Aww man :(, I was really looking forward to racing King tonight, especially as he was looking very quick here. That's a real shame.
With that sad piece of news, I hope others can still make it, and just to remind Fishfash that the race is at 9pm and not 10pm, i'm sure you already know, but just making sure lol.

You will all receive your invites and details on the PSN soon :)

Gonna make my comeback:D

Actually you might have had perfect timing. Sadly I'm moving to campus for college in a week and the ports for the PSN are blocked there, so I highly doubt I'll make the race next week. :( I might be able to make a few more throughout the year if I dont have an early start on a Monday, but at this time I cant say anything for sure.
So Appie, if Shaggy will have ya, your welcome to my seat 👍

As for the race I had a good start, made no real mistakes Kingmarten was very close for awhile but then I got a bit of a gap of about 3 seconds then he just fell back about 20 seconds, I think he spun, not sure though. The rest of the race was basically me catching Hemi then making a mistake and falling back, that happened about 3 times :dunce:. Then I eventually made no mistakes for long enough to get past when he got a penalty then he got the position back after the pit stops. I came out beside him and I think I closed the door into turn 1 a bit too much and so gave the position back then made another big mistake and that was it really. Finished 6th I think which I'm happy enough with despite all the mistakes, such an easy track to spin on.

Ugh :yuck: terrible race for me!

My qualifying was poor, my first lap was a high 1:16, the second a 1:16.4 then my last lap looked like being a mid 1:15 but I screwed up the chicane at the start of the final sector and had to be content with 5th on the grid.

My start was reasonable but then coming down to Aqua Minereale I believe I was just ahead of Crooky, and when we both turned into the corner he crashed into my side, but he came off far worse, losing a wheel in the process. That's how it looked from my screen. However, wary of the arguments after Malaysia and after everything I said, I waited for him, which relegated me to last position. I eventually made it past him and then past several other cars who had penalties but for the last stint of the race I was catching Ginty but made too many stupid errors and ran out of laps, eventually spinning at Aqua Minerale on the last lap, forcing me to settle for 4th place. Fastest lap was scant consolation as Brawn achieved a 1-2 and Kakundoo gained 4 points on me :ouch:
I'm just so disappointed I never found my rhythm in this race, I got a couple of penalties and a spin even though I was so certain I wouldn't make any mistakes like that. I was always ultra cautious in the first sector for some reason, I must have been a good 4 tenths slower per lap in that sector than i had been in practice. Maybe I just practiced too much. I was lucky to get 4th in the end :indiff:

I noticed Gyles led the whole race until quite near the end. I'm assuming some games were going on there at Brawn, but I understand and I'm not pissed off if that is indeed the case. Fantastic 1-2 for you guys 👍

Zeroduck d/c again, dunno what the reason was, as did Appie.

Great race! :D

After a reasonable qualifying, I was 3rd, which was better than expected, behind Gyles and GINTY (Yeah Gyles, of course you'll be mid pack lol). I got a good, clean start off the line and managed a good overtaking move passed GINTY into the first corner and looked everywhere I could to make sure that I didn't hit him on the way through, luckily.
I knew that if I kept my cool, then I could stay in front of GINTY, but it would be difficult to keep with Gyles. I saw that Zeroduck was in 3rd at some point, but again I tried to keep calm, make no mistakes and stick with Gyles as much as I could, although sometimes when I was slipstreaming him, it was hard to get the corners correct.
After an incident behind me, I was free to go at my own pace. I wasn't really pushing very much.
I thought that I might squeeze some extra laps out of the car at the pit stops to leap frog Gyles, however I wasn't quick enough and Gyles stayed in front. This was pretty much the story of my race, until the end, where I think Gyles made a mistake at the chicane in the beginning of the third sector and I was starting to catch him as he may have been more cautious. But then, on the penultimate lap Gyles did let me through. I really did not expect this and waved my car about lots to try and say thanks, but that caused me to go off the track a bit lol.
All in all, it was a good race for me and although I won the race, I think Gyles deserved it through and through, although I didn't make a mistake :D.

And sorry for the delayed race, because I was racing with my brother at Monza on Saturday, the gears were on manual and the controller config was on sixaxis tilt steering rather than the analog stick lol.

wow what a race for me a good start 3rd through 1st and 2nd bends then at turn 4 i pushed two much and lost it in the wall witch left me in 10th after th) at i pushed like mad .there were a couple off crashes in front ( don't now who ) from there i pushed and passed hem for 3rd .after the first pit stop stayed 3rd with shaggy pushing me all the way two the finish .( yessssa my first podium great race all and good win Kakundoo

Your aloud do it but dont tell anyone! Now we'll have to fine Brawn.

