This event is a "No tuning allowed" event, right?

Also, the OP says "Grid: Slowest first" wouldn't that makes everyone sandbag their qualifying lap?

As third Reign has said there is the possibility people can "sandbag" but as yet no one has.

I'm opening the room in the community section to see how it goes. If there are issues we may resort to moving to a traditional lounge. I hope to have it up and running in a few minutes

:EDIT: Room open

Can I sign up?
Certainly. Clicking the "Apricot Hill Reverse" on your Internet enabled device "should" take you to the event.
If that doesn't work, The club ID number is, 1025152.
And if all else fails send a friend request to GC255. Though it is less necessary since the advent of the community features.

And just another PSA, please don't bring your fastest 500pp car. Constantly seeing a evora/NSX/Shelby gets old quickly and pushes others to use their fast cars.

My taming project of the BTR '86 is coming along slowly, but will not be ready for this race. I'll opt for a Z4 M coupe this time around (unless its 2s off the usual pace of my equally skilled opponents).

As far as I know the ktm is probably the only banned car, although I'm sure gc will inform us of any others. As for the car you use, we try and change cars so we don't run the same car but it isn't needed if you want to run the car you're comfortable in.

is there a list of forbidden cars somewhere?
I guess that the FD I used back in Monza is now ineligible, right?
It's only forbidden if you won the last race with it. We've had a few races since Monza and it was the start of a new cycle with Tokyo. So it's pretty much fair game on any road car.

Question for you all.
How many, if at all, cars that are 500pp club eligible have stock downforce?

I've found the Nissan Skyline GT-R (I forget the specific model) does. So that's one.

Well actually that was my point, the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R type A (FD) I used at Monza has a built-in adjustable rear spoiler. I removed it though...

Interesting. Does anyone know if it provides an advantage? Seeing as I've only just become aware there are cars like this with downforce.

Having front downforce is an advantage, i think. I haven't found any road cars that have front downforce as standard (yet), but quite a few with rear DF as stock. If it doesn't have front DF, the rear wing gets turned to 0 pretty quickly and certainly with ff, i think it is cosmetic.
