In vogue tonight is the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys try to rebound after back-to-back fails to New Orleans and Baltimore. They hope winning at the New York Giants will get them back into winning graces. Or... will Jump_Ace's New York Giants further compound Dallas' conundrum? Find out tonight!

Enjoy tonight's game!

Are you saying the Jags will be competing with us and Carolina for the #1 overall pick?

Jerome
Jags are in the running for the 1st pick. Carolina is going to 5-6 games and the Giants are going 6-7 games 🤣 . If they have watched Dallas play they should win because Dallas's run defense has been atrocious

I'm happy it was a close game last night. Buuut, that face mask penalty against us was one of the most egregious calls I've ever witnessed. The ref who saw the penalty told the main ref it was against the defense and the main ref pointed in that direction with his thumb to confirm. He then has a mental lapse (I get it, I'm not perfect either) and points toward the offense. Absurd!

So we now got backed up to the 35 instead of 1st and 10 at the 10. Now, Dallas kept us out of the endzone all night, so let's say we make an easy field goal. At the end of the game it was 20-15 with like 30 seconds left, if that call was done right it would've been 20-18. Instead of having to score a TD we would have just needed 15 yards for a FG. We might have actually won that game.

And add to the fact that we didn't have a kicker against Wash, and we could be 3-1 realistically, imo. Probably the worst 3-1 team in the league, but hey.

Jerome

I thought the Giants had a chance to win last night but it's hard to win when you don't score TDs. Dallas defense actually played well last night and for the most part the Giants defense played well. Danny Dimes was efficient but there were no splash plays. They should've done everything in their power to keep Barkley IMO.

The refs botching a call in favor of the Cowgirls?

shocked philip j fry GIF

The refs seem to have a lot of mental lapses when it comes to Dallas too. Not that I'm still salty about Decker reporting as eligible.

Last night, it was 20-15, Dallas winning at the New York Giants. I was watching most of this game on Twitch. The Next Gen Stats were rather interesting to watch. Kind of like high-end coverage for sports nerds. There were a lot of penalties in this one, too. Almost as bad as the third quarter of Bears at Texans earlier this season.

Well, get ready for the Sunday games and the Monday Night games still to come...

I think/hope Joe Shoen gets canned. If it came down to picking Brian Burns or Barkley for example, Barkley all the way. What, he didn't want to pay another couple mil to keep him? There was zero other reason to do so, he wasn't a premadonna, no trouble with the law, no lawsuits....squeaky clean. You hold on to guys like that, especially when they ARE you offense.

Jerome

I think the don't pay rbs thing is stupid. Especially elite running backs like Barkley. Also he did a lot in the community and didn't give the team any headaches. Isn't that what a team wants?

Ayep!

I wonder what Jerry Reece is up to....lol

How will the NFL end September 2024? The remaining games for this week will play themselves out today, tonight, and tomorrow night. Granted your team(s) haven't played yet, hopefully your favorite team(s) win. Don't forget tonight's nightcap involves the Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens. This might become an AFC Playoffs match. You may never know...

Enjoy today's games!

The Houston Texans played very sloppy in this match against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The game ended in favor of the Texans 24-20. MANY penalties on the Texans were called. These penalties were almost the Texans' undoing. However, they finally focused and kept the Jacksonville Jaguars winless. Nine straight losses for Trevor Lawrence as QB now. We didn't have Joe Mixon or Tank Dell to give us a lift offensively for this game. We still had just enough to win. Houston now is 7-1 after a loss under DeMeco Ryans.

Up next: BUF Bills at HOU Texans

Jacksonville remains winless, but the Houston Texans face a tougher task next Sunday at Noon. The Buffalo Bills visit H-Town in hopes of taking down the Texans.

Congratulations to all other winners from this week! Better luck next time if your team(s) lost. How did your boys do this week?

