I'd really like for Peugeot to win, their car looks awesome and its concept is cool. Sadly, the pace isn't there. Next year that thing will grow a wing and some NOSSS bottles or something.

If this is glorified NASCAR racing, then I hope every WEC race is glorified NASCAR racing.

Now imagine next year, when Alpine, Lamborghini, and BMW show up too
And Ford Mustang! 😍

Alpine, Lamborghini and BMW are going to be in the top class LMH.
Ford and many others will be competing for the ~20-24 slots of GT3 next year. We should be going from GTE (Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette and Aston) into a much wider array of GT3 cars. I wonder if they will limit 2 slots per manufacturer and make it more factory supported, or leave it to the GT-Am teams?

they'll limit LMP2 entries to gain HC and GT spots

I can't for the life of me figure out where the Hyperclass stands at the moment. Toyota is now 1-2, but I feel that they've been wildly off the pace so far, and the positions in the class are changing continiously. I mean, even the 9X8 is up there, and it's a dog of a car.

As for prettiest car: I vote the yellow Cadillac. It also sounds the best of the Hypercars by a mile.

They are out of sync with the Ferraris in terms of pit sequence. I think Ferrari has the upper hand right now, but future safety cars will help or hurt them.
Yeah, this race is still wide open and that's good for us viewers, exciting race is always fun to watch.

Yeah I think it will be super close for the entire race and in the end the final pit stop and/or safety car phase will decide it. Not counting mechanical issues and accidents of course.

Toyota got 37 kg added in BoP changes, that can be the reason for the pace. Ferrari got 25 kg added as well though.
