Week 9 begins in Houston as my Houston Texans will debut their new red helmets while welcoming home Houston boy Jalen Hurts. I am told No Houston NFL team has ever beaten Philadelphia (including the Oilers), and I'm afraid that trend will continue. I probably won't even see this game... even with another Houston-Philadelphia match going on in another sport. Oh, and did I mention Philadelphia is still undefeated heading into tonight? Houston will try to make the most of their only prime time game of the 2022 NFL season.

Enjoy the game if you'll be watching/following!

While most of Houston was watching the 2022 World Series last night, the Houston Texans lost at home 29-17 to the visiting Philadelphia Eagles last night. Even the great-looking Battle Red helmets and uniforms did nothing to get Houston back into winning graces on the football field. The Texans' fewest number of wins on the season was two, which they've done twice. At this rate, this 2022 team may end up being the all-time worst Houston Texans team since its 2002 debut. It may as well be... No. 1 Draft Pick, here we come...

Up next- at the New York Giants.

Congratulations to all of this week's winners! Too bad we won't be among this week's winners, again.

Dan Campbell has a winning record against the Green Bay Packers and I'm here for it. This is what my life has come to as a Lions fan, but I don't care and I will 100% guzzle the Kool-Aid.

Jets held the Bills in check and did not allow for a touchdown through the air. Allen threw 2 INTs as the Jets won a close one, 20-17.

Congratulations!!!! I love seeing that moron Rodgers frustrated and getting all mad. Serves him right for being an asshole.

I don't know what the Bengals were doing Monday night against the Browns, but today was a complete turnaround. Mixon set a franchise record with 5 touchdowns scored against Carolina. He ran for over 150 yards on the ground and 4 tds and caught for an additional 58 yards and his other td. He had 4 touchdowns at the half. He was pulled sometime in the 3rd quarter after adding his final. I would have loved to have seen him tie the record of 6 in a game.

Not that I would have seen it anyway. It is painful having to watch the Colts here. Today was ugly for them. The offensive lines of Cincy and Indy must have jumped on planes to the wrong game and swapped uniforms, because they gave up 9 sacks to the Pats.

Ravens at Saints TONIGHT!

A couple of Southern cities are ready to clash in New Orleans. Who dat say dey gon' beat 'dem Saints? This time, Baltimore. Will dey, doe?

--- GAME INFORMATION ---
  • BAL Ravens (5-3; 1st in the AFC North) at NO Saints (3-5; 3rd in the NFC South)
  • FAVORED: BAL (-1.5)
  • OVER/UNDER: 46.5 points

Enjoy tonight's game if you'll be watching!

The Colts have fired Frank Reich and named former player and current ESPN analyst Jeff Saturday as interim head coach.

Not that surprised. It's been painful watching their games this year.

Gutentag, Germany! For the first time in NFL history, a regular-season NFL game will be played in Germany. This game will be between the and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a city that knows a thing or two about football- Munich. However, Munich will be introduced to a different style of football.

Here are some of this week's games:

  • ATL Falcons at CAR Panthers (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • SEA Seahawks vs. TB Buccaneers (game played in Munich, Germany)
  • HOU Texans at NYG Giants
  • CIN Bengals at
  • DET Lions at CHI Bears
  • IND Colts at LV Raiders
  • DAL Cowboys at GB Packers
  • LAC Chargers at SF 49ers <<< flexed to (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • WAS Commanders at PHI Eagles (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

WEEK 9 BYE WEEK: BAL, CIN, NYJ, and NE

The hiring of Jeff Saturday for Indianapolis shows either desperation or ambition. They're probably a lock against my Texans, since we almost always fail in Indianapolis. The remaining eight or so games is left to be determined.

Whether your team is awesome or trash, cheer on your beloved teams and enjoy this week's games!

The NFC South is in vogue tonight as the Atlanta Falcons visit the Carolina Panthers. Enjoy the action tonight from Charlotte, North Carolina!

Let's continue this week of NFL action. Whether the game you want to see is in Germany or in the United States, enjoy today's action!

Yeah, the Houston Texans stuck on one win, while now having seven losses and one tie. Houston Texans' latest fail was at the New York Giants, losing 24-16. This team just can't seem to win or even play to win. The Texans don't quit; but at the same time, they can't execute that play-to-win mindset. They just feel like a glorified expansion team. Even the expansion Texans managed to win four games, including their inaugural game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Texans could have drawn the game to 21-16 or either 21-17 or 21-18, but a penalty wiped that out. Much worse- they got picked off on their next pass attempt around that time. The last time the Texans beat the Giants was in 2002, the Texans' inaugural season. The Giants have trailed in all of their games this season except for in this one. It seems highly likely Houston will get the first draft pick in 2023 by now unless some other team does much worse than the Texans.

Up next for the Houston Texans: back home next Sunday to host the Washington Commanders. You know, the artists formerly known as the "Washington Football Team," and (another name) before that.

Enough ranting about my team. Congratulations to all other winners from this week!

Back-to-back Lions wins! 2nd in the NFC North!