The first Bengals game I don't see, they win. Maybe if I don't watch, they'll continue winning?
Huh, I've only been listening to Panthers games on my phone and when they appear on TV (which isn't going to be much this year lol), because I ain't paying good money for Game Pass to watch them in their current state. Maybe I should actually get it though. The opposite might work. 🤔😅

Buffalo got run'd over at Baltimore. Like, 35-10 tonight in Baltimore. The Buffalo Bills visit my Houston Texans next week. The Baltimore Ravens, meanwhile, have an AFC North match at Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals in two weeks time.

Probably not. They are really bad. It was funny last week after they won folks were calling into the radio shows here Raleigh saying they thought they might make the playoffs because they had the Red Rifle starting. Or maybe they found their QB and don’t need to draft one for a couple years. And while bunch of other crazy nonsense.
Then my Jets morphed into the Zach Wilson Jets of 2023. How do you extra days and put out such putrid mess? It looked they knew what Hackett was going to do 🤔 Too many penalties I’m starting to be down on Saleh because this happens waaaay too often

Saleh is gone after this season if the Jets don't get into the playoffs.

He needs to be. I like Saleh but he keeps making the same mistakes. I thought they did a good job navigating the 1st 3 games but for them lose a game the way they against a lesser team is bad

Titans at Dolphins and Seahawks at Lions, both TONIGHT!

To end the September part of the 2024 NFL schedule, we have two Monday Night Football games surely interesting two GTPlanteers. Let me set these up for you...

--- GAME INFORMATION 1 ---
AFC is in vogue as Tennessee Titans visit Miami.
  • TEN Titans (0-3, 3rd in AFC South) at MIA Dolphins (1-2, 3rd in AFC East)
  • FAVORED: MIA (-2.5)
  • OVER/UNDER: 37.5 pts.

--- GAME INFORMATION 2 ---
NFC is in vogue as Detroit hosts a flock of birds from the Pacific Northwest.
  • SEA Seahawks (3-0, 1st in the NFC West) at DET Lions (2-1, 2nd in the NFC North)
  • FAVORED: DET (-4)
  • OVER/UNDER: 46.5 pts.

Nothing like a little prime time pressure, eh, Omnis and Joey D? Hopefully Omnis's Dolphins and Joey D's Lions put on a great show and win their respective games. Those of you with Fantasy Teams or some other interest in either or both of these games surely want to see how everyone performs tonight.

Enjoy tonight's games!

Seahawks V Lions possible Divisional round playoff game? I think that game will be great tonight.

Jayden Daniels is the new Stroud? He is looking good, which I of course hate

Jerome

Are there going to be two games on Monday night for the rest of the year? I know in seasons past it was maybe for the first week or two.

I understand maybe not drafting another QB this time around because it's only going to be a repeat of the last few years and while they have looked better with Dalton starting. Playoffs? Wow, talk about being optimistic. I'd be happy if they won like 4 games.
Lions are debuting their black uniforms tonight too. I really hope they aren't cursed.

Kinda of wish the Lions would rock the blue helmets all season. It looks so cool.

I think its just a couple other random times this season like week 8 and 15 or something. I'm not really a fan of it because if they put a great game alongside the Giants game, I'd have to 'suffer' and do split screen on the tv. FWP I know

To be fair, any game alongside the Giants game would probably be a great game.

It was 31-12 in Miami as the Tennessee Titans defeated the Miami Dolphins for their first win of the 2024 season. It was 42-29 in Detroit as Detroit dominated the Seattle Seahawks. Detroit a no-fly zone for those Seahawks from the Emerald City.

If I may be honest, Joey D, those black and blue Detroit Lions uniforms are SWEET! I hear for the Texans, they'll debut their new H-Town uniforms against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday at Noon.

I'm frankly digusted with the Dolphins. They have been pathetic. They look like a preseason team. Nobody knows what they're doing. It's one thing to lose because another team is better, but it's another to lose because you're totally inept. This team could easily go 1-15. Done with football this season.

St Brown has more TD passes than Bryce Young this season. Jared Goff has more TD catches than Travis Kelce.

