What's the weather going to be like on sunday? And would anyone care to share some personal bests? I haven't reached the 1:09's yet, but i've done a 1:10.1 or less, I don't remember. My favourite part will be the drafting on the long straight and the late braking going into turn 1.

Still haven't got any practice in :nervous: but Rob's coming over tonight so we'll probably do a few LAN races and improve as much as possible (even though it's more than likely he'll forget to turn up again lol).

The lead up to Magny-Cours should be much better since I have a half term holiday and I will want to practice because I love the track :D
 
What's the weather going to be like tomorrow Kak?I spent all of my time practicing in the dry so if it's wet I'll lose tomorrow.
 
Ginty message me the other day and his internet has gone down but he said he will be back for the race. I hope he is as we need the team points to keep in the hunt for the team title.
 
Wow, this might be a fantastic race for me tomorrow, I got in some very decent practice, i'm fast enough, in fact, faster than a number of others. As long as my run into turn 1 is good, watch your mirrors polesitter.
 
I haven't practiced at all :lol: and yes it will be dry. It would be evil of me to change the weather after everyone else has practiced in the dry lol.

I best get in some track time later otherwise i'll be plum last :nervous:

BTW how are the LAN races, any lag ? Is there any of that horrid smoke ?

Good luck, and PLEASE read the rules on the first page. If you do break one, the "i didn't know" excuse won't be accepted, sorry.

But good luck though, and go easy in turn 1 ;)

Great stuff, see you online later on. I worked out, the race plus qualifying should take around 30 mins exactly at this track.

We usually meet up at 8:55. Best of luck 👍
 
WTF!

Qualified okay in 3rd, got a good run down into turn 1, made sure not to hit anyone, AND I DIDN'T! I saw Hemi hit Shaggy so I crept through, only to be demolished by another careless unknown driver. I had to carry on in dead last, and eventually began making my way through the field, got stuck behind PJ for a bit, he was hard to get passed because he was appearing a disappearing everywhere, I got passed, looked back and he was still behind me so I carried on.
Then I lost a place to King when I spun it, but got passed Ginty who made a mistake. He got the slip stream on me and made a fantastic overtake, and I gave him plenty of room because he had the line into the next corner. I did the same move at the same corner, he went too wide, but instead of giving me room, he crashed into me and didn't give the place back. So he will have to give it back now of course.

**** race, because people were too careless.

Who hit me in turn 1?
 
Good win by Shaggy, again, bad race for me. Big crash at turn 1, I thought I was out of the way, and then the next thing i know, Kakundoo is on top of me!!!WTF??? He respawns back on track and continues his day, and I crawl back on track only to get a penalty:(. Kakundoo crashed just nearby, and I move back up a spot. I sat like a rock in that place until Kakundoo caught up, with a draft on the straight, and eventually passed me, very aggressively, actually banging into me, with no damage thankfully. I was about to have a go at him on the straight, but I took the final corner too early and got a 8 second penalty again :(:(, which made kingmart1n get by as well:(:(:(. I caught back up to Kakundoo, maybe he made a mistake or crashed again, and when I was exiting the pits on my 2nd and final stop, Kakundoo just coming down the straight, a 8 second penalty again, out of nowhere:(:(:(:(. So, I remained in 7th place until the checkered flag.


EDIT: In addition to Kak's post above, who the hell put Kak on top of me???
 
My race..

Started back in 10th (only the AI behind me) and made it through the first corner in one piece,exited turn 2 in 3rd place, over the next 3 to 4 laps pretty much everyone got back past me,but when king passed me i got into his slipstream at the start finish straight, and didnt weave to the side soon enough so i went straight up his behind (god damn dead zone in the centre of the DFGT with F1:CE that im not used to yet) so im very sorry for that. Next was just a matter of driving round the track keeping myself clean (fastest lap of 1:11 acheived here) and I pitted slowly (its hard to do the buttons on the DFGT so i took over 10 seconds) (at this point joy, who was ralf schumacher,left the race,for some reason and AI Coulthard was not far behind me) After the round of pitstops and a couple of more laps Joy rejoined and got put in Coulthards car (less than 200yds behind me) and as i went wide through the technical section he overtook me and slowly got a lead out on me, me pushing hard resulted in a spin (just as the leaders came through to lap me,sorry if me being across the track hindered you guys)

After that i kept myself clean,performed a faster second pitstop,and tried to get myself into as good a position as possible

I have no idea who messed turn 1 up, it was just a pile of wheels and smoke when i got there, i'd like the situation of Joy changing cars investigated though,and if king wants to take action for me spinning him on lap 3 or 4 then i accept that

I stop right behind you kakundoo just after T1 then got smashed from behind and hit you it was zeroduck or scoop who hit me and didn't wait for me. But you did go off ahead of me as i didn't overtake you till your mistake.

Nah i finished ahead of you scoop your ok.
 
Well, then we need to know who hit you King, because whoever did needs to have waited for both of us as they made the error. Judging by Scoop's post, it doesn't look like he did, being back in last it looked like he just wriggled his way through the wreckage.
