This would actually be such a tragedy, and extremely embarrassing for every party involved. Imagine if Yuki also falls at the first hurdle, then what? Hard to remember the team that just consistently showed up and won everything for 3 years straight.

Ironically if the Rumors of RB courting Colapinto are true and this whole exchange happens, Red Bull may have unintentionally saved Jack Doohan's career (A sentence AND scenario I didn't think would be possible but we live in a world of chaos at the moment so..).

What makes it worse is how little time these guys even get. Lawson, just by being an on-call substitute, has gotten more seat In F1 then most of the Red Bull Juniors and it STILL wasn't enough time. Yuki is by far the most experienced but gets passed for..some reason. And what if Hadjar ends up plummeting? The next nearest guy they have isn't even old enough. And then what?

They just keep making these decisions that just gradually make the crater bigger and now that the competition HAS caught up, its making them look even worse. Its only been 2 races but at this point, 2025 feels like its gonna be the biggest slap to Red Bull's face. They've have a faulty car that was mostly masked by how quick it was and how Max just simply drove over the issues but the moment Mclaren figured it out last year, its exposed them and so far it looks like even Max despite finishing in the points will not be enough.

Now it truly seems Yuki and Lawson are swapping places at Suzuka as far too many places are reporting it, even Canal+ and I don't find them to be the type of publication to jump on a story simply for the sake of clicks.

I‘m not surprised. On the one hand I‘m glad Yuki gets the chance since he has a lot of potential but I can‘t help but wonder if that second seat at RB is cursed (i.e. considering Alex Albon’s statement how difficult the RB21 is to drive) and he‘ll eventually get burned as well.

Man, I wished Yuki had another option. This dude has been sidelined for far too long by Red Bull and I can't help but feel like this will be another F1 career chewed up and spat out. If it was possible, I wished he could have just work for his options to go elsewhere that will give him a shot. If Yuki fails at Red Bull too, his F1 career is over.
