I can't be the only one who goes weak in the knees at the sight of this Citroen Xsara livery, which dominated the 2004 and 2005 WRC with Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena piloting the machine. Plain, but brilliant.

You're not, I have a little model of it and its a great livery 👍

I've always felt Guinness would make an excellent motorsport sponsor and create some spectacular liveries so it surprises me that I can find nothing more than Derek Daly's 1981 March 811.

A part of me wonders how alcohol sponsorship didn't become as big as tobacco sponsorship.

I'd imagine that back in the sponsorship glory years, the 70s' and 80s', beer wasn't as globalised as it is now. The aforementioned Guinness, perhaps an exception.

How fitting, today being St. Patrick's day and all.

The reveal livery had that weird 90s blue flames thing going on, now it's just black with sponsors.

With me being a NASCAR fan, here are some of my all time favorites.

NASCAR liveries worked so much better when they were blocks of bold/primary colours against a contrasting colour. Not fussy, instantly recognisable.

Couple of my favourite Touring cars:

eBay Motors BMW '14
Along with the Hondas, easily the nicest livery in the BTCC last year.

Alfa Romeo 156 GTA '03

..And I haven't seen too many bikes in here, so I thought I'd add a couple:

Honda RC211V '06
...Or indeed any Repsol Honda from the past 20 years. Around the time Nicky Hayden won his title they were at their best in my opinion.

Yamaha M1, Laguna Seca '05
Harking back to the old Yamaha USA team colours. Quite possibly my favourite motorsport livery ever, just stunning.
