Kristiansen is second and is currently the only Audi in contention for a win. And Peugeot only has three cars in the top five: 1st, 3rd and 4th

And I take it with Aston in 5th & 6th/7th with the second Audi somewhere nearby.


I'm actually kind of surprised the R10s aren't doing better. From what I've heard, the 908s aren't that different from last year, unless Audi had some sort of secret formula for the R10 that made it different from the ones given to privateers.

Come on Pescarolo. I have to agree, the Audi seems two seconds down on the Pug's, which is quite a lot even on a track this size.

The driver did NOT push the car on purpose, the risk of damaging his own car is far too high and pushing a out-of-his-class car off the track would be nonesense. The driver couldnt see the car, used the whole track to drive round the corner and hit someone. Careless? Yes, but not on purpose.

The 908's are about 3-4 seconds faster than the Audis per lap! Due to massive understeer problems! I am not impressed about the new Audi.

I wrote that it looked like he did that on propose, not that he actually did - before the other car went off track Aston Martin driver made a move to left side -probably he was trying to "escape" from something and unfortunately for 3rd car he touched it.

Nice fight over 2nd place (about 30min ago).

A lot. They weren't a lap back, it now means they are one back... And with the Peugeot lapping 2-3 seconds a lap faster (and more when "on it"), the chances are slim.

Not now... Audi is now two laps down, with another Pug between them - so they'll have to get at least one lap back even if the lead Peugeot fails; seeing as the sandwiched #8 car is the fastest one, and runs 3'28s at the moment against the R15's 3'33s, I doubt it can regain a whole lap that easily.

It'll take something happening to the Peugeot, but with 12 hours left, you can't rule that out. I guess the Audi has plenty of chances to break down too.

They've done running in Practice which was rained out, but so did Peugeot. Peugeot used the six hours to run a non-stop race simulation...

Sebastian Bourdais ran a 3:26 and Audi is driving around at 3:33, there is quiet a speed difference here!

#7 Peugeot in PIT got down from 7th to 12th position, only hope for 1-2-3 Peugeot in #17

The #8 has the fastest drivers, the #9 the slowest. The #7 is just cursed, still battling damage from the collision with the PescaPug.

Currently, with Gene, Bourdais and Dindo, it's pretty much the trio of the slowest drivers on the track.
