What's interesting is that Speed has temporarily put the race back on TV, and the said that the Risi team thinks the Corvettes are "cruising." If that's the case, it'll make the race more interesting.

If that's the pace they call cruising, then these Corvettes are going to be ahead by a significant margin when they pick up and get in front.:mischievous:

The American horsepower gets the Ferrari but here comes the Rizi car again

Truly Epic, this is why I think GT racing is the best in the world.👍

If anything, the Prototypes are getting in the way of them!.;)

Wow the #64 must be cruising because the #63 just set the fastest lap for GT2 at a 3:58.3 which is a whole second faster then the fastest GT2 qual time.

So I return from a dinner party only to discover the two teams I was cheering for have retired from the race, and a Peugeot is also out of the race... What a blow :(

No Flying Lizard, no flying Belgians in GT1. Man this is not what I was looking forward to :(

Portuguese commentators just had Lamy on the phone. He started to feel a strange vibration during his last stint, nothing serious apparently, so decided to see it through to the end of it, nursing the car as he did from the start. But it didn't hold, and when he made it to the pits, it was clear there was nothing that could be done, because what failed was on one of the achor points of the suspension.

I think that even if he had stopped earlier, nothing could have been done. But surely he did not drive the #3 on a flat tire too fast as some said on TV.

Sorry, Bram. Look on the bright side, you've got another 17 hours of racing and an epic battle in GT2, with American Muscle vs. Italian Flair.

The GT2 class is not the same without the Flying Lizard guys, though. Say to anyone "GT2" and the first two things that come in mind is Flying Lizard vs. Risi.

Oh well, at least the Peugeots are still leading the whole thing, and one of those Astons need to get in position 3 NOW.

Yeah, not wishing any ill health but we kinda need something to happen to the 908s at the front to make this interesting for LMP1. The only decent thing keeping me awake right now is the battle in the GT2 category

Are you hoping that JLOC will call godzilla to take out the rest of the field? :sly:

Well that all depends if they told the delivery guy to bring him on French or Japanese time.;)

But seriously, there's 16 hours left so they're not 'definitely' last yet.
