Try some 550pp tunes for the McLaren 12C, David. That car isn't as fast as the NSX LM but much easier to drive.

Trust the car to hang on.
If you're using square/X or an AT turn on TC3 that will keep that tail in check.

I know you do not like the Honda, but with my changes I managed to go under 1'13 " .1'12'782 exactly . I also do not like it too much but you should try . I tested the McLaren MP4-12C but I only managed to 1'14'xxx '

I've tried everything but the NSX and McLaren so far and I still can't get gold, so I'm gonna try at least one of those two and report back.

I just found Mr. P's NSX tune that he made for this time trial and squeaked out an 11.3 in a couple of laps and even messed up a couple of 11.1s on the last sharp left hander.

It comes with full down force and and zero ballast so you've got something to play with plus with this one, you can really mash the throttle and attack the kerbs. In fact, you can take diabolical liberties with your line and still get away with it. It's nuts.

You probably just need to perfect your control inputs and find a finer, and more feathered confidence with the cars. 👍

Probably, especially since this is the first few times I've been on Midfield in about a year.

If you go to the tuner's page and hit Ctrl-F (find), and type the basics only in the window at the top, it'll pull them all up. Beats looking through the links for sure. I used Praiano's tune first for this car, but it was a bit loose in the rear for my abilities with the DS3.

Finally got Gold. Tried the three 550PP tunes I got for the Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car. Each try going for about 6-7 laps to take the best time overall.
First up was the very Paiano tune – Got 1:16.327 for Silver but yet no cigar for Gold.
Second up was Jeje's tune – Got 1:16.474 for Silver but yet still no cigar for Gold.
Third up was Fordlaser's tune – And then... Got the 1:15.677 for the very Gold.

Whewww!!!!....So glad now to finally get Gold. Not quite the 1:11s and 1:10s you superior racers are getting but it will do.
Now I am going to have a well deserved celebration drink and smoke.
Thanks a lot guys. I owe you one.

Oh yeah. I am now ranked 14,167th in the world ranking. Whoopty doo. *does the happy dance*

I'm all in with this time. Interestingly enough, I watched the top 5 times after I did this one to see just what they were doing differently, and I think all of them use the curbs and grass. I barely touched 1 curb during my run, and didn't touch the grass at all, didn't even think to try. It's also weird how many DS3 users are in the top 20.

Speaking of curbs, in my usual balls to the wall, set the quick time or get the gold mindset I usually touch most of the curbs in some way in a lap. And the cars not always parallel to the curb either.

All too easy in the stage 3 lightweight power reduced MP4-12C.

Not big power but such a stable aero package. Also plenty of gears.
