3 Race Qualification For Team Gtp

Very nice time there Mr P! You must have been flying on those first two laps! I've tried a few different cars to race against, but always seem to get bashed by the AI cars into the first S. Will need to try and get a cleaner start to the race.

Had a couple of tries at swiss alps, but for some reason I thought it was a Hard Arcade race :weird: and therefore I only have times for a 4-lap race not a 5. Best first lap was a 1:27.1xx and best lap was a 1:21.4xx

Come on the rest of you guys!! Where's your times for these 2 races!!

thanx man , i do like this race a lot now , i have a rhythm for my start lap i slipstream the gt-one when i can get it in 3rd place and then i use the 2nd place car to guide me down the hill and i then plough right into the r390 which is usually just entering the tunnel and from then on i am in the lead , as for them 2 flying laps i gained the extra time for these on the last bend with an error on lap one going too wide broke and straight into the sweetest line i have seen for that bend , next lap i tried it again and done it just not as clean as the 1st , and i knew i was well up so i went back to a steady rythm and nailed a sweet time my best sector 1 time was a 20.5.. and my best sector 2 was a 37.1...

need those times today guys , c'mon results will be up at midnight gmt

i will do the last 2 races today.

my ps2 is still broken. so i am rusty and wont have many tries.

i will be going to my brothers house today for an hour or so. i live in arizona, usa. we dont change our time and i think right now we our on mountain standard. it is 9am right now. i should be able to post in a few hours. i hope this is in time. i dont know how far behind we are of GMT.

Hey Mr P!! Had a quick couple of runs at Midfield and improved my times slightly. I'm still having trouble at the start of the race with the AI but have got some tactics for getting past them. My 1st two laps were not so good, but the rest of the run was OK!

ok gvx had some more runs and i beat it ! not by much but it's an improvement , so here it is

LAP 1 = 1.26.965
2 = 1.21.821
3 = 1.21.941
4 = 1.21.812
5 = 1.21.505

TOTAL TIME = 6.54.044

i didnt have time to do both. only got in 4 tries with the zonda. definitely not enough to dial the track. very inconsistent lap times.

second sector 38.4 -- couldnt get the top of the hill right or the bridge

did i mention it sucks to have your ps2 break

but anyway there it is, easily beatable with more tries.

I've been having another go at the midfeild II and managed to suprise myself with a good consistant run

1 ---- 1'11.168 huge improvement
2 ---- 1'05.154
3 ---- 1'05.384
4 ---- 1'05.261
5 ---- 1'05.224

Total race time of -- 5'32.191

Hopefully my time will give me decent result

i think its past time in the time zone, but when i dropped off my bro i had time for 1 more run at the 2nd race and one run at the 3rd.

race 3 -- 6'54.607

both times still easily beatable, but i dont know when i'll have another chance. race 3 best lap of 121.020 & 1st lap of 126.890. still not enough time to be fast and consistent. oh well.

How many are using TCS? and how many arent?

I am using TCS if i dont i have to baby the throttle around the hairbin and then my times would suck even more than they do, 2morrow I will improve and get closer to you guys.

cheers man , i didn't even realise i had edited an old post ! oh well anyway took me about 2 hours to piece together that run and i agree with you totally man on the improving it , my best time on that course is on my time trial 8 where i am currently at a 1.20.8?? and if it was possible to nail a couple of these in amongst the 1.26 starter and a couple of 1.21's then a possible mid 6.52 is attainable , i'm gonna have some fun as we swap them backwards to each other until the deadline and see how far we can take it man woooh!! i'm going back on it now , i like it that much

Can't really comment on those lap times posted as I virtually never race the F1. Don't like it and the handling is just too un-realistic. But sub minute for Seatle and 56.xxx something at Rome seems a little to fast without slamming every wall!