Also, with a minimum of 15 passes, Goff is the first QB in NFL history to have a perfect completion percentage. Kurt Warner did it in 2005 with ten passes.

Oh, and we haven't beaten the Seahawks since 2012.

Welcome to October! Just about all teams have settled in and made their early impressions throughout September. Here are the standings as they stand. Find your favorite team(s):

--- AFC STANDINGS ---
AFC EAST: Buffalo (3-1), NYJ (2-2), NE and MIA (1-3 each)
AFC NORTH: Pittsburgh (3-1), BAL (2-2), CLE and CIN (1-3 each)
AFC SOUTH: Houston (3-1), IND (2-2), TEN (1-3), JAX (0-4)
AFC WEST: Kansas City (4-0), LAC, LV, and DEN (2-2 each)

--- NFC STANDINGS ---
NFC EAST: Washington (3-1), DAL and PHI (2-2 each), NYG (1-3)
NFC NORTH: Minnesota (4-0), DET (3-1), GB and CHI (2-2 each)
NFC SOUTH: Tampa Bay (3-1), ATL and NO (2-2 each), CAR (1-3)
NFC WEST: Seattle (3-1), SF (2-2), ARI and LAR (1-3 each)

There is still a lot of season to be played. Nobody clinched anything, be it a Playoffs berth or the top NFL Draft pick. Any winning team can still falter. Any losing team can rise up and all of a sudden be contenders. So don't fret too much at this point.

Welcome to Week 5! Having said that, not all action this week can be enjoyed in the United States. In fact, the United Kingdom has an NFL game to be played. I'll provide some previews just to hype up this week. And here goes...

* The NFC South is in vogue and on display when the Division-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers go up to the Atlanta Falcons for Thursday Night Football.

* Blitz24's and kjb's New York Jets will try to hand the Minnesota Vikings their first loss of the season when these two meet at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, UK. It's Matchday on the pitch... with a different kind of football!

* The undisciplined, penalty-ridden Houston Texans face a huge challenge when they host the Buffalo Bills. The Texans will try to limit the penalties and execute against a very solid Buffalo Bills squad.

* The Carolina Panthers will hit up the Midwest to take on the Chicago Bears.

* The Baltimore Ravens enter an AFC North battle when they visit Dolph Drago's Cincinnati Bengals.

* After a vicious defeat at home to Tennessee, Omnis' Miami Dolphins engage in an AFC East showdown at the New England Patriots.

* The somewhat hot Indianapolis Colts will try to stay hot when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville, meanwhile, look to finally get their first win of the season. Jacksonville is the only remaining winless team so far this season.

* East meets West as Jump Ace's New York Giants travel from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast in meeting the Seattle Seahawks.

* Sunday Night Football this week has the Dallas Cowboys trying to "steel" a win at Fezzik's Pittsburgh Steelers.

* Monday Night Football this week is a one-game deal this time. It's the New Orleans Saints trying to hand the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season up in Kansas City. Mark your Bingo cards for any Taylor Swift sightings or any other common things for this game.

** BYE WEEK: Detroit, Tennessee, Philadelphia, Los Angeles Chargers

There are more games than what I mentioned here. Otherwise, enjoy this week's games!

I think right now the Dolphins problem is McDaniels. He has to realize that Tua is not playing and cater to the strengths of whoever the QB is. LeFluer showed how that was done with how he catered his game plan to Malik Willis. If the Dolphins are going to do anything he is going to have to change.
Right now I am a little down on the Jets. TBH I thought Zach Wilson was playing in Rodgers place surely he was calling the plays for them 🤣 Now they take part in revenge Bowl 2 against Sam Darnold. The O line was offensive and the defense played well enough to win in that they only gave up 10 points but the offense only scored 9. In most places that will lose you the game. 2 good defenses so it will come down to the QB play. Based on history you would have to pick Rodgers but based on this year you have to say Darnold is playing much better than Rodgers ( never thought I would say that) But we'll see what happens on Sunday