Well I'm moving to Jordan, and my fine is that all my team's points are taken away. Then I move back to Brawn GP and race the rest of the season there :D lol.

In all honesty I just wanted to say thanks to Gyles and let him know that he really did deserve that, he drove a stunning race in my opinion and it was a great team effort.

If you say that we're allowed to do it, then I don't see the harm in being honest and just saying, yes, I raced well, but he was actually better. I don't want all the glory here lol.

And Congratulations GINTY, a great drive from you as well. The first podium is always a great feeling and i'm sure that we will see you win a race this season, both you and King in my opinion.

Hey Guys,

It's a Brawn 1-2 :)

First of all I would like to say one word.

"LAG"

I encountered lag 5 or 6 times during the race, and it was the type of lag where everything runs in slow motion, and this lasted around 6 seconds or more on each occasion 👎

Anyway here is my race report. I haven't played this game in almost 3 months, and turning the wheel for the first time was a joke. Going into qualy I messed up my first 2 laps, on my last attempt I had a big tank slapper on the last corner but managed to hold it together, and luckily got pole.

Had a good start and after a few laps noticed Kak was just beind me 👍 From then on I took it easy, although I did make many mistakes, I did not pick up any penalities or crashes 👍 Kak was right behind me from lap 1 and most likely was never more than 6 seconds or so behind for the entire race. That was a great performance and mirrors what Brawn had actually achived today IRL.

My fastest lap was a 1:14.8 but I never went for the fastest lap as I was looking for a 1-2 finish and did not want to take any risks. The fastest lap of the race that was superbly achieved by Shaggy :)

On the final lap I got a call from the team and they told me to slow down as I was running low on fuel. I short shifted on the final lap and crossed the line just behind my team mate 👍

Oh, that's what happened Fishfash, after my second pit stop I had problems with my radio, so they couldn't tell me.
But, yes, it was definitely a great Brawn-esque drive today. Two Italian races (Monza and Imola), two Brawn 1-2s. I don't think we could have asked for much more :)
I have really enjoyed racing you again today Gyles, and hopefully we can race more in the future.

So, what's the weather for Nurburgring Jamie? Also, Red Bull still have a point too many. I'm gutted if Tom can't make it for the rest of the season :( How should we work it, will Appie simply race in reserve and then give way to Tom for any time he can make it?

Man i hate these penalties. One inch of the tyre wrong and 8 seconds penalty. I got like 4 penalties in a row, then i just quitted. :grumpy:

It was a great team effort, that's what gives the Brawn cars the edge over any other team 👍

Just my opinion and I won't be racing but the Nurburgring has to be done in the dry because of the 80% guaranteed lap glitch.

I'd feel cruel if Appie could make it to every race and then I kick him out every time I have time to drive. So if he wants the drive he can have it full time. If I can make it to a few races I'm sure there'll be a few people missing so I could take their seats if no one has a problem with it. Really annoyed I cant make it to Monaco at least. The summer ended too soon. :(

Nicely done fishfash. 👍 You must be use to lying.

I had already got past you GT4 only ended up behind you as after it kicked me out i came back in and i was zeroducks car which was miles back from where i was originally.

Yeah well done GINTY getting the team another podium and i don't think a race win will be anytime soon for me kakundoo thanks for the praise though.

Yes, I agree with Fishfash. It will be dry, no doubts about that, especially to be on the safe side due to some of the lag experienced in this race.
Honestly King, I didn't expect to win a grand prix last season, but I managed to win at Montreal. It's a great feeling to win your first race, especially when there are some many fast competitors in this Championship. I'm sure your times will come, and I'm sure everyone will be pleased for you both when they do :).

Yeah you passed me across the start finish line when I went a little too wide and got a short-cut penalty. :ouch:

Well I didn't have the best race..............come to think of it I didn't even have a good race  and like fishfash, I had terrible lag as can be seen in the video 👎 I even put one clip in that shows an AI car catching me and trying to pass :odd: if you notice the video seems to be fast and then slow, well that's how the last half of my race was :irked: The only good things that I can say are 1 - I made a pretty good save and 2 - I had a 6.9 second pit stop 👍 The video pretty much tells it all so enjoy :D Oh, and Shaggy this one is only about 6 and 1/2 minutes and packs a lot of action :) but I missed the actual start of the race :ouch:

Thanks for the video, I encoutered that very same lag many times during the race. I remember looking at one of my laptimes after the lag and it was around 1:26 :yuck:

I think when people leave the race and then rejoin the lobby that is when the lag happens.
