580PP La Festa Cavallino

Like this seaonal. Struggles at first with Madrid in my F40, played with suspension and won it on 2nd go. Now struggling on Toscana. Every time i break in my F40 on this track rear end keeps coming out on me. Go try the SP1 later.

Am I missing something on this? Downforce is listed but no aero has been added. Are the wheels different? As usual, none of the gear ratios match up at all, the numbers aren't even in the range shown. I got within 7 seconds of the rabbits at the Ring as is but I think the car needs more jump. Thanks!

i did place a wing on it yes and the tires were sports soft ;)

the gears can be annoyin to set i know but tranny trick works aswell most of the time ;)

Well that was mad, I've been having trouble with the Ring GP/D for what feels like an age. I completed all the others in an F40, which was a fun challenge, but just couldn't get past the two Enzos, I tried the usual suspects at first, the 430scud, 599, Cali '08 & Enzo, with no luck. Now, I've never used the SP1 before, so there she was '0' miles & no tune. So with a bit of fooling around with her bits I got her up to 630BHP & 1335Kg with 580pp & amazingly, first time out won by 5secs. Fantastic little motor the SP1.

it shouldnt be that hard? i tried it with the f40 at first but felt it was too slow anf the handling isnt all that (i need to good set up for this car, its my most loved ferrari of all timw, along with the 512bb, but that one drives even worse).

i had a standard 599, did the cheapest tunes and the ones that didnt add pp. also i started off with getting all the weight off for better handling. it was actually prerry easy this way, try it. its imo the one with the least amount of trouble cause you only tune but dont actually change vallues with the tuning. you just buy stuff.

also i havent even tried it with a standard 599, maybe thats easy as well? dont really know. as soon as i saw that weight, i just had to trim it down.

Got them all finally, the last two with your tune. I didn't to the tranny thing anyway, just raised the final drive which does the same thing, I think. For Madrid I had it up to 5.404 with a top (top) speed of 161. Needle was just hopping a bit at the end of the second long straight. Lap times to win at Madrid should be 1:28 or so, from what I saw. Nabbed the leader on the end of the 4th lap. Madrid is nice because you can't cheat anywhere on it although there is always some contact. Nice seasonal, for me anyway. Thanks again.

This Ferrari event was by far my most favorite seasonal!! 👍

I bought myself an Enzo and when i came at the first race i thought:
"Doesn't matter if they're about 30 seconds ahead,i'm gonna show them my skills":mischievous:

Turns out the positive thinking helped a lot here! ^^

I used a non-horsepower tuned Enzo then limited it a tiny bit to 627-628PP,and it was a rave of awesomeness,as i dominated everything, when i was ready for the worst,as i thought it was gonna be as impossible as the Lambo seasonal.:D

The setup i used was impressively nothing else than the pure default, after i equipped all the handling and transmission upgrades, alongside with the Sports:Soft tires:lol:

But yeah. for easy go-ers like me,the Enzo is gonna be awesome in this event, although i'd love to go a little more challenging,as i love to add a little difficulty to what i already completed.:sly:

So,yeah, what would be the second best production Ferrari to go with in this event?

Try the 458 italia or 599.

458 doesn't need to be tuned either, just put sports soft on it and ready to go!
Nice seasonal :)

Yeah, I found it really frustrating that the F40 I was using had no problems winning the others, it just wasn't suited to the Ring GP for me. But the one thing I was surprised with was just how good the SP1 was, even with a basic tune (suspension mainly) it made winning the Ring almost effortless.

Won all with a stock Enzo w/ballast SS tires. Used Abs1 cause I was impatient. All easy wins except for Nurb. Merry Christmas from PD:here's a 330 for your holiday driving pleasure. Now how about a seasonal just for the Big Three oldtimers.

I did 1:36:XX runs with this without much effort and beat enzos by 10+ sec ;)

this should get u on your way :)

Ok, so I'm using this car with this tune, but I just can't get it!

