I know the NA guys have to finish, are there plans to do another PAL season? May be a bit early yet, but you can put me down as interested.

Maybe, we will take a break (for my sanity more than anything). And I will consider it, I really don't feel like doing it again for a while but seeing as it would only be 1 region (and thus only 2 tables to update) I think I might.

I think it would have to certainly wait till the summer, perhaps sometime in July, because from now till then I have all sorts of stuff going on from uni exams to Stag do's.

I kind of also want to focus on other games for a while too, I kind of fancy starting a championship in Ferrari Challenge seeing as its finally started working more reliably online for me.

Eventually though, the EU F1:CE servers will probably be shut down so it can't go on forever. Hopefully when GT5 comes out we can continue this if they include at least 1 F1 car and some World Championship circuits. (I cross my fingers over that one!). F1 09 is also a possibility but I won't be doing one for that until I know its as good as F1:CE - if not I won't buy it.

Also, just to mention, my controller was being really annoying lol.
Some of the time when I downshifted, it downshifted two gears rather than one, it only cost me like 2 seconds in the whole race, so nothing really bad, just slightly annoying...

I guess we're on to Suzuka after that race and I have a feeling Shaggy will be doing very well here. I'm hoping to get a good result at the last few races and who knows I may just get the Championship if Shaggy doesn't do well at Interlagos.

EDIT: A break? Like a few months before the next race?

Only the NTSC ones apparently, and I'm guessing a lack of interest is the reason though I don't know the numbers that play it in each region I can imagine its going to be lower in North America of any place in the world.

Well I'm almost definitey gonna buy F1 09 when it eventually comes out, and I'll set up a championship if Ardius hasn't done. That what I'm most interested in for another championship.

I'm definitly going to buy F109 too!

I am also most definitly up for another Championship. I think that the next Championship may even be faster and more intense than this one!
First we have to finish this one though lol.
So Ardius, what is the weather going to be like for Suzuka?

Dry because we know there is a lap-bug like at the other tracks, wet weather would just confuse the issue more, so Interlagos is going to be light rain.

Worst race ever for me:grumpy:. I start off ok but it all start going bad after the first pitstop. I Make a mistake in the pits and lose tiem to the leader, then I get a penalty for one corner. Later on as I'm trying to catch up, I end up rear ending Mofo, who was stopped in the middle of the track and my worn tires would not turn. Then the last few laps, I just kept missing pit road. Suddenly, I'm starting to look like Hamilton in his rookie season and I don't like that at all.

Anyhow, on to Suzuka and a lap around the track courtesy of Micheal Schumacher:

I also thank everyone for not giving me, duck or Hemi a 1st corner blunder for the fourth straight race. Just two more times is all I ask of you guys.

Sorry order was different. I owed thirteendog a spot, and he passed me late. Kami thanks for letting me by that one time. Not a bad race, good drivers track, but fairly boring.

First off, sorry for the crappy pics. I managed to get 3 qualifying laps in, which I needed to get P2 but time literally ran out when I crossed the line so could not get pic of everybody's time :grumpy:

Great start, got inside of Duck and we held our lines 👍 He managed to stay to the outside of me all the way around turns 1 & 2, which put me outside on turn 3 so I ceded the position and checked up :sly: which allow RaceCar to come up on my right going down the straight :grumpy: and we bumped :ouch: He over shot the first hairpin and I undercut him :D As he was coming back on track at an obscure angle so I moved to the right and somebody was there :ouch: don't know who but we bumped :banghead: I was in the middle and then I had a case of my left hand didn't know what my right hand was doing :dunce: I got crossed up on my steering and drove right off the course :embarrassed: of course getting bumped between to cars like a ping pong ball didn't help  When I went off course I hit the armco  not good. When I re spawned it was off to the races. Lofasz and I had a good battle when he went wide going onto the back straight and I got a run on him and got by 👍 When I caught CAMikaze he went wide in turns 1 & 2 so I went inside of him and we must have bumped as he told me after the race I hit him :indiff: Next was Sumpington whom I managed to get on the back straight :sly: Then my teammate Thirteendog whom I caught at an opportune time and got by before the first hairpin :) The whole time this is going on Lofasz is still hot on my tail :scared: but he didn't have as easy of time getting past my teammate ;) When I caught ranhammer who was having a good race, he made a slip on the final turn and I was able to get by on the front stretch and thanks for not pushing the issue in turn one ranhammer 👍 That put me in P4 before my first stop :D I managed to stretch my fuel to lead a lap :P Second stint didn't see much except open track in front and behind. Third stint is where things got a little weird :odd: as I'm coming to the last corner with 2 laps to go I ran over something on the track, around the corner there set RaceCar  that gives me P3. It gets weirder folks  as I'm coming to the line with 1 lap to go there sets Mofongo, that gives me P2 :dopey: I try to hold off Mofongo, turn on the camera and take a pic of his fast lap before the finish for the record, the pic came out a little blurry but a P2 podium finish was crystal clear

If only it were possible to save online races that you run in for looking at later on in F1-CE.:guilty: I think he might have a point there on that one. I had a good week of practices leading up to tonight but it was that and a few mistakes on my part that made it go all for naught.:(

Points for teams and drivers would look like this:

RACECAR - 113
FastDuck - 111

And the team championship just got tighter too:

Aguri - 138

Williams - 138

Lofus - 136

It would appear we are on the verge of repeating the Formula one championship from last year (minus the team points). It is also official that my old strategy is now been thrown out the window, I need moar wins.

