Trying to break 1:20 with an R32. Proving to be a little harder then expected, close, but not close enough. The sports hard tires are not fun at all on this track.

I think last time I checked I was just outside the 1000th mark in the leaderboards.

the TT at Willow springs im not ever going to attempt. i cant stand the track. Drifting one with race cars is BS (drifting with racing tyres?) best i can get with my Nismo GT-R GT3 is 4952 and im drifting th hell out of the thing but the drifting with normal cars is ok but its a sod getting gold, best ive got with a stock sls is 3,600 which is silver and its the only German car i own thats RWD lol

1:15.483 for an early first place at Willow with the Nissan Concept.

Question, am I supposed to be hitting a button or doing something with that arrow thing on the left? Never used this car before.

EDIT, 1:15.141
Great lap, as always...
Where did you put the weight? I tried a 50:50 weight distribution of the car, but I'm not sure...

Thank you :)

I didn't add any weight, just changed tires and dropped the power. I didn't notice that the brake balance could be changed until I was finished but, I would guess there is some helpful adjustment there.

The WRX STI spec C type RA is definitely a great choice, such a great car, did a 1:20.2 with no problems.

That looks like a good tune, similar to mine, but i still use the stock lsd.
I was afraid of modifying it too much, so I just bought the custom one and left it. The car is damn near perfect right out of the dealer anyway, just needs some slight mods.

But thanks for the compliment :). My first 4WD tune.

Ahhh ok, then I will try without weight also. I changed BB to 4:6, but I don't know if that helped or made it worse...:-)

@SVPSkins : Where did you see you need to equip Racing Tyres? I used CS :)

I will attempt to break down that post

Point 1, Skins hates Willow track
Point 2, is trying to drift in the race car drift TT with racing tires
Point 3, RWD TT is ok but gold is proving difficult

Hope this helps :D

A new special challenge has been added to the OP:

erazer's seasonal event challenge special:

In this special challenge, each week I will choose one car to use, where gold is possible, but not easy. It'll require skill and determinaton, and are aimed at players who do not fancy competing for the top spots on the leaderboard, but want a good, tough challenge!

This weeks car is:
Lancia DELTA HF Integrale Evoluzione '91

Everything is allowed to fit to the car, including all power upgrades and setup adjustments are unlimited. The only thing that is not allowed is hybriding/cheating of any sort.

Yeah it depends of what you are looking for, i love the feel of the factory lsd, it gives you just the right amount of oversteer combined with 25:75 of torque distribution. Try that with your tune and see if it's any better.

My personal oppinion, i like to set the braking sensitivity of the lsd a bit lower, especially on the front, less understeer at entry.

Keep it going.

No weight gained me almost a second. Damn! I'm the worst tuner EVER!!!!! One little option and even that I ruin!
