It just seems like a huge step down for Haley. They must be offering him a lot of dough.
IIRC SHR supplies the motors, so atleast he'll be in potentially counterfeit equipment rather than scraps left over by RCR.It just seems like a huge step down for Haley. They must be offering him a lot of dough.
Could Haley be positioning himself to move to RFK in a few years whenever Keselowski retires maybe?SHR doesn't build motors - all the full-time Ford motors come from Roush-Yates. Further, the technical alliance ended at the end of last season - Rick Ware Racing now has one with Roush Fenway Keselowski.
It certainly looks like Cody Ware isn't coming back to the family business.
That's a fair shout considering RFK's trajectory.Could Haley be positioning himself to move to RFK in a few years whenever Keselowski retires maybe?
Because he's probably going to pull a Matt Kenseth. 👀Larson showed some restraint in his interview.

Unless you're a cable sports network. Bally/Diamond is in bankruptcy, and Warner Discovery is jettisoning Root Sports by the end of the year. Even Disney is looking for the exits regarding ESPN.Live sports is the only profitable thing left on TV anymore, so it's not surprising that CW's scrambling to pick up any sports-related contracts that they can reasonably afford to hold. $115 million a year is couch cushion money for the rights to a national series.
True, locking stuff away on specialty channels and expecting people to pay a premium for them doesn't work now because there's just too many ways around it, and people are far more reluctant to buy a full cable package exclusively for the sports channels anymore. As far as general network programming goes though they're still making bank on live sports, and even if CW is the perennial backmarker in the network race behind the Big 4, this'll still be a boon for them in the long run.Unless you're a cable sports network. Getting a taste of oval experience before making a big decision seems like a smart idea.
Agreed, but it will be fun to watch. Most likely his perfect record will be broken next weekend, but who knows!
Gragson is out of the #42 indefinitely.
Seems he liked a rather racist tweet. Probably not the best idea when you are already rumored to be on the hotseat.
The first Hendrick contract up is William Byron in 2025.#42 again?
Does Hendrick happen to be in need of a (bad) driver for 2024?
Nemechek in the 42, you say? That sounds familiar...Wouldn't surprise me if we get a Nemechek-to-the-42-full-time-in-'24 announcement this week now that that seat's open and LMC will be itching to knock today's news off the front page.
^This. Already can see the Darlington throwback.