Edit: Practice room will all this weeK(assuming "DiRT" and my videos don't take up my time), As always it'll be in the Parabolica room, it'll be "GTP Suzuka Practice" and the password will be "RACE".

Isn't that really strange? Both Championships have two title contenders, two races to go and only 2 points in it! lol.
Also, the person behind (Me and Fastduck) managed to win in Shanghai.
I just found that quite strange

Wow, that is very ironic.

What a race. Quali was awful, I cut a chicane on both of my laps I was so ticked, so that means I started dead last. Thankfully that wasn't such a bad thing as I weaved through the turn 1, 2, 3, 4 fiasco. I ended up as high as 3rd I think. Not to long after that I saw my team mate with Lofas close on his heels. I managed to split them and slow down the Ferrari :D Sorry Lofas. From there Sump caught me, and tried to pass me twice off the long straight going into the last hair pin. I blocked the inside and he never made the pass. I normally expect to be in front of Ranhammer, but he had an exceptional race. If it wasn't for a bad pit stop I thought he might have finished 1 position higher. I saw sump make his pit and I came in the following lap and came out in front of him :D. I blocked him one last time going into the hair pin and spun after the last turn before the start/finish line. I got back on track and was able to keep sump in my sights.

Going into the last pit stop he must have had a long stop, because two laps later when I stopped I came out right in front of him. He tagged my rear, which took my car out. Wasn't really his fault, I miss judged my speed and his while coming out of the pits. I respawned in front of the leaders (racecar I think) and was able to get out of their way. Last lap Sump slowed to let me have the position back, I passed and was praying I didn't screw up the final corner again lol. All in all a poor performance for me. I hadn't practiced all week (work was busy) My first laps were the practice before the race with Zeroduck and the others. LOL I did watch my times go down in the 32 laps though. I started with 1:38 then to 1:35's. Oh, if I had just practiced.

Yeah I blew my last stop, 12.5 seconds!:crazy::ouch:

I was in 4th behind you after T1 but got hit by Kami and fought back from there. Put in some solid low 1:34s to catch you, had fun trying to pass, I just didn't trust the brakes enough. :scared:

LOL yeah, I didn't want to just give it to you. Poor Camikaze his laptimes were good he just couldn't catch a break.

Sorry guys, after missing last nights race I doubt I'll be able to make a last minute return, possibly Brazil, but doubtful. :(
However in 3 weeks I am (sort of) finished college so I should have loads of time for races and or championships. I'll get F1 09 as soon as it comes out too so can I book my place in that championship now! :D

It's a shame you weren't there for the race GT4, I was looking forward to racing you again, although I have vastly improved since we last raced lol. I hope you can make the race at Interlagos, but if not then I will look forward to racing you in the new Championship :).

Well... it started in qualifying. I qualified 5th and then the race started... Chris (Camikaze) was on my inside and I think I accidently clipped him (not on purpose) but something else must have happened instead.. Now, we get to the surprise... I was running in 3rd! Then Mofongo said bye-bye to me, then came hemi. Actually I planned on letting the faster guys go by because I really didn't really want to trash someone's car. Anyway I'm running 5th and then out of nowwhere come Lofasz flying and I tried to fight him but instead, I locked wheels (I was way too aggressive, btw sorry Lofasz!) and I sent myself spinning.... BUT I didn't hit anything!!! :D So that meant I could keep on going in 6th, other than the last pit stop, that where I was. Listen, I practiced a ton last week, and I plan on doing the same with Suzuka. I used race weekend to get used to the track and get some practice in without going online. Very great race for me, and it was a blast! See ya next week!!!! :D --- Randy

Yeah, it was coming out of turn 10, where I passed you on the inside, when you went wide onto the buzz strip. From my view, there was no contact, nor any tug at my wheel. I saw you oversteer to my right, and thought the tail got loose on you, going over the strip. Glad neither of us broke anything! :)👍

On to Suzuka! Should be a real challenge, since I add sooooo much camber when I race there offline.

What do you guys do with the ABS and TC settings?

Mine changes from track to track. I haven't got to where I'm comfortable changing it from turn to turn :sly: for Suzuka I usually run both on 2, sometimes I'll put my ABS on 3 but that can make it a little exciting going into turn one :scared:
