3000 tunes vs 1/4 tunes

Was running my new 3000m un-winged ACR at Indy tonight (raised the back though) and I was between 2 and 3 cars off some good 1/4 ACRs. Is this any good? (I'd launch same but because my gearing is more spaced id lose speed in shifts)

Can many good 3000m tunes keep up with/beat a good 1/4 tune at Indy?

If you gear it to a 1st gear launch vs 2nd gear on 1/4 tune, you'll get similar 0-60, but the shift lag between gears will slow you down as well as longer gears throughout the entire tranny. Good luck though. 👍
 
flip/stretch the gears to:
-275 mph top right
-max left on lower mph(149? forgot what it was)
-beginning final you just have to do trial and error(i forgot)
4 5 6 can be set all the way to the right- you can fine tune later
1 if suspension is setup can be all the way to the left, if you bog just move it to the right till it doesn't
play with 2 & 3 to not get shift lag

take the wing off unless you do the "aero trick"

no wing should trap 248
with wing w/ aero trick should trap 250




this may not be the best setup but it works for me and i have a decently fast acr

suspension really depends
- usually front all the way up is a given
- i use anywhere from all the way up to 20 less then front

Hmm, SLS? Really? Never knew the Cien could do it. BTW, what does Cien trap with it?

on cars with aero trick and given a good tune on both, the one with a wing will usually win

even a 2mph difference is a lot, its a noticeable pull mid range and a lot up top

Yeah my Viper GTS reaches 244 in the end of the tunnel.

I need help with the "aero trick". Im using the dodge viper srt10 acr and i have the downforce set at 40 and the ride height set at 40 in the front n -20 in the rear still i dont see any difference in mph. Is there anything else i was suppose to change in the suspension setup? thanx in advance for any help

With different heights I only get 1mph difference. Find what suits you bro. What are you trapping?

246mph in the 3k run on ssrx

That isn't too bad mate, do you have any toe? And are you using a wing or not

Regardless of my heights with toe I couldn't get past 246

i cant get past 246 either! even when adjusting gears

What is your max speed set at? And where about is 6 in terms of min-max?

Also did you flip the transmission?

Mine kisses 248 at the line (non-wing). My winged one is an embarrassment

Doesn't D2 bend it over the dresser?
