I'm tired of the Chiefs winning, especially last minute or luck. Let's just not talk about the Giants game season

At least the Lions made it through the easiest part of their schedule without issue. The Bears on Thanksgiving will be tough because we struggle on Thanksgiving. The Packers are good. We play the Bears in Chicago in the middle of winter and we still have to take on the Vikings again. The 49ers shouldn't be too bad though. The toughest game by a mile though is against the Bills.

Not sure whether this is by design, or no one down field is getting open, or Bryce Young is just completely gun shy. Not one pass attempt over 12 yards.

On the bright side at least they only lost by 20 this week....

This is not the same guy from the start of the year. Even his profile picture is happier.

Think everyone is sick of KC but at least they were kept honest today. And commiserations on the Giants. I know the feeling you guys are going thru, all too well.

Ravens at Chargers TONIGHT!

It's the Harbaugh Bowl! Or the Har-Bowl! John (BAL) vs. Jim (LAC). Let me set this up for you all...

--- GAME INFORMATION ---
The Harbaugh brothers coach against each other as the AFC is in vogue in Inglewood, California.
  • BAL Ravens (7-4, 2nd in AFC North) at LAC Chargers (7-3, 2nd in AFC West)
  • FAVORED: BAL (-2.5)
  • OVER/UNDER: 50.5 points

We have two teams with winning records and second in their respective divisions. Suffice to say, this match should be more appealing than last week's Monday Night game between the Houston Texans at the Dallas Cowboys. Two likely playoff teams will clash in this match. Who knows? Maybe this will be a future Playoffs match this postseason.

Enjoy tonight's game!

I think tonight's game could be epic, looking forward to it for sure.

I have to say it was nice seeing the Jets not dominate the back pages the last few days. It helps when your fellow tenant is just as messed up as you are. That game was brutal yesterday. I thought Daboll & Schoen might make to next season. Now I am not so sure.

The Giants and the Jets seem to have gotten a different objective for the 2024 NFL Season: competing to win the most incompetent franchise in the NFL.

Yes, but who is winning?

We all know the answer to that... It's the Jets. Think about on my Jets Twitter feed and elsewhere there are a lot of Jets fans wanting to bring back Rex Ryan. While I liked when Rex was the coach and I always feel like you don't bring back your ex because after a while you start to remember why you broke up in the first place.I know he is campaigning but I would really like to see Woody Johnson hire a football man like Dolan did with Leon Rose and let him run the whole thing. Just sign the checks Woody. But that probably won't happen and the Jets will hire Rex then a GM because Woody Johnson will try to appease the fanbase instead of making good football decisions. Unfortunately good football decisions and Woody Johnson are very early heard or written in the same sentences.

The latest "Harbaugh Bowl" went the way of the Baltimore Ravens (John's way), winning 30-23 at the Los Angeles Rams. Baltimore has now won five straight Monday Night Football games, tied for a team record.

Before I discuss this week, I want to update the standings. How is every team doing so far? Find out here:

--- STANDINGS UPDATE (as of: November 26, 2024) ---
AFC EAST: Buffalo (9-2), MIA (5-6), NYJ (3-8), NE (3-9)
AFC NORTH: Pittsburgh (8-3), BAL (8-4), CIN (4-7), CLE (3-8)
AFC SOUTH: Houston (7-5), IND (5-7), TEN (3-8), JAX (2-9)
AFC WEST: Kansas City (10-1), LAC (7-4), DEN (7-5), LV (2-9)

NFC EAST: Philadelphia (9-2), WSH (7-5), DAL (4-7), NYG (2-9)
NFC NORTH: Detroit (10-1), MIN (9-2), GB (8-3), CHI (4-7)
NFC SOUTH: Atlanta (6-5), TB (5-6), NO (4-7), CAR (3-8)
NFC WEST: Seattle and Arizona (6-5 each), LAR and SF (5-6 each)

No teams have clinched Playoff spots yet, nor has any team been officially eliminated yet. So there is still plenty of time for all of these NFL teams to make a postseason push now that we're deeper into the season.

Week 13 continues an NFL tradition- football on Thanksgiving. In recent times, a somewhat newer deal is also part of this week- Black Friday football. We say goodbye to November and enter December. Are you ready for the ride? If not, let me get you ready...

* This is your Thanksgiving football schedule. Joey D's Detroit Lions host the Chicago Bears in an NFC North showdown. Next up is a trip to Arlington, TX; as the Dallas Cowboys will tussle with Jump_Ace's New York Giants. And in the nightcap, Omnis' Miami Dolphins will depart from sunny and warm Florida and going to the Frozen Tundra to meet the Green Bay Packers.

* Black Friday shopping can be chaotic. Things may get chaotic in Kansas City when the 1st-place AFC West Kansas City Chiefs take on the last-place AFC West Las Vegas Raiders. Could it be a black... and silver Black Friday?

* Pittsburgh got upset on Thursday Night Football at the Cleveland Browns last week. This game was seen as a Trap Game for Pittsburgh. Now after failing to one Ohio NFL team, the Steelers will be at the other Ohio NFL team- Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals.

* A cross-country flight is in order as the Seattle Seahawks travel all the way to East Rutherford, NY to meet Blitz24 and kjb's New York Jets.

* The Houston Texans may be a sinking ship as expectations have gotten the better of them. The Texans will try to survive at the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday to prevent further damage to their season in this AFC South showdown.

* From the AFC South to the NFC South, the Carolina Panthers' lovely stadium will play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Carolina is thinking upset.

* That Billie Eilish song about Birds of a Feather is rather overplayed in Facebook stories and TikToks. However, "birds of different feathers" describes this upcoming match as the Philadelphia Eagles head down to Baltimore to take on the Baltimore Ravens. Which birds will prevail in this one?

* Sunday Night Football this week involves the San Francisco 49ers at the Buffalo Bills.

* Monday Night Football this week involves the Cleveland Browns going a Mile High to meet the Denver Broncos. Both teams are in the lower half of their respective division standings.

That's all. Get psyched up for the new week! Enjoy this week's games!

Remember some guy named Daniel Jones? Well, the former Giants quarterback is now with the Minnesota Vikings as a backup QB. I hope all works well for Daniel Jones with his new team.

Happy Thanksgiving, America! Enjoy food, football, and remembering what you are most thankful for! Remember we have three games on today.

Eberflus will get fired....out of a cannon into the sun, right? The Lions should've lost that game. They played with zero fire and looked lackluster all game.

Two things from today.

1) The Bears lost more than the Lions won...I think. Would have Santos made that kick, maybe but it would've been what 57+? Not a lock to go into overtime. But what I don't understand at all is the Bears coach's reasoning as to why they didn't call timeout in the after game presser.

2) "IF" the Cowgirls didn't get that pick 6 the game would have been tooth and nail. Why Lock wasn't considered over DeVito is beyond me, the coaches see the QB2 take reps from time to time, yeah? Yet they wasted last week's game hoping for the same 'spark' from DeVito. I get the reasoning, but let the reps speak for themselves. I know what you're thinking, the O line is hot garbage and any QB would suffer, but I think Lock did better than any game from a NYG QB this year. And who put together that O Line? Joe 'Frat Boy' Schoen to get fired like, yesterday. I wish I had like 50 Bills to buy the Giants from Mara and Tisch, they are too complacent and chill imo. If I were the owner, I would just say that I wouldn't sleep if Saquon went to Philly, I would have said nope, we aren't paying DJ 40mil a year. Rant over

Once again, Black Friday plays host to an NFL game. This time, it's the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Las Vegas Raiders. Can the Raiders make it a Black... and Silver Friday? The game will be on Amazon Prime. Enjoy today's game!

Santos would not have made that kick. Or the Lions would've blocked it for sure. I don't know how the Bears manage to have such a terrible kicker.

Also my favorite stat from the game:

He should have called that timeout to prevent himself from getting fired.
This guy stole my joke! My brother in law were just looking at each other shocked after the final play was done and couldn't believe they snapped the ball.

We have our first "IN!" team for this 2024 NFL Season! By virtue of the wild finish between Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs, KC won 19-17 and becomes the first team since the 2019 Saints to clinch a Playoff berth in November. KC is now 11-1 on the season. Everybody in Kansas City, MO was plenty happy, including one Taylor Alison Swift.

Anyhow, your "IN!" playoff list as of tonight:
