24 Hour race?! Let's discuss please XD

Well everyone,I just completed the 4 hour endurance race with my Roadster ! It was pretty fun..at least it was on Tsukuba ! That course is so easy to handle,hohohoho ! I know these screenshots look pretty bad this time,cause something is going on with my camera. If you know me on AIM,you can message me there and I can send you short clips of these in motion rather than blurry like this. I have 4-10 second recordings of the race results,the car I used,and the car I won. It looks a LOT better than these pictures. So if you know me on AIM (KenMatsamudo),then send me a message ! Because they are not even 2 MB big,so it won't take long to send,but I can't put them up here ;_;. Well..er..yeah !

BTW... if you wait on the winning screen for all of the drivers to finish their current laps then their completed laps/time difference will appear... Well at least that happened in GT3... I'd imagine it would happen in 4?

yep,that still shows up . It's just that..the screen stays up for about 10-15 seconds I'd say..and if your opponent still hasn't crossed the finish line (no matter how many times you have lapped him,or how far ahead you are in front of him) it will not tell you the opponents statistics . Also,Liquid..I would pit every 10 laps,but that changed at about lap 100 when I started to pit every 15 laps instead . Ah,stock car?! I actually worked on it though,I bought new parts and such for it ! Hahahaha,it's like stock because it's not that fast . But I did work on it,spacing the gears out and working on suspension so it wouldn't move like whale. Hahahaha..well..hope this clears up everything discussed

The Miata/Eunos/MX 5... what ever.. endurance race was one of the only races in GT3 I never completed. Started it several times, but after about 30 minutes i got extremely bored and quit. Why most they include a similar one in GT4... PD must be pure evil...

hahaha,but you know what they say about Japanese people. They are born game geniuses ! I'm serious..all the way from the young ones playing Mario and beating it in a really fast time all the way through (true,the kid that I am referring to is actually Chinese or Korean,something like that ,but still ) to the middle aged ones who can play Mario songs on an electric guitar or play it blindfolded on a piano..or play beatmania constantly and make your hands move really fast ! To even the old guys you meet at your local Asian market who listen to you humming the original Mobile Suit Gundam theme,then begin singing along with you ! Yes..the last story is based on a true one of what happened to me once when getting pocky !

P.S. Even though most of my references are not game related ...most Japanese I have met are pretty crazy at whatever they do,and even most Koreans are as well! Especially at playing KOF (King of Fighters) curses...*shakes his fist* I always lose to Kim (my Korean friend,not the Kim on the game ) !!

I'm gonna have to admit sorta cheating my way through GT3 after completing that race.
I entered it just to learn how to handle the MX-5 (my first GT3 car) and ended up winning the older F1 car...you can guess the rest

Dude! Don't worry about it! That's almost exactly what I did....except it took me longer to get my fist F1 car...but when I did....it was over!


FOOT NOTE: I originally did that years ago (All right..about 3 yrs ago) when I was younger....when I was just getting into console racing...however I've since gone back and cleaned up my memory card and started playing GT3 again, but this time taking a more challenging demeanor when entering a specific race..and in doing so, I really think I've improved as a driver! IMHO that is!

well..for all the people that didn't look at the Prize Car picture...you do not win an F1 car after this race (*snaps* grrr..and I was hoping to earn an extra 100,000,000 credits by selling it too ) but instead,you win the LM Edition RX-7 ! Which I STILL must see how much it sells for . Hehehe..I'll probably keep it though,just because that is probably the only way I can get the car..and I CERTAINLY don't feel like doing that race again !

AE86Driver, errmp.. i do the 24h race or nurburing, my car still running even on empty gas! it run about 80 km/h. it happen while i'm did not refuel my car. I did stop at the pit but i did not know which one the command for refueling and it's kazunori's mistakes for delaying the english version! Waaargh i need ENGLISH VERSION kazu..please.. my point is what is that? you can drive your car even on empty tank? uuurgh...

i've started B spec at 0700 yesterday, left it till 1300. once i switch on my tv, i'm on 3rd place lapped by number 1 car! before that i'm on first place and that is before i left alone my PS to go to work. i use R1 on rear wheel R2 on front. My car was Amuse carbon R34 something. What are the best tyre type to use? eheh.. my guru..please help.

wow,you are using R tyres for this race?! ACK X_X! Your car would DIE at the "ring" if you use R tyres even for one lap ! Alright..well..I raced with an R32 there,so I can kinda resemble this to the R34's handling. Well...like any other long race really..I used S2 tyres. Do NOT use Racing tyres for endurance races,repeat...do NOT use RACING tyres! Go with economy tyres! Like...S type! I also really wouldn't advise changing tyres for front and rear with an All Wheel Drive vehicle. That could mess up the balance of your traction..having two different sets of tyres anyways. Well..I took this race on with A-Spec Mode and had control for the whole race,so I am sorry to hear you are using B-Spec and your car got lapped,that's not good ! Well...as far as what advice I could give? I'd rather do it all myself,so I'd have control of what's happening..rather than AI controlling MY car,but eh...seeing as you are probably busy with work and such,you may not have time to perform in A-Spec,but anyways..eh...just go with S2 tyres! I had to pit in every two laps with these tyres,but I was a good distance ahead of my opponents because my tyres didn't become destroyed within first minute,especially with R32 ! Hahaha,thank you for guru compliment,but don't worry..I'm no guru,trust me..I am fellow GTPlanet member like you ! Hope this helps !

just 2 laps for using s2 tyres? as i recall, when using R1 or R2 tyre, it can last up to 3 or 4 laps on Nurburig. and when using S tyre type, it's hell to control the R34! BTW thanks for all tips i'll try it by myself,me and i all alone to do with A-spec today and i hope my mom still love me even if i cannot blink my eyes at normal rate when i give her a kiss!

thanks to Maskrider,I will show you which tyres I used..it was S2,but I have not tried R2 or R3,so I cannot actually compare with those >_>;. I was actually comparing with R5s,because that is the only R tyres I have raced with so far . Maybe I need to test R3 or R2 then? Hmmmm..well..I got through this race on S2s,sooooo...I hope the best of luck to you my friend !

ack x_X..you just HAD to ask me about B-Spec,didn't you? ! I'm really but I don't know like the first thing about B-Spec Mode . Hahahaha,I only know of how A-Spec is . About the race being rather even,I wouldn't say so ? I had 19 lap lead on people,so if you go in there with good Roadster,you will do fine,but ummm..I don't know if that would be same case with B-Spec Mode if you went in with good Roadster. Then it may just depend on driver

Hahahaha ! Yes,19 lap lead ! I do not believe it was as "astronomical" (weird choice of word ) as it may look . This race was really easy..it was just being able to "endure" your bigger opponent...yourself . Hahaha,well..do not worry,it is not translator fault of releasing episodes 11 and 12 of Fourth Stage ! You are waiting for fansub right? Then it must be aired first,hahahaha. For more information,check at this link .
