And remember:

I have a bunch of cars for tonight. A few kei cars, civics, renaults, citroens, puegots, etc. should be a fun night!

Just an fyi, the keicars are complete rubbish. I did a keicar night a while back...even with boost on high it was tough to get them to be competitive against one another.

I had another idea for a theme for one night. Classic british touring car championship vehicles. Like the mustangs vs the mini's of the same era. That was good racing.

Has anyone raced the zonda c12 in this series? i found that reducing its hp to the 230 range let it slide into 450pp, i was able to get a 1:29 lap on the trial mtn offline.

It doesnt classify as a racecar / race modded / concept but i would say its a supercar. I rarely see awesome looking cars like this in the series so i was hoping to bring some sexiness.

Well offline vs online are a little different...but try the car out. if people holler and say change your car...change it up.

Join my private lobby (sorry no room number). Tuning session begins now, racing will start when people start to arrive.

Ugh. Suzuka. Would have been a great race if I didn't suck. Wish I could have stuck around longer.

Do another hit hatch night, that ST is perfect.

Also a sorry to sl3ight for lap 7 at Autumn. That was stupid of me to try anything on the chicane.

Discuss vancizzle's (mumixam) driving...

Last night at Madrid Reverse. An obvious punt on lap 2. Not one hit but two, the second at full throttle. On lap 3 he cuts inside me taking my line and causing me to break traction. I said **** it and turned my wheel into him...but of course my little hatch was no match. Granted I did hit the wall prior to his cut-in. But I had complete control of my car by the time he came up to me.

A few nights ago at Daytona, he appears to be a little loose but before completely passing me he drops down on the track and ends up pit maneuvering himself

Same race at Daytona a divebomb, far worse than my maneuver at Suzuka that we discussed.

OMG I've never hit that hard!!! :yuck: Sorry! Maybe with 12+ people in the room the lag start to show up... your little peugeot did a lot of back and forth movement(pulse).... lol watch my speedometer 94-104-95-104-115-103-120-boom 142.....omg!

The first punt was lag, on my screen i heard no collision noise but i did see u fly off ahead of me. You can clearly see me braking to avoid it and when u watch the way your car rubberbands after that minor bump you claim it wasnt lag. Good call.

The 2nd push i didnt see why you freaked out in game about it when it happened. That was because i couldnt see how far ur car was pushed off your line. I was racing with the bumper cam and made a judgement call to pass. I also couldnt see you trying to drive exactly where i was. heh. mistakes happen, no?

>daytona
I barely touched the front fender of your car on daytona and lost control, not causing anyone else any damage. This was my first race using sports softs in the cr-z, i hadnt had time to really warm in before the race and wasnt used to how it behaved on the big banked turn. You wanting to insult me to make yourself feel better is great though.

The divebomb 3 wide was pretty terrible tho and im thankful it didnt screw up those people much. It was possible to avoid hitting anyone as i passed throught the center of the 2 cars if luck was on my side but it wasnt. It was a poor judgement call. If you recall i raced perfectly clean the rest of the race and handed position to grenade even after a blunder of his own because of his antics on the mic at the time.

Am i, vancizzle, the one whos really angering you to the point where you quit racing early to upload some vids of a few mistakes made over a number of races?? If so ill stop joining your racing series before you have a heart attack.

Just before your suspected punt, I love watching my yellow Civic get manhandled by AOK in that stupid little red box of misery. I'm quickly getting tired of his aggressive driving. If you watch vancizzle's rearview you can see him coming up on the right, not being pushed just careening through the field. His braking, or lack thereof, there took me and several others completely out of the running. On my screen, his car went ghost OVER my car after he hit the wall. I didnt even know that was possible but by goodness, AOK found a way.

PS: On the first corner of lap 2, in the rearview mirror I love seeing Vancizzle ghost overtake two cars and only give back 1 position, though I suspect that was involuntary. I have a new theory...if you think your driving style will appear suspicious on video...change it. All the evidence we have to go by is in the replay and if you're driving would cause the avg, GTP member to go "hmm, that might have been dirty" chances are a change is needed. When in doubt, don't....I must have heard that from my mother growing up 5-6 times a day.

Eiger would've been my last race. Wife came home while I was racing. I was bringing up the rear when cars started ghosting in front of me. I tried to avoid and got full damage, engine+suspension. Wasn't in the mood to finish under damage so I exited and called it a night.

Regarding Madrid,
So first push, if you want to call it lag, fine. There were two bumps, the first may have been lag, but it caused me to break front traction. I may have had to lift off the gas potentially causing the second bump. In general, you may want to leave a little more room in corners. Coming up that close to me (lag or not) is pushing it. If you saved the replay, please post it so we can clear things up. Second pass was bad judgement. I use the bumper cam as well and there simply wasn't room for you to cut inside. Your car was faster, wait for the straight next time.

Regarding Daytona,
It definitely looks like your car was loose so I'll give you that one...try to avoid the dive bombing though. Plenty of passing opportunities on the straight sections of that track.

I'm not trying to insult...I'm trying to educate. On Thursday, I posted my passes for discussion and did my best last night to correct the behavior.

I'm not looking to exclude people either, I just want people to race clean. If you make contact during a pass...back off and give the position back, even if it means giving up several positions.

Plz look to exclude AOK. I implore you to go back and watch the video and focus on what happens just before you're lag/punt hit.

AOK is a total mess out there, I was pushed around by him on Deep Forest numerous times. I'd say give him one more night to show he can be clean, if he can't, exclude him.

Honestly, I think these video analysis after every night are a bit much. I think if we have multiple complaints from a few people about someone that's enough to give a warning, if it continues get rid of them.

Also, I think we should never run boost, it isn't conducive to clean racing at all.

High speed ring in the rain, i get bumped into the pits on the first lap, spend 6 laps getting back into the pack, get all the way to the front of the pack with 1 or 2 laps to go when RockinVs decides to pit maneuver me on the straight destroying my car.

NOT COOL.

I was behind you when that happened and...the tank slapper was kind of hilarious

But yeah that sucked. Last night was messy in general, there were a lot of people.

Having watched the videos, a lot of people are making passing attempts that are just plain dirty. Dive bombing into a corner is not a legitimate passing strategy. If you can do it without contact, then fine, go for it. As soon as you make contact, you have to give the position back.

Hey Chuyler, I understand you probably won't be on tonight, but mind setting up a theme for the rest of us to build cars by? I probably have nothing better to do!

ok im getting tired of this ****. on madrid i have messed up whit diabolicwyvern. i have never raced on the reverse course (before the race i have written it) and i was too long. i have tried to breack but it was too late. also i was in 14 position and the boost was not a help. but on deep forest i was hitted several times by the subaru wagon (see the replay on the first lap) i gained penalty for being hitted! the difference is that i dont say anything, im not i winer like sombody else here. there is people that breaks where there no need to breack, than blame me becouse im aggressive. on deep forest i was the fastest guy, even if my alfa is not as good as the impreza and the focus rs. but my race was totally ruined

Not my place, cause I'm not really part of this group. I've just driven in the room a couple of nights.

But... this is something that always bothers me. If you are behind someone, and they brake, the accident is your fault. If they brake too early, it doesn't matter. Never ever ever ever is it someone's fault for hitting the brakes.

If they brake too soon for the corner, then you have no excuse to lose to them. You wait for the next corner and take a wider line than you normally would. You let them brake, you pass on the outside, and you pull out of the corner and away.

If you rear end them, it is always your fault.

Well, if they brake on the straight with the intention of stuffing you, then yes, it is their fault. But no one is doing that.
