Week 6 of the 2022 National Football League season is upon us. So let's take a look at the matches coming up for this week in the NFL:

  • WAS Commanders at CHI Bears (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • BUF Bills at KC Chiefs
  • DAL Cowboys at PHI Eagles (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • DEN Broncos at LAC Chargers (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

BYE WEEK FOR WK. 6: HOU, DET, LV, TEN

Maybe the biggest match this upcoming week is when the Bills and Chiefs play each other. CBS been hyping up this match, as it is a rematch of the AFC Championship game from some time ago. There are still ample opportunities to enjoy some NFL football this week.

By the way, the Chiefs held serve at home to defeat the Raiders 30-29 last night.

Enjoy this week's games!

We begin another week of NFL action starting tonight. It's an NFC night as the Washington Commanders will meet the Chicago Bears in Chi-Town. This is not entirely an enticing matchup. Washington is 1-4 on the season, and Chicago is 2-3.

Enjoy tonight's game if you'll be watching and/or following!

You know what I realized about today's games? We have what you could call the "Who Bowl?" That's because we have the Cincinnati Bengals (Who Dey?) at the New Orleans Saints (Who Dat?). My Texans aren't playing this week, so I may just check in to talk about how everyone else not on Bye Week are doing today.

Enjoy this week's games!

Broncos at Chargers TONIGHT!

We have an AFC West showdown to take place in Inglewood, CA. With the AFC West in vogue and on display tonight, here's a little rundown for you...

--- GAME INFO ---
  • DEN Broncos (2-3, 3rd in AFC West) at LAC Chargers (3-2, 2nd in AFC West)
  • FAVORED: LAC (-4)
  • OVER/UNDER: 46 pts.

From yesterday among us GTPlaneteers, congratulations to the Bengals winning at New Orleans and the New York Jets winning embarrassingly at Green Bay.

Feel free to enjoy watching/following tonight's game if you choose to do so. Enjoy the game!

Steelers won and Brady had a hissy fit - a marvelous and unexpected day, he only has about 3 losses against us in 20 years.

The Denver Broncos lost last night 19-16 in Overtime at the Los Angeles Chargers. Denver now 1-3 in prime time games this season.

It's time to welcome in Week 7 of NFL Football. Dang- 7th week ALREADY... Here are some of this week's games:

  • NO Saints at ARI Cardinals (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • ATL Falcons at CIN Bengals
  • TB Buccaneers at CAR Panthers
  • NYG Giants at JAX Jaguars
  • DET Lions at DAL Cowboys
  • NYJ Jets at DEN Broncos
  • PIT Steelers at MIA Dolphins (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • CHI Bears at NE Patriots (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

* BYE WEEK: BUF Bills, LAR Rams, MIN Vikings, and PHI Eagles

My Houston Texans will be at the Las Vegas Raiders.

Enjoy this week's games!

Tonight begins another week of NFL Football. It's the boys from New Orleans going out to Glendale to meet the Arizona Cardinals. Will we get a decent game, or will we wish Thursday football should ONLY be played on Thanksgiving? Enjoy this game if you'll be watching!

OTHER NOTES:
* On another note, next season will feature a Black Friday game. Usually, football on Black Friday usually involves college football. The NFL wants to make some more money starting next season by having a Black Friday match. So get ready for that next season.

* The Tennessee Titans have looked into a deal to build a new domed stadium. Considering the Tennessee Titans were once the Houston Oilers, who played in a domed stadium, this seems a bit... not sure what word to use. The new stadium will be near the current Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

I was an original Tennessee Titans season ticket holder starting in 1997 when they played their home games at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis while this current stadium was being built in Nashville. I think my name is still on the wall at the main entrance as an original season ticket holder. At least it was as of 2005 when I had to let my tickets go due to personal cost cutting.

It was known as Adelphia back then I think but it doesn't seem like this stadium is that old to be talking about replacing it.

One of the games I remember was Christmas night 2000 when the Titans played the Dallas Cowboys. It was 29 degrees at kickoff and I think when the game ended it was 19 or 20. It wasn't the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field or anything like that but I hate the cold and I was frozen. Titans won the game 31-0.

Expecting a boring Sunday? Let the National Football League give you reason to be excited! Feel free to enjoy the upcoming games today and tonight. Enjoy today's games, and as always, let us know how your beloved team(s) did in their latest game!