Now, Dallas just needs to obliterate Green Bay this afternoon and it'll be a good day.

Commanders at Eagles TONIGHT!

In this NFC East match, will the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles be bested when the Washington Commanders visit?

--- GAME INFORMATION ---
  • WAS Commanders (4-5, 4th in the NFC East) at PHI Eagles (8-0, 1st in NFC East)
  • FAVORED: PHI (-11)
  • OVER/UNDER: 43.5 points

Enjoy tonight's game!

Hurts got me JUST enough points to win in my fantasy football matchup, but lost to the Commanders. Just how I drew it up!

Is anyone else scared of playing Detroit? They seem to be playing like they have nothing to lose.

Jerome

When I first checked into the WAS at PHI game, WAS was ahead 26-21 in the Two Minute Warning of the 2nd Half. After the Eagles' attempt to lateral their way to a comeback, the Commanders scored a touchdown on a scoop-and-score after the Eagles fumbled on a lateral attempt. Final score- 32-21, Washington. Punk'd.

The Washington Commanders will visit my Houston Texans this week. Speaking of this week, here are more games for you NFL lovers this week:

  • TEN Titans at GB Packers (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • CHI Bears at ATL Falcons
  • CLE Browns at BUF Bills
  • PHI Eagles at IND Colts
  • DET Lions at NYG Giants
  • CIN Bengals at PIT Steelers
  • KC Chiefs at LAC Chargers (SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)
  • SF 49ers vs. ARI Cardinals (MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, from Mexico)

BYE WEEK: JAX, MIA, SEA, TB

So whether your favorite team(s) is/are playing in the United States or Mexico this week, enjoy this week's action!

Are you ready for some Thursday Night Football? Well, Tennessee and Green Bay are. The Titans at 6-3 will meet the 4-6 Packers up in the Frozen Tundra. Enjoy tonight's game if you'll be watching or following!

The Cleveland Browns at Buffalo Bills game has been moved to Detroit due to the intense snowstorm expected in Buffalo this weekend. I hope everyone will be safe during this cold weather situation. Please take care and be well.

I am late, but enjoy today's games. A lot of matches going on right now, like Commanders at Texans and Lions at Giants.

A forgettable performance was performed by the Houston Texans today hosting the Washington Commanders. After a pick-six on the 2nd play by the Texans, this one ended up being a continuous nightmare. I stopped watching after the Texans got picked off with 10:05 left in the game, down 23-3. We ended up losing 23-10. So unless other teams fall apart while/if the Houston Texans win, we'll likely take the 1st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. It's almost like the Houston Texans have given up on 2022 and just want to get into 2023. You know... "screw it- it's over." Probably all they can do at this point now at 1-8-1 on the 2022 NFL season.

Up next for the Houston Texans... at Omnis' Miami Dolphins next Sunday.

Congratulations to all winners from this week!

Jets lose again to the Patriots and pretty much this seals the fate of Wilson. The Jets had zero plays past the their own 35 yard line in the second half and the Patriots scored a TD on a punt return (and a no-call on a block in the back).

49ers vs. Cardinals TONIGHT!

Live from Mexico City, Mexico; the NFC West is in vogue with the middle of the NFC West standings set to do battle.

--- GAME INFORMATION ---
  • SF 49ers (5-4, 2nd in NFC West) vs. ARI Cardinals (4-6, 3rd in NFC West)
  • FAVORED: SF (-10)
  • OVER/UNDER: 42.5 points

Enjoy tonight's action from Mexico City, Mexico!

Two QBs will be benched starting this week, both on teams who are dead last in their respective divisions, and both in the AFC.

* The Houston Texans FINALLY decide to bench Davis Mills at QB and put in Kyle Allen. The Texans will likely gain the 1st Overall Draft Pick unless they somehow win out while their other draft-potential teams fall apart. The 2022 Houston Texans are 1-8-1 on the season, dead last in the AFC South and in overall in the NFL.

* The New York Jets will bench Zach Wilson and put in Mike White. The 4-6 Jets are dead last in the AFC East. Zach Wilson got benched after failing badly against the New England Patriots this season.

Football can really be a "what have you done for me lately?" business. Don't perform, get benched.

Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy all the Thanksgiving food and football you so crave on this special day! That even includes the BUF Bills at DET Lions game among others to be played today.

The only real football I saw on Thanksgiving was the BUF at DET game. Sadly after Detroit tied the game, a weather alert popped up on Houston television as we had a flood watch going. So I had to watch highlights of Buffalo ultimately taking out Detroit 28-25 on a game-winning field goal rather than see it live.

Dallas, meanwhile, they're just fine- unlike the other Texas NFL team this season. It was a great win for the Cowboys in taking down the New York Giants in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Texans fan in me wanted to see the Cowboys lose, but it didn't happen. "America's Team" won 28-20 on Thanksgiving 2022.

The Thanksgiving nightcap was the Minnesota Vikings hosting the New England Patriots. It was the Vikes who got the 33-26 win over the Pats.

More action to come this week, so get ready for more NFL football!
