My parents will never give me permission to play 24h in one sitting + we have also one tv so they have to miss it one evening. The only thing I can maybe do is that b spec. 8 hours instead of 24.

An other problem is when you play it with some friend.

1) Your friends have to want to do it aswell
2) They have to be good aswell (or I as good as them)
3) The parents of your friends have to like it
4) The most important thing then --> When you game it with your friends, lets say 3 people, you have to play it 3 times, or offcourse you can copy your memory card but then you got all 3 the same games. So the only solution is to do that as the first thing you do in the game when having still 0 or 1 % but that is diffucult.

So the race itself isn't maybe really hard but the organisation around is!

Well that's not possible because the Endurance Hall isn't unlocked until you reach 25% :( Not to mention that you wouldn't have a decent car that could compete.

That decent car isn't maybe the problem. You get good cars from the licenses or with that money cheat (I call it a cheat) from GT3 you can buy something good I think.

Hey Liquid Li0n, you are almost 22 year old, for crying out loud :D Grow some... testicles and be the man you are supposed to be ;) j/k (no offense, just a joke, seriously :D)

I agree with what you said, though... It takes a lot of organization, whether you want to do it with friends or by yourself.

Personally, I would do it by myself... So I can organize it however/whenever I feel more confortable with doing it and whenever I have a spare weekend with no college work to do.

That's some bad news, moosejaw :indiff: Not only will I have to wait for when GT4 gets released, but also for the 25% mark... :( before I manage to be part of the elite Club... (which, more likely, by then won't be elite anymore, as 5 bizillion people will be already part of it :D) I'll have to be the first one to do the 300 laps 👍

The Wizard.

Your right wizard but my parents say that I'm just crazy and lazy when I play playstation for 2 hours so what are they going to say when I play it 8 hours or even 24hours!

What you say about waiting for that 25% mark, I think waiting wouldn't get you further. You have to race your @$$ off first till 25% :)

Sorry to disagree but I will be the first to reach 300 laps for the Nurb 24hrs race :)

Yeah, I agree. Mine would think the same thing... But there's no way for them to know, they are in Italy, I am here in the States, going to College, have my own apartment (with a couple of roommates, that always mind their own business). So perfect conditions to play however long I want 👍 :D

Yeah, I know that too... I'll have to race like a mad mofo to get to that 25% as quick as possible, because cjrciadt here ^^^ is threatening to get to 300 laps first :grumpy:
No way I am going to let him :D :sly:

hahaha,no no Wizard-san,the club will REMAIN elite :embarrassed:! Because I will be the deciding factor of who joins and who doesn't. Well..in other words..for all the people who have completed a 24-Hour race on A-Spec mode, they can join..depending on the circumstances (like,if they try to lie about things and..yeah..that just isn't happenin' :banghead: ) but I mean..not EVERYBODY,or as you said..5 bizillion people will be in the club by the time you do it Wizard-san ! I'm sure that somewhere over 60% actually won't even complete the endurance races in A-Spec Mode :P. If we speak of the States, then that's the percent that a little over 60% goes to,since the States mainly consist of lazy people or people that want to get things done the fastest and easiest way ! Well..for the majority anyways, hahaha. So,most people in States will probably complete endurance races (ESPECIALLY 24 hour ones) on B-Spec,rather than A-Spec,buuuut..that's just how I see it for now :embarrassed:

I really don't think that's going to happen...200-250 is possible, perhaps...but 300? I just don't really see it happenning.

If you drive a 6 minute lap on the Nurb (which is FAST AS HELL) then you'll only be able to complete roughly 240 laps.

So to you I say good luck.

and you talk about getting 6 minutes, but you would have to keep that consistency in order to get 300 laps,which..everybody messes up or pits and such..so the probability of getting 6 minutes that many times is...0.01%! The .01% chance is given to you just because you cut your game on,cause really..this impossible! Hohohohohoho :embarrassed:

lol, no kidding. It's fun to dream about though, lol.

there is no day to night changes,no weather changes,buuut...maybe the clouds move? I don't ever recall just sitting there..looking at the clouds, since I always just raced and never really stopped or did a Free Run to look :P. Maybe someone else can clear the cloud moving for us? Sorry I couldn't ^.^;

About that guy who does the first 300 laps will depend on the GMT time. It depends where you live and when the shop goes open to buy it and start playing like hell, get those 25% and start the 24H endurance race :)

I'm back!!!! Sorry my enthuisam got the better of me when I was "proclaiming" that I would be first to reach 300 laps. At six minutes per lap not including pit stops it would take 1800 minutes (not 24 hours=1440 minutes). It would mean mid five minute laps and low five minutes laps before pitting to even come close to 250!!!! I retract my I'll be first to 300 laps offer. 200 is reasonable for my first enduro, maybe 250 to 275 after experience of doing it 3 or 4 times in a year in a fully tweaked and tune Gt-One or Sauber C9 one can dream.

I would doubt even 275 is possible, as said befor youd need to average under 6 mins each lap to do it, in fact een if you consistently do every lap at 5 mins per lap you would still only manage 288 laps in 24 hours and thats at 5 mins dead each and every lap.

I hope your dream becomes reality one day. It will be pretty cool to have done 300 laps in one sitting on the ring. Maybe you will the first in the world with it

To hit 300 laps you'd need every lap to be at least 4 mins 48 seconds. Not too tough eh ;).

If you want 300 Laps in 24 hours, do either Le Mans race. You'll easily do 300+ there, especially on the unchicaned version because you won't have to slow down.

Ehm... cough cough... Why are people still wondering what type of time average they need to perform x many laps... Did you all skip my equations or are you all ignoring me on purpose here ;) :D

For the n-th time...

Lap time (in minutes) = 1440 / (number of laps you want to do)

So... like I said... 300 laps means you have to do 4'48.000 average a lap... Impossible? Not until I know how long it takes the fastest/best acceleration car in GT4 plus me driving it to run a lap on the 'Ring. Until then, I can keep dreaming :D

Anyway...
Guys/girls - please read the rest of the post, before asking/repeating/stating the same question/statement...
And this does not apply only to my posts... but also everybody else's... I think the question 'Is the time cycle reflected into GT4?' has been asked a couple of times here already ;)

The Wizard.

or we could stick with the good ol' "Hey,I'm gonna run 300 laps on the 'ring' :dopey:!",then say,"Wahahahahaha ! That's impossible "