The Houston Texans tried to go all-in and go all-out in Las Vegas... only to go bankrupt. We failed big time today- 38-20 loss at the Las Vegas Raiders. The big factor was 21 straight points scored by the Raiders late in the 2nd half. Some injuries didn't help the Texans' cause either on this day. It won't get much better next week for the Texans when the Tennessee Titans come to Houston next Sunday for the "TNT Rivalry."

Elsewhere...

* It wasn't a happy time for the Atlanta Falcons as the Dirty Birds got cleaned up at Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals 35-17.

* Have the 2022 Green Bay Packers hit rock bottom? After losing last week at home bad to the New York Jets, they lost 23-21 at the Washington Commanders.

* Would you laugh at me if I said the New York Giants are for real? Well, one GTPlaneteer is certainly smiling after taming the Jacksonville Jaguars 23-17 in Jacksonville to improve to 6-1.

* The Detroit Lions didn't have a good time in Dallas. The Cowboys had Dak Prescott return and do a 24-6 number on the Lions.

* Tampa Bay's struggles continue as the Buccaneers fell 21-3 at the Carolina Panthers.

Sorry for the sad vibes I'm bringing about my Houston Texans, but that's how it goes. Congratulations to all other winners of this week's games!

Bears at Patriots TONIGHT!

Monday Night Football comes your way this week in the greater Boston area. Are you ready for tonight's game? Here's some info for you...

--- Game Information ---
  • CHI Bears (2-4, 3rd in the NFC North) at NE Patriots (3-3, 4th in the AFC East)
  • FAVORED: NE (-8)
  • OVER/UNDER: 40.5 pts.

Not really an attractive match, but you probably are fans of either team or want to track how your fantasy team is doing. Well, either way, I hope you get to enjoy tonight's game. Enjoy the action, GTPlaneteers!

Before I begin, I previously posted the following post in the wrong thread. So now on to this post.

Wow... the Chicago Bears roughed up the the New England Patriots last night. I think I saw the Pats turn the ball over four times in the rout win by the Bears.

Let's look at some of the games coming up this new week. Here are some of Week 8's games:

  • BAL Ravens at TB Buccaneers (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • DEN Broncos vs. JAX Jaguars (from London, England, UK)
  • MIA Dolphins at DET Lions
  • NE Patriots at NYJ Jets
  • PIT Steelers at PHI Eagles
  • NYG Giants at SEA Seahawks
  • TEN Titans at HOU Texans
  • GB Packers at BUF Bills (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • CIN Bengals at CLE Browns (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

This week has games in the United States and in the United Kingdom. This week's Monday Night Football game is on Halloween and has Buckeye State pride on the line. I'm just hoping my sorry Houston Texans don't become the Titans' chew toy again. We're already one of the doormats of the league.

Also, NFL trade talk can happen now that we're later into the season. Some teams can be big buyers or big sellers as they try to build either to improve or to keep pace.

Other than that... enjoy this week's games!

Was kinda wondering what McD was thinking going for it on 4th down instead of kicking an easy FG and making it a two-possession game.

Then I saw this and realized we have a genius coach who got the exact look he was anticipating but was let down by a totally blind RB.

Left side doesn't get more open than that. Could've been an easy race to the endzone.

Ravens at Buccaneers sets off this Halloween weekend of NFL football tonight. Enjoy tonight's game if you'll be watching or following!

Whether your favorite NFL team(s) is/are playing in the United States or United Kingdom today, it's time to kick off another Sunday of NFL action! Enjoy today's games!

Another game, another fail. We lost AGAIN- 17-10 hosting the Tennessee Titans. All the "Help Wanted" signs remain on the Texans' offense. The Texans scored an inconsequential late touchdown, but it was still pretty much over even if they recovered the onside kick.

Up next for the Houston Texans: No rest for the weary- we're back at it on Thursday Night when we take on the [undefeated] Philadelphia Eagles. It's our only night game of this season.

Congratulations to all winners of this week's games! So how's life for your favorite team(s) of late?

Bengals at Browns TONIGHT!

Happy Halloween! Not only is the AFC North in vogue tonight, the state of Ohio is in vogue tonight as well. It's the defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Cleveland Browns tonight in Cleveland. Buckeye State pride is on the line. So which is the better Ohio NFL team? We find out tonight!

--- GAME INFORMATION ---
  • CIN Bengals (4-3, 2nd in the AFC North) at CLE Browns (2-5, 3rd in the AFC North)
  • FAVORED: CIN (-3.5)
  • OVER/UNDER: 45 points

Enjoy tonight's game should you be watching or following!

