No problem my friend. Thanks a lot for your test and comments. Thanks again my friend

try to make it more stable. A stable tune is the beginning. Then you can go for a more unstable tune to set good times. But i think a good stable tune is the best beginning. No top times but learning the track and gears. That's my opnion.

So I'm looking at the leaderboard on the Gran Turismo website, and I see Hans is using comfort hards on the front of his TS030?

Is that faster?

Active steering strong and comfort hards and a car that has to be worn out to even sandbag its way into the 500pp event?

Wow, that takes even more away from it for me.

I haven't done this one in almost a week, since everyone started wearing out a TS030 to compete.

I must be in the minority that thinks it's ridiculous.

It says that you are using sports hard tires, so I assume the rankings are glitched for some people.
Ok yeah it's glitched. I just checked P1's replay and he is in fact using racing hards all around.

Edit: 1:21.527 in the S2000. The lap was epic until I got to the corkscrew, and then lost .25 from there until the end of the lap. :ouch:

Also I'm .001 behind @TRL_Snow

Just watched 3 V8Supercar drivers spin on a damp 75 kph corner, their tyre marks are in exactly the same spot, makes me feel a little better. But Kossie you are the same to me as the aliens, I battle like 🤬 to get to 23 and you do it easily.

My best was 1.22,0xx in s2k, props for the 21.5!!!!

So i am reassured ;)

LMFAO!!! Look the 2nd, make sure he's not using abs or active steering... ( btw, i tried with active steering, i cant make anything, i need a specific tune for that i guess )

I'm the only one in top 5 with low millage.... i'm at 18 000 and all others guys 36 000, 32 000...

Omg, its sure i'm on the edge.... i need grinding again

Who's still driving with the s2000?
I am (but unfortunately I have not much time to grind)! - 3 tenths down to 1:23,241 but I can clearly see the 'Club 22'...
I wonder how much Toyotas are still grinding to crash the rankings... by the way: I could never do 'something ridiculous' like that to my beloved and aged PS3... ;)

i drove the S2k before using the T030

I was in 22.0xx before rank a better time in the toyota.

@mike_gt3 posted a pretty nice tune couples days ago in this tread, he is in 21.7 and we think 21.5 can be reach with the perfect lap

Thank you very much, I will try this! My skills with my DS3 and AT gears are not the best so I usually need a more stable (& slower) car than the top drivers - and then I still have to find the near-perfect lap - not so easy but still much fun...

Update: I found your own tune you posted here, tried it first and with a few adjustments to fit my style and skills it is the next improvement to my old tune (with gearbox and inspiration originally based on @wedjim's tune). đź‘Ť

After a few laps I improved a tenth to 1:23,159 - but I can drive a few turns faster, was just a little bit too aggressive at corkscrew and finally missed the '22 once more... 🤬

Will try @mike_gt3's tune later. Really love the process of tuning and testdriving... it's clearly not only the result that matters!

Update 2: Thanks @o0Maxx0o for your hint! Tried the tune and it seems to help me - just need to find some time now to attack my record...

1:22.044 in the S2000 i can probably get it in the 1:21s but not sure if ill chase the last tenths. :)

Sorry i dont remember all the tune, but heres some data

ride height 120/90
lowest spring rate front/rear
damper 1/5
10/7
5/5 anti roll
0.0/0.0
0.0/-0.3
BB 5/5 ABS1

diff: 5/12/5

NO chassis reinforcement, NO oil change

Gearing trick(sorry i dont have the exact gear at the moment... but i can give them tomorrow if needed)

@mike_gt3
Great tune! Really fast and great handling. Great to feel how fast you can be when you're able to controll it at the limit!

But unfortunately I'm not that smooth with the throttle so I had to detune the LSD a little bit and did a few minor changes to restore the great balance to be very fast for my standard. I tweaked the gearbox by myself (not bad but I feel it could be better).

So, indeed, if possible: I would be interested in your gearbox, mate! :)

Now go for the 23! đź‘Ť
It doesn't matter what you drive for: Gold, 23, 22 or 18... the fight, pressure and fun are the same - so keep grinding!!! :P

 buddy.

Yes, a 23 would be great but will need to see how it goes as I think I'm getting close to the limit of my capabilities.

It is a lot of fun but I reckon you may of missed mentioning it being mixed with a sprinkle of frustration :)

 đź‘Ť

Oh yeah, you're so right, it's always up and down and sometimes it can be heart- and mindbreaking... But: no pain, no gain - no challenge, no fun! :dunce:

I'm sure you can find something to improve your car or line to finally crack the 23!
Only a week ago It felt exactly the same for me when I was ranked at '24,1xxx and was hoping for the 23-lap. Now, only a few drives later, I'm driving to reach the 22...
Try @mike_gt3's tune (unbelievable fast but not so easy to drive, perhaps detune a bit) or the one from @o0Maxx0o (more stable but still very fast). I found those very helpful.
What was your highest ranking so far?

no oil changed and no body rigidity can help a lot on the s2k guys!

edit: I decided to leave pride aside and use the abs.
God will forgive me ....
Watch out @HansDampf i'm comming for you

edit 2:1m20,3xx with ABS on
I have to retune all the car because ****** tune with abs to 1...

edit 3: After about 50 laps, and a lot of work, i hit the 1 20,1xx
i'm so rusty with abs 1, car react totally different, i have to learn how to drive again

edit 4: I did 1 19,938.... so boring, 1.19,995 to .938... i'm pissed off
