Indeed, i'd just like to echo what James has said. People should try to let us know in advance if they can or can't make it to a race. It's hugely annoying when it has to be postponed at the 11th hour, but there you go.
No real choice but to postpone tonight's race till next week.

Was more of a general comment Shark, don't worry.
I enjoyed the practice race. Had some good battles with Dark and Baumi. Dark was a class above the rest however. The only reason I was able to be ahead of you was because I started on the hards allowing me to jump you in the pits. Hope I was defending fairly
I ended up staying out on the hards until lap 22 as I was waiting for the track to get wet before I pitted. Luckily it did get treacherous so I switched from my hards to wets, allowing me to only make one pit stop throughout the entire race. Unfortunately during the last few laps on the hards my steering wheel came lose from my table and I went into the gravel 4! I had to stop to reattach it. This lost me a lot of time. Unfortunate because I think I would have been closer to Dark after he made his second pit stop of the race (for wets). As it stood I was 17 seconds behind after his stop and stood no chance of getting a cheeky win.
Deserved win for Dark however, amazing pace. He'll give you a run Shaggy!
I'm glad we had this practice, I managed to get a grip of the track. I think I can be quicker next wkend.

There isn't any minimum number set as such. I think having a set minimum number is perhaps a bit restrictive. Last time I didn't count the race in Melbourne was because people got disconnected so I felt it wasn't fair to count the results. This time it just felt pointless doing the race tonight when we should have more people available next week. DonkeyFuzz should finally be able to attend next week so we're already one man up, and I hope Shark and NumbPhase can make it next week also. Hopefully by then we'll have one or two more committed members to join us. So frustrating though that we should already be 4 rounds in but we're still stuck at two.

Also just wanted to ask does anyone have any issue if the race was held at 21:00 next week? I'm sorry to keep asking to juggle the times round but I'd like to know just so that I have some options because I may not be available any earlier than that (brother's wedding aftermath etc.). For the time being I'll keep the time at 20:00 UK time next week though.

Thank you. I did not know what is happening and why there is no race. I have not read the forum. I received an invitation and drove GP. Dry Start and the probability of rain resulted in a strategy with a long first stint on the hard tires and waiting for the rain to the change in the Wet. Brought good results and finished on the podium. It is unfortunate that at the beginning of a full lobby at the end of the race we were 4-5: ( A pity that so many people give up. It is sad. I though I'm not the fastest, and so I have great pleasure to participate in our league. If I do not bother you at the track, then I'll gladly continue competition.

it was absolutely fair and clean defending from your side,i was really impressed and it i felt like in real formula 1! You know to be faster is one thing but to overtake isnt easy in f1 in these days. I love this game, its a real nice sim!!

Man i'm gutted I left now....but a quick qualifying report from my perspective:
It started out wet with the only tyre choice being intermediates, I set my first lap and 2was about 3-4 secs off the pace and my provisional position was 8th. The rain eased and as I went out for my second run the rain stopped, I came in on my first flying lap for Prime tyres with 2 mins and 15 secs of the session left. I went out and flew round the circuit on my outlap and crossed the line to start my lap with 15 secs left of the session. I didn't push to hard as I didn't want to ruin the lap...It was a faultless lap (one of the best I have done in the conditions) and as I crossed the line and was about 1-2 secs off the pace and I finished the session in 5th place. I was the only driver to set a time on dry tyres and it proved to be an inspired decision. I was extremely happy with my position, I just wish that I didn't get tagged into the first corner which ultimately ruined my race.

Na, pretty sure Dark and Baumi qualified in dries too as they were in the low 1:50's by the end of quali. I missed the boat on a flying dry lap by about 3 seconds. You did well to get a lap on the dries though!
That could have been a very costly mistake had that been a championship race.
