Your just mad your losing to a country that doesn't even know we have a soccer team :sly:

Lmao! Not particularly, I'm no huge football fan anyway :P I almost wanted England to loose by the end, they were so rubbish. Congrats to the USA, as you say I'm surprised they didn't start picking the ball up and throwing it down the field ;)

I jest. Any updates on what is up on the Peugeot?

you mean you cant pick the ball up?

The SpeedTV guys think it might be electrical seeing as the mechanics are working in the cockpit.

Anything can still happen, come on AMR! All the other teams I support/ed have no chance (RML, Young Driver AMR, JMW).

Can someone explain to me how that Risi ferrari could go from the back of the pack to the front, but can't pull away from 64 vette? Or why the 64 vette didn't keep its lead?

Same, I'm behind Aston Martin Racing now, have been for the whole race...my only other choice in LMP1 crashed about 20 minutes into the race, poor Nige :(

Man the GT1 leader is almost becoming a 3rd member of the GT2 battle. Fascinating stuff. Now problems for Risi...advantage Corvette for now?

I'll explain that to you:

They are the best endurance racing team.

Simple as that. Risi are just in a class of their own when it comes to endurance racing. They just have that edge over the competition that makes them run at the front every endurance race. Amazing stuff they have done so far I might add 👍

But why can't they pull away, to me it seems if they can catch up so fast they should have been able to pull away at the same speed.

I would have to say Corvette would be in that class with them. they didn't dominate GT1 for so many years the same way Risi has in GT2 for nothing. My guess is that the Vettes where just cruising until the Risi caught up then both teams ended up going flat out once they were fighting for the lead which explains why the Risi couldn't pull away. Though the Risi group thinks that the Vettes where still holding back even during the close battles.

And wait until next year when they get their hands on the F458, the 911 GT2 had better be a blindingly good car to stand a chance.

Although it's Chevrolet entering Risi's territory. But you are right, the Corvettes are doing really good so far.

Oh, and I really want to e-mail the current commentator at RLM to stop saying "Puuuugeot" :ouch:

This. I can't wait to see that car. But then again, there are regulations to follow so the gap between Risi and the others will probably be smaller than you might expect form such a new machine in the beginning phases. But when Risi have done a heap of mileage on it, boy that thing will tear up the GT class!

Because the art of Endurance Racing is to win in the slowest time or pace that you can. Do anything else and you end up in the pits fixing the car for lap after lap.

I've been watching the onboard coverage of the Audi and Peugeot streams and I so need that in GT5. :ouch:

That is what I was thinking, but I just wanted to get other opinions. Its almost a moot point now though with it in the pits for so long.

I'd agree with that. I don't think the Risi team is as all-conquering as Bram suggests, although they are a fantastic GT2 team. Especially now that SPEED has flashed up on the screen their endurance race record in the last few years. They are like the Audi LMP team - one of the very best, but not completly invincible.

The Vettes were doing what they needed to do, then the Risi came up and started attacking, so they decided to switch strategy and go all-out versus the Risi. Now they can switch back to cruise, right? or is the Felbermayr Proton Porsche attacking them?

The F458 is taking an age to get ready for GT racing, it makes you wonder if Ferrari have seen the regulations for 2011 and abandaned the 2010 design.

No Grenade, the manufacturers decided to delay the new GT2 rules till at least 2012, they said there's no point as there are already so many people that have just built/ or have competitive cars.
