This was going to be tough for the Houston Texans to win at Green Bay. They are 1-4 all-time against the Packers heading into today. The explosive defense of the Packers was enough to rattle the Texans on offense. This game ended up going in favor of the Green Bay Packers 24-22 on a game-winning field goal. The Texans played very well but came up short.

UP NEXT: vs. IND Colts

Congratulations to all other winners from this week!

And just like that, we're the King of the North. But it's clear that we need someone, anyone, to step up with our pass rush. Without Hutch, it's weak.

The Minnesota Vikings are no longer undefeated. The Detroit Lions tamed the Vikes 31-29 in Minneapolis. Both teams are now 5-1 in the vaunted NFC North. Detroit won on a late field goal.

Now as of the time of this post, the Kansas City Chiefs are the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL this season. They play right now at the San Francisco 49ers.

Dolphins are straight ass. South Park curse strikes again

The New York Jets were grounded in Pittsburgh. Blitz24 and kjb's Jets left the Steel City failing 37-15. The Jets are now 2-5 and have lost four straight games. The Steelers are now 5-2.

I don't usually do these posts early, but I will this time since it is Monday for me now. So...

Ravens at Buccaneers and Chargers at Cardinals, both TONIGHT!

The National Football League decided to treat you to TWO Monday Night Football games. Are you ready for some football? Let's talk about these upcoming games:

--- GAME 1 INFORMATION ---
Tampa Bay plays host to two 4-2 teams in an inter-conference match.
  • BAL Ravens (4-2, 2nd in the AFC North) at TB Buccaneers (4-2, 1st in the NFC South)
  • FAVORED: BAL (-3.5)
  • OVER/UNDER: 50.5 points

--- GAME 2 INFORMATION ---
AFC West meets NFC West in the Grand Canyon State.
  • LAC Chargers (3-2, 2nd in the AFC West) at ARI Cardinals (2-4, 3rd in the NFC West)
  • FAVORED: LAC (-1.5)
  • OVER/UNDER: 44.5 points

From 0-2 start to four straight wins, the Baltimore Ravens will try to make it five straight wins when they play at the Florida team with the best record so far this season- the also 4-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Los Angeles Chargers will try to bolt up when they play at the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are the only team playing this Monday Night that has a losing record.

Enjoy Monday Night Football this Monday night!

I’d like to thank the Broncos and Bears for dumping Wilson/Fields and giving my Steelers a couple of capable QBs. It’s been an age since we’ve had even one.

Last night:

  • 41-20, BAL wins at TB
  • 17-15, ARI wins vs. LAC

This is now Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season. As we near the halfway point of the season, here are some of the many games coming up to highlight this week:

* Inglewood, CA is home to this week's Thursday Night Football game, as the Los Angeles Rams host the previously undefeated Minnesota Vikings.

* Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals are trending upwards after having won the past few games. Let's see if they can continue on the upswing when the Philadelphia Eagles visit Cincinnati...

* The AFC South lead is potentially on the line when the Houston Texans host the Indianapolis Colts. Houston is coming off of having their three-game winning streak snapped on a game-winning field goal at Green Bay.

* Joey D's Detroit Lions will host the Tennessee Titans. The Titans seem all but out of the AFC South race currently, and the Lions want to further express the awesomeness of the NFC North this season.

* The Arizona Cardinals will venture well east to meet Omnis's Miami Dolphins.

* Blitz24 and kjb's New York Jets will jet their way into the greater Boston area to take on the New England Patriots in an AFC East showdown.

* The Carolina Panthers have struggled all season long. They hope to return to Charlotte with a win over the Denver Broncos. The Panthers could face an uphill battle in this one, and not just because of elevation.

* The Las Vegas Raiders hope to finally defeat the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs with this AFC West match in the Las Vegas area.

* The Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders have done pretty well this season. The two clash in Landover, MD in the later Sunday games.

* Sunday Night Football is a match of Dak Prescott vs. Brock Purdy. It's an east-meets-west NFC battle as the Dallas Cowboys play at the San Francisco 49ers.

* Monday Night Football this week involves Jump_Ace's New York Giants at Fezzik's Pittsburgh Steelers. Yep, another inner-forum rivalry game.

Other games are to be played, but I wanted to make light to these matches. No teams have a Bye Week this week. Enjoy Week 8!

