It's an incredibly bad idea to do so, but you can put it on your helmet (because mesodermal tissue) - and if Ickle Donnie J hasn't tried to American Pie a brick of coke, I'm Anne Hathaway.

I'm super curious but also absolutely convinced I'll wish I hadn't asked.
Well, there's several really excellent reasons, and two quite opposite results.

Firstly, prolonged coke use can result in vascular damage and cause floppydong syndrome. However if it's already... prepared for action, the vasoconstrictive effects of coke can cause it to remain so long after it would be useful. Long after. Incredibly long after.

So long in fact it can actually result in necrosis and gangrene due to cutting off the circulation to it.

That applies to coke use in general, but placing it directly on the helmet is a great way to make that happen much sooner.

You're telling me the cliché coke use case is actually one of the worst use cases? I feel as though I've been lied to by pop culture.

For black conservatives? I'm guessing they're going to rally behind Tim Scott. The problem with Scott though is that I can't foresee the racist wing of the Republican party voting for him.

Trump seems like the only choice for Republicans at the moment since all the others don't have name recognition or a snowball's chance in hell at winning. Mike Pence could be the candidate, but I can't see Trumpers voting for him since, you know, they wanted to lynch him in front of the Capitol Building.

Absolutely hilarious to me that Tim Scott has been attacked as "basically Kamala Harris" over criticism of the curriculum. I mean actually hilarious. The bitch deserves it, not least for attacking legislative proposals to condition police funding on reforms for accountability as "defunding the police." Bad faith actors deserve attacks from bad faith actors.

So Trump will be their main candidate? Their as in Republican.
I would guess that most black Republicans will be in the south (I could be wrong) so this was an overwhelmingly stupid misstep by the DeSantis campaign, because I think his best chance was to do well in the south...as a southern governor and all.

One of his lawyers must have finally talked some sort of sense into him, as it was reported earlier they were very much against him holding such a thing.

Guy would've probably immediately incriminated himself with inadvertently admitting something.

The good thing is that there's a not-so-insignificant number of Republicans who are incredibly racist. There's no way Bubba T. Redneck from the backwoods of Mississippi would ever think about casting a vote for a brown guy with a name they can't pronounce. So even if he does win the nomination, he'd going to struggle to convince a portion of his base that he's not like other brown people.

Problem is, they're so racist that they'll vote for a colored out of spite to show libruls that, see, we can post up people who don't deserve the position just as easily as you can. Hershel Walker in Georgia is probably the best example of late. They found a black guy who has done things but is also kind of an idiot and they believe Democrats have done the same thing which is why it makes sense to Republicans to put such a person into the ring. Of course, they also revolve around the idea of literally putting the candidate into the ring which is why it obviously had to be a big tough football Hall of Famer. Warnock is a nerd, he's not even the cool type of black guy, so our cool, strong, accomplished black guy will surely beat Warnock in a competition. And I can only imagine that it's some sort of stockholm syndrome that makes these people okay with being abused like this.

There are so many parallels between these types of political decisions and the latest Michael Oher news, for example. Despite being a genuine talent and legitimately accomplished, he was portrayed as an idiot and white America fell in love with his story of salvation and can't fathom that any sort of wrongdoing was involved.

So I read that as "people who aren't going to vote would vote for Trump if they were going to vote in the first place." Which OK, cool? At least Trump can win the apathetic vote.

A more pertinent question might've been "If the Democrats fielded a different candidate for pres, would you vote for him/her or Trump?".

One of the last remaining conservatives who isn't completely insane is done in '24

I don't know how much pull he'd have, but having a sane conservative throw their hat into the ring for president wouldn't be the worse thing.

Except for his physical and mental wellbeing as he becomes the most hated man in Utah and the Republican Party. You said it yourself... he's not insane.
