600PP - Lap Times - Suzuka & Fuji + WORLD EVENT TT

I lowered my Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe time to
Suzuka 2.19.390 Still using NLxAROSA's Dutch tuning setup

My exact NSX time was 2.16.936

I am still trying for that time of yours timppaq! got down to 2´17´273--ferrari f430
cant remember the hole tune, I writes down what I remember:)

power: (as low as it goes) --600pp--
weight: (as low as it goes) --600pp--
ride height: 0/-2
spring rate: 5/6
damper: 5/8
toe: + 1.18/-1.14
camber: 2.2/1.0
brakes: 1/4
steering angle: 40
no aids exept abs

Still more to come as I lost 0.2 in the 3rd sector. A 2.15 might just be doable for me with the pad... would be easily in range with a wheel.

Only minor setting changes now ... improvements coming from better lines.


Edit, after some deliberation... don't want to give my detailed set-up away until the event change over on the 12th, but here are a couple of hints that I think make all the difference with the R8...

Ride height higher at the rear than front
Toe negative at the rear


It's all about reducing understeer with 4WD.

If it is the R8 then that's a really great time - a 2'15.9/2'15.8 is about where I thought my potential limit was. You using a wheel or pad?

Not sure I feel as motivated to try for a 2'15 now someone's beaten me to it :)

Yep exactly the reason I am going to continue racing online in the '05 versoin, handles and feels so much better.👍

Ty buddy :sly:, uploaded to vimeo and the site is now converting the video. Dont expect really nice quality because I need a capture card :(. I tried to zoom in on sony vegas so you could see the lap time better, but its too fiddly so I gave up.:dunce:

A low 2'15 would be easy in the F430 with a tow as they get in the actual races, without drafting I don't think the F430 or the NSX are that much faster than the R8.

GT-R35 no doubt. It's easy to control with the right tune, it's fast and plus I can take F430s easily if I don't make a mistake.

I did some fine tuning of the gearing and added a little camber to my old set up and was able to pull off a near perfect lap in my opinion. i think i lost .1xx at degner curve, another .1xx at spoon and another .1xx at casio so there is room to improve. :crazy:

That's a sweet lap.

My 2'16.3 setup is quite different ... eg;

ride -20 -10
toe -0.07 -0.25
camber 1.4 1.4

You have some great apex speeds, particularly degner at c.99... I'm only hitting 92.

Hey Angelx, is it ok for me to try that R8 tune of yours? I wanna compare with the one I have and to see how off I am. I've got 2'17s but yours 2'15s is quite impressive!
 
go ahead, i posted it for a reason so others could give it a try. Many have told me it doesnt suit their driving style, but let me know what you think.

I'm satisfied with the handling of the car and the lap time, I used angelx's setup and tweaked it a bit.

What I did was put the rear camber on his setup to 0. Maybe you should try that, it helps take away alot of the understeer in your setup.