This is annoying. Steelers on MNF, Yankees playing World Series game 3. At the same time, on a weeknight starting at 1am here in the UK. Apologies to my boss for the zombie he'll find in the office on Tuesday.

It is the major issue with being a UK based NFL fan. Although I'm off work this week so I can stay up on Thursday night to watch the Rams which kicks off at 1:15am on Friday morning!

NFL's not so bad normally. We don't play much in primetime so it's usually the 6pm/9pm starts. Looking ahead we've only got one more this season, a Browns game on TNF, unless we get flexed at some point. A game on Christmas Day as well, on Netflix for some reason.

It's a weird schedule, all our divisional games come in the last 8 weeks.

You want NFL football so badly? Well, be careful what you wish for... you might get it. In fact, we have the previously-unbeaten Minnesota Vikings at the Los Angeles Rams. The Vikes will have a chance to further hammer in the awesomeness of the NFC North should they win tonight's contest.

Enjoy tonight's game!

The Los Angeles Rams won 30-20 against the Minnesota Vikings. So after Minnesota started with six straight wins, it's now back-to-back losses. More action to come Sunday.

That was a brilliant result. It made such a difference getting both Kupp and Puka back.

We got away with it a bit at the end though with the facemask not being called.

That was a very bad missed call. What I am surprised about most with the Vikings is how their defense has been shredded the last 2 weeks. They looked impenetrable the 1st 5 games confounding a few good offenses but the last few games they look like the Carolina Panthers defense 🤣

The Lions hangover strikes again. I think every team that's lost to Detroit goes on to get blasted the followed week.

Well after the long holdout we see something I didn't think was going to happen ever Hassan Reddick will play on Sunday for the Jets. Not expecting much since it has been quite a few months since he last played

"Oh, baby... what a play!" "The kick is... good/no good!"

What calls will you be hearing when the NFL's teams all play today? Will it be your beloved teams making winning plays or falling short of victory? Anything can happen in sixty minutes of NFL Football (and overtime if needed).

Enjoy today's games, including the nightcap of Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers! Let us know how your team(s) did not only today, but how they've been so far this season if you wish.

Didn't matter. Jets every week forget something. This week they forgot how to kick the ball and left 4 points on the board. Then, when they scored a TD late, managed a delay of game on a 2 point conversion that they KNEW they had to attempt. I'd feel bad for any college player forced to go to this team with a Jerry Jones-like owner, a QB who cannot be coached and a dysfunctional team.

Okay the Jets are done. Time to look forward to the draft. It's time to pack up all my hopes for this season 🤷‍♂️

Maybe bench Rodgers or cut him to let him find a team he can "win the SB" with.

The Houston Texans won against the Indianapolis Colts today 23-20. This game was pretty weird, especially in the 2nd half. Part of the 2nd Quarter was a defensive struggle with a lot of punts. Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis' starting QB, had a horrid stat line at halftime- 2 for 15 on pass attempts. It was the worst half for any QB since 1991. They also didn't convert a 3rd Down until about 10:00 left in the 4th Quarter (was 0 for 9 at that point). Anyhow, the Texans get the tie breaker should HOU and IND be tied at the end of the season.

UP NEXT: at NYJ Jets (THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL)

Actually, up next are three straight Prime Time games. Thursday Night Football at the Jets, Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions, and Monday Night Football at the Cowboys. Time to see if the Texans are ready for Prime Time.

So uh, Blitz24 and kjb? Looks like we go trick-or-treating this Halloween up in East Rutherford next. I'm skeptical, but hopeful the Texans leave the shadow of New York City with a win. We'll see what happens this coming Thursday.

Congratulations to all other winners from this week! What did your boys do today?

If the Texans do NOT win, and win by a lot over the Jets it will be a disappointment.

@JohnBM01 No need for skepticism the Jets are beyond a train wreck, they are something akin to tornado in hurricane during tsunami. They are playing out the string and proving that Saleh wasn't the problem.

Well, he might have been A problem. Just like Hackett might have been A problem. The problem is the person lining up behind the center and snapping the ball.

Saleh was definitely part of the problem not main problem. I think when they Rodgers miss mandatory OTAs w/o no repercussions it set a tone for the season. They showed that Rodgers was above reproach. I didn't like how he threw Mike Williams under the bus saying he ran the wrong route when everyone could see he under threw the ball. At this moment last year the Jets had a better record with Zach Wilson!!! TLDR I agree with you @Blitz24 Rodgers is the problem
