This might be the first photo of yours I've seen where you seem to make use of a tripod, I like it.
True, I don't usually take long exposures. This and this are the rare exceptions.

Having said that, I don't own a tripod. They were all taken resting the camera on whatever I had in hand. ;)

I find this picture saddening.

You've got these beautiful, historical structures, and right down the middle of them, is this shopping complex.
The photo's actually a bit misleading. The original architecture of that particular building was restored and maintained - of all four sides of the building, that's the only one that was "modernized" (that's just one big clothing shop, by the way).

Having said that, you do have a point.
