIGHT!

This Monday Night is a doubleheader of NFL action! First, it's an AFC clash where the Tennessee Titans will meet the hot Buffalo Bills. Then later, it is an NFC clash whereas the Minnesota Vikings will pay a visit to the Philadelphia Eagles.

(TEN Titans at BUF Bills)
FAVORED: BUF (-10)
OVER/UNDER: 47.5 points

(MIN Vikings at PHI Eagles)
FAVORED: PHI (-2.5)
OVER/UNDER: 50.5 points

Should you watch one game or both games, enjoy tonight's action!

The Bills are looking scary good this year. Sunday at Miami is going to be interesting.

Man... does the AFC South stink or what? This may be the worst division in the NFL. Titans are winless, Houston and Indianapolis are 0-0-1, and Jacksonville is the only team with a win so far.

It's okay to fear the Buffalo Bills so far. Maybe this is where Buffalo can finally take a stand and possibly be the AFC representative in the Super Bowl this season. Maybe after many shortcomings, they may finally get it right. Both Buffalo and Miami are 2-0 so far this season. So I'm sure the BUF at MIA match is going to be a barn burner.

Let's talk about the upcoming Prime Time matches this week. This week:

  • PIT Steelers at CLE Browns (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • SF 49ers at DEN Broncos (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • DAL Cowboys at NY Giants (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

Ah- I see we got a Dolph Drago vs. Blitz24 inner-forum rivalry this weekend. The Bengals are at the New York Jets this Sunday. The NFC North will be in vogue when the Detroit Lions meet the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis.

Enjoy this weekend's games!

I'm sure there's a Cowboys fan somewhere on the forums, especially after Cooper Rush did well 🤣

Based on what I've seen so far out of both teams, Cowboys will win on Monday. The majority of our drives have been less than impressive, save for a couple big/and/or lucky plays that went our way. If Cooper can do what he did again, it'll be a long evening.

Fall/Autumn is for football, and so we begin this new season with... you guessed it- FOOTBALL! Tonight is a match where the AFC North is in vogue and on display with the Pittsburgh Steelers going to the Cleveland Browns.

Some people post weird stats. Here's one I saw from a Reddit post... the Miami Dolphins, since 2021, have won 11 straight games against quarterbacks that have the letter "O" in their last name, and they have lost 9 straight against quarterbacks who don't have an "O" in their last name. I thought this was an interesting note to bring up.

Enjoy tonight's game, and whatever else NFL you're following this week!

🤬! Two weekends until they visit Cincy and Burr'O'w. So we're looking at an 0-4 or 1-3 start to the season depending how this weekend goes.

Bengals will resurrect the "Bungles" moniker if they somehow lose to the Jets.