Who Dey! After so many years, they finally grabbed some primetime wins last season. Let's hope it continues tonight.

I know Chase was out, but the offense was poo. The o-line went back to being porous. They were throwing sideline to sideline instead of downfield, something I complained about earlier in the season. Then the defense that hadn't given up a second half touchdown all season gave up what, 3 of them tonight? They did a great job in the first half to limit the Browns to 11 points. Well, other than the 12 men on field penalty leading to the 2 point conversion. They must have been gassed in the second half because the offense couldn't get going. Even McPherson was off, missing the 47 yarder and even an extra point.

It's like we reverted back to the pre-Burrow Prime Time Bungles. Ugly all around.

I'm so done with the Raiders. I can't believe it.

We did not lose against the 85 Bears or the 00 Ravens... we were freaking shut down by the 22 Saints... THE. 22. SAINTS.

With all that money invested on offense, an offensive minded HC who is supposedly a genius, with the best WR in the game, with a top TE, a TOP Slot receiver, an angry RB that wants a new deal and a passable OLine you should be able to at least go past midfield to try to pickup 3 points consistently...

And you get freaking nothing. NOTHING. NO POINTS. ZERO. NADA.

I'm done. This team went from having so much heart and resilence to making me want to quit watching football. I can't stand them. I can't support them anymore. I can't watch them. I'm going to simply pretend the team folded for the season.

This better be the 1st and last year of McDaniels as Raiders HC. And for the love of god, the last year of Carr with the Silver and Black. He is not getting us anywhere.

Let's update the Standings for all of the teams in the National Football League before we discuss Week 9. Find your favorite team(s):

--- AFC STANDINGS (as of: November 1, 2022) ---
AFC EAST: Buffalo (6-1). NYJ and MIA (5-3 each), NE (4-4)
AFC NORTH: Baltimore (5-3), CIN (4-4), CLE (3-5), PIT (2-6)
AFC SOUTH: Tennessee (5-2), IND (3-4-1), JAX (2-6), HOU (1-5-1)
AFC WEST: Kansas City (5-2), LAC (4-3), DEN (3-5), LV (2-5)

--- NFC STANDINGS (as of: November 1, 2022) ---
NFC EAST: Philadelphia (7-0), DAL and NYG (6-2), WAS (4-4)
NFC NORTH: Minnesota (6-1), GB and CHI (3-5 each), DET (1-6)
NFC SOUTH: Atlanta (4-4), TB and NO (3-5), CAR (2-6)
NFC WEST: Seattle (5-3), SF (4-4), LAR (3-4), ARI (3-5)

So as you can see, Philadelphia remains the only unbeaten team thus far. Houston and Detroit, meanwhile, are stuck on one win each as the doormats of their respective conferences. Teams struggling can still make at least a Wild Card run. Teams at the top still need to perform well to make it into the Playoffs. There's still a lot to be determined as of this point. Nobody's been officially eliminated yet, so keep playing hard!

From time to time, I like to assess my team(s). I invite you GTPlaneteers to do the same if you like. So here's my assessment of the Texans.

The 2022 Houston Texans had nothing expected of them- even including suffering their first-ever tie. A team with such potential and with a great head coach in Lovie Smith still is not getting the results they could be acheiving. Some say Davis Mills should be benched and let Jeff Driskel take over the offense at QB. Brandin Cooks and Dameon Pierce have been the bright spots on offense. The only things keeping them in games are the defense and special teams. There seems to be absolutely nothing to suggest the Texans are even trying to turn around their misfortunes. It is almost as if they are expected to lose every single remaining game, including their upcoming only prime time game as the Texans host the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles. We already have a Houston-Philadelphia deal with the 2022 World Series, but this Houston-Philadelphia battle Thursday night is not going to be close until divine intervention or some sort of chicanery happens to lift the Texans past the Eagles. Next five for the Texans after Philadelphia: at Giants, Commanders, at Dolphins, Browns, and at Cowboys.

Some of Week 9 matches are as follows:

  • MIA Dolphins at CHI Bears
  • CAR Panthers at CIN Bengals
  • GB Packers at DET Lions
  • BUF Bills at NYJ Jets
  • TEN TItans at KC Chiefs (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • BAL Ravens at NO Saints (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

Enjoy this week's games!

John Marine, no trade deadline recap? You're slippin', dude!

In other news: We have a Chubb.

@Joey D I'm sorry
