I just did it with the Audi R8 01 race car. Was pretty easy , Pitted end of lap 4 going into lap 5 added 11 liters of fuel and intermediate tires and ran the rest of the race without pitting. I was so far ahead of them that it changed screens before they crossed the finish line. So I dont know what I won by. with a level 40 driver also

what tyres did you use?? did you start off with inters or hards?

edit... dint notice the inters you took on pitting..i assume you started off with hards..

2J did it. I underestimated that thing so much...I have no idea how it managed to keep up with the opponents at the beginning before they'd pitted (on worse tyres and with a 47PP disadvantage!!), and then it just sped away and won it. Thanks all for the great suggestion, guys. ;) Now just have to do the 400PP race and the races are done!

I don't know what crack the 2J supporters are smoking, because my level 37 driver finished 6th

Make sure it's fully modded, tune up the tranny so it doesn't hit the limiter, make sure you're using Sports Softs and don't stop hitting the Increase Pace button. Ever.

I used a stock none turbo 97 supra from the ucd with no oil change on the 400 pp event and cleaned house.
4 seasonals at a time is a work out but I like it.

Right, so, here is what I used for all seasonals.

400PP: Slightly modded Peugeot 207 GTi with Sports Softs. Easy win.
500PP: Fully modded Fiat 500 '08 on RS. Very easy win.
650PP: Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car. Needed to fit RMs to win.
GT500: Stock Calsonic Impul GT-R. Just gave whatever commands felt necessary at the time and won by an OK margin. Also did so with a pitstop as well.
700PP: 2J with SS. Rapid-tapped the Increase Pace button all the way with no pitstops.

Skipping the Time Trials and Drift Trials now though, can't be bothered and don't have the resources to be very fast in the Time Trials and I can't drift.

Forgot about the Increase Pace Button, will do that.

just won la sarthe by 24.9 seconds using the 2j.

Like was said before, pit on the end of lap 2, Racing Int. tires with 0 fuel. Keep your bob at the very top of the red, once there keep hitting maintain pace. I forgot to pit on the end of lap 7 so I pitted on the end of lap 8, you should be several seconds ahead, keep your racing int. tires and I got 6liters of fuel(dont know if it was needed or not), at this point your about 4th place... The 1-3rd place had to pit on the end of lap 9. So you had alot of cushin between you. Thats how I got many seconds ahead. Total time was 40 mins give or take

I cant seem to beat the B-Spec. My driver wont drive aggressively. so he's stuck at the back. I got the 06' Takate Dome NSX tuned to excactly 600 PP. But he wont make any progress. Any tips?

What level is he? My driver (level 40) is using the same model car, with stage-3 engine tune to bring it up to exactly 600 PP, and he can win by himself with no input from me.

Same here! Borrowed my own 2J from another PSN and used it. Going into lap 4 I had first place. 👍

So you have to hit the increase button for forty minutes? My audi pretty much done it alone. I only hit the advance button maybe 4 times throughout the whole race with 1 pitstop :sly:

Guys - something to consider, not sure how well GT5 portrays this... but..

In the rain, aero based downforce not as significant?..

Drop it and go with the horses :)

GT500 race, TOM's Supra (premium) mid lap 5 takes the lead ;)
[Lv 32 driver - kind of hot headed though]

Mobil 1 NSX wins faily easy also. I put high rpm turbo , gave some extra down force and turned engine power down and let it run

Spa was quite easy.

I used a tuned turbo 3 TAKATA DOME NSX and lowered the power so it's 600PP. Constantly used increase pace and was in the lead by about lap 5.

(Funny enough, I managed to get away with 601PP at one point, not sure how I managed that.)

Level 22 :3

AHh you be of the foul heathen types that abuse the power limiter then ;P

To be taken in jest ;)... How much did it need detuning? maybe try less downforce as my post suggests.. would like to know the results...

Anyone else having trouble with the Tokyo drift trial?

Come in sideways with power on and hit apex for first corner. Carry drift through the straight by swinging the car. Hit apex for 2nd corner with power on as well.

For the last two corners, come in at a decent speed and get sideways early hugging the right bend then swing towards opposite side to finish.

Hope that helps.

I'd suggest level 35 and higher, you got more chance of winning that way.

I won with a level 21 BOB. Started with racing intermediates on a 600pp ARTA NSX. Cancelled pits from laps 7-10. You have to pace up and overtake on straights.

Leveled from 21 to 28 by doing SPA twice.

A spec I used

400pp- H.S.R.
Stock Mr2 G Limited '97 w/ comfort soft (400pp, 196hp, 1261kg) +41kg to make pp level
won by 4.078sec (A.I.'s are on sport hards)

500pp- Trial Mtn.
86 GT '12 tuned 493pp w/ sport hards
won by 20.379 sec

650pp- Grand Valley
RX-7 TC 641pp w/ race hards

Race 1 -------lost by 6.758 sec
Race 2 ------lost by 1.068 sec
Race 3-------lost by .062 sec
race 4 -------WIN by 1.013 sec

I had to push very hard with these tires and car. That Zonda LM was cookin!

With race soft I won by 16.359

Thats it so far.

i just did the spa expert b spec i challenge myself to pit in the last lap and won the race by 0.237 secs LOL

Circuit de la Sarthe

I used an Audi R8 Race Car '01 and won first time with a Lvl 37 BOB.

Start on Racing Hard and pit on Lap 4. This pushed me back to 7th but quickly made my way back through the field. Everyone then pitted on Lap 9 and I stayed out. Won the race pretty easily.

I tuned the Audi to the max and added on weight to get it under 700pp. That should help you win. Hope this helps

So you have to hit the increase button for forty minutes?

It's the cheap way to keep your driver in the red, seeing as you have to keep him there. At the beginning of the race it even makes him faster than the AI - on worse tyres!