I've followed all of it, except the gearbox (Changed for this particular track)

Cape Ring I completed on my second attempt. Beating the 2nd position by about 3 seconds. Now on Madrid City I'm getting my ass kicked. The 2 Enzos in it are flying ahead of me. By the end of the 1st lap they're 15 seconds ahead, by the end of the first, I can get them 8 seconds ahead. On a couple of rare occaisions I came second and first was only 4 seconds ahead. Can anybody lend some assistance? I've spent the past 2 hours on this single track. I was doing it in manual to have more control over the speed around the corners, then tried out auto and it wasn't much different. Using Sports soft tyres. The only other thing I changed from the above tune was the front camber to 1.4 instead of 2.5.

I'll appreciate any assistance/advice for this track.

Cheers

Used a DMC tuned Ferrari 458!

Detuned it to 520pp, won 1.6million @ 170% login on Toscane.
Still had 10 seconds lead on the Enzo's.

Will try again with a lower pp another day!

Cheers

I'm using the same Enzo tuning from way back when we could grind on La Sarthe. Toscana was great for sliding around, even with ABS off you can abuse the brakes and still catch it with all the road camber :) I only wish PD would start including weather/time change in the Seasonals and let us adjust it so we can replay these events in all their variations.

That's the thing that's bothering me 2 with the seasonals.
you can make the seasonals harder by lowering the pp but variable weather would be a great thing to make it harder without reducing pp :)

Wow, you are simply amazing. I marvel at your driving skills and wish I was at least half as good as you. Me, being a less than average driver myself, am having much trouble with this track. I was wondering if you could post a video of this amazing run so that I could see how such a greatly talented driver such as yourself goes about attacking this track. Maybe I could learn from your top-notch driving. Look forward to seeing the video.

A little sarcasm? But yeah,I'd like to see the video as well.

Just used the tune Motor City Hami put up. I won the Forest track, and the toscana track (Which was so fun I did it 6 times :D) First try off the bat I won toscana, and I gotta say, the car handled fantastically. Each time I won by a 13+ second margin. Only thing I changed was the top gear to suit the track. (Had to lower to increase top speed for home stretch.

Only problem I'm having is with nurburb and madrid. I just can't get it fast enough to match the Enzos speed, but will keep working on it :)

I'd say it'd be possible.....

Just used the 430 scurderia taken down to 550pp/500hp. Overtook the enzo on the 4th lap, by the end of the 5th I was 5 seconds in the lead. And honestly I'm a crap driver. I mean understeering corners constantly, putting me into the wall/dirt/other cars etc So if I could manage it on 550pp with 500hp, chances are a more skilled driver could do it on 520pp

BTW, that was on Toscana. With the 150% login bonus,
I got a little over 1mil :)

Hi Mr. Cargorat,

Yeah I know our skills are too big to overcome and yes, maybe one day you will be as half as good as I am.
For the video, can you upload your replay (Youtube please) so we can see what you are doing wrong?
Must be something simple as I didn't think it was a tough race.

But lets talk bit later since I got to go work now, you never know when my PS3 dies. I'm not gonna bother my kid for a new PS3 :D :D

Now see, there you go again with your immaturity. The part of your post that I have bolded I know is in response to a post I made in the WRS TT forums regarding my PS3 dying and my daughter buying me a new one. Since you feel the need to bring it up in another one of your attempts to take a cheap shot at me, we'll talk about it. In that post, I said this, " My daughter went out and bought me a new PS3 because she seen how bummed I was at not being able to compete with a reliable PS3." Now, at no time did I ask her or even hint to her to buy me a new one. Didn't bother her at all, as you say. She just seen my fustrations and decided to get me an early Christmas present, all on her own. So again, you twist my posts around in order to suit you so you may take yet another one of your cheap, immature shots at me. Furthermore, since you are not a WRS member, I have no idea what you were doing in that thread in the first place except for the sole purpose to stalk my posts.

Now, lets get to the matter at hand. In my reply to your post, I was being most genuine with no sacasm meant, as suggested by another poster. I was serious when I said that I wanted to see your replay to see what exactly I was doing wrong. For you to be able to pull that run off, you are a top notch driver of whom maybe I could learn a few things from. I was very sincere in my reply to you but yet you respond, yet again, with more of your immaturity and attempted flaming. Maybe next time read what I actually post instead of switching it around to suit your own needs. The world will be a much better place for you if you stop holding grudges. I've forgotten about the past, maybe you should too. Happy Holidays.
