It's a 40% race, Tom and I were quite gentlemenly, waiting for the other to catch up when mistakes were made. Kept us together and allowed for some good, pick the right moment, moments

Hey guys, glad to see people have kept up their interest in the competition while the PSN has been down. I'll be back on Wednesday night so we shall have our race on this sunday (funny how it always seems to end up coinciding with the real life GP by accident).

Thanks goes to James (Mutu20) for organising things in my absence. He had surgery on his ear on friday after a jujitsu accident so he probably appreciates the break

Sorry you didn't get any racing in my absence Ardius. However I haven't heard a peep from Manios in an age so if you're online on sunday and Manios doesn't make it then you can consider his race seat yours if you like?

Has to be said though Tom, you must have read your time wrong or something because plainly you didn't do a 1:20.7 with fuel and tyre sim switched on judging by this video. Are you sure you weren't racing on the old layout missing the last chicane?

I've edited my Shanghai race report so that it now includes Dark's race footage. However the 3rd part vanished for some reason?

Looking forward to the racing on Sunday as always, should be a good race (nice long 33 lapper)

Not a problem, I've been practicing and I think I've got it set up for reasonable quality and file size. I'll be able to get the Qualifying and the Race, only problem is you'll be watching my driving for the full session

Haha, turns out that tyre sim wasn't on shame, I thought I had good pace for once 👎

Right around the times you were getting. I think the best I've done is a low 1:24. So I expect a high 1:25 come Sunday

I did actually do a little practice race with DarkPSI and pipeslice, so I didn't completely miss much.

Although truth is that we've yet to have a completely full house so the likelyhood is that you can just take whatever other car is available on the night 👍

I'll message Manios anyway, he seems to show up for most races despite never posting here but I believe he trashed his car in both of the last races and I have a feeling he's probably given up.

Annoyed I ended up spinning off into the gravel at Catalunya because that would have been a fantastic 3 way battle for the lead.

Montreal in the wet was amazing fun, I can't wait until our championship goes there. on the third from last lap I spun causing you to cannon into the back of me. I waited for you but you seemed to disappear after that. I got a win for us anyway

I'm working nightshift this week finishing saturday so 8pm is probably the latest I can start a race this week. I may be in a bar Friday night also.

Basically what I'm saying is Thursday suits.

I have been getting back into F1 online this week and man oh man have I had some epic battles in rooms with a respectful set of drivers.

What setup do you guys use for testing out lap times during the week prior to the race....just the GP mode race weekend with fuel and tires on I assume.

Yeah, I find practice the best session for getting quali laps in because there's less traffic. The traffic in real qualifying is shocking and really difficult to get clean laps in.

In an online race with Baumi I qualified with a 1:20.0xx, which is my fastest Catalunya lap I think. Seems like I had more in the tank too because turns 7-8-9 were really poor. If i get my finger out I reckon I can be 1:51.5's come raceday.

I'll probably be having a messy night on Sat night tho, so I doubt it

Can you confirm you did a 1.20.0 in qually with all assists off because if you did that is amazingly fast much quicker than i could ever do.

Tell me about it, I keep getting blocked by the AI whilst i'm on my hotlap and they're on their outlap and yet they never get penalties 👎

Was it a 1:22.0xx and you reckon you can do a 1:21.5 or something?
