Speed's saying how Toyota have been super secretive of their project...

Having worked for a company that makes plastics for Toyota, this doesn't surprise me in the least.

So the Toyota is behind 13 laps now. What is the prognosis guys?

And Audi had the same idea? Hmmmm...

I said it earlier, Eurosport coverage in Hd is stunning especially as the light drops.

The shots from the helicopter are something else.

Audi is proving that racing a Le Mans is a matter of much more than sheer speed. Toyota may have matched the pace and might have an amazing car, but the team doesn't look up to the challenge. Nakajima isn't ready for endurance racing, and the team still lacks the experience in the garages that makes Audi such a solid squad.

Why the hate on the DeltaWing? The car is revolutionary and just because they aren't competing with LMP1s doesn't mean it shouldn't be out there. If that was the case, 75% of the field wouldn't be out there...

Comments actually went a bit further, bordered on drawing unfavorable comparisons with Audi on the professionalism front. Apparently the Toyota peeps blew off appointments.

Forza has a license with LeMans I believe, it's why mostly all these cars in the real race are in Forza, and not GT.

Unfortunately it doesn't work the other way round between GT5 and the 24 hours of the Nürburgring. We got, what, a friggin' Skyline from that race?

Gather experience, with all the speculation surrounding their pace, you have to remember this is their first race with the TS030, so getting long distance data is invaluable for the team.

So Toyota crashing out means the Speed guys let loose with their distain? Professionalism? :P

Last year it didn't look all that solid tough..

Running 14 seconds slower while consuming half the fule and with half the power, without the downforce and less tyre wear? They've already proven a crapload of stuff, if you're asking me.
What's the point of running with no downforce? What kind of racing benefits can exactly bring this project?

Not even sure it will have something to do with road car technology. The tight shape can't be ported to everyday cars. What's next, a Nissan sidecar?

Too bad the only Eurosport coverage I can get is a rather poor quality live stream. I'm making do with the Justin.TV stream that Toro linked a few moments ago, as I have done for the past few hours.

Well, the hate is coming only from one guy who, apparently, is completely biased about the project and probably thinks Ken Block could win at Le Mans if he strapped an HKS fartcan on his Fiesta...

Sponsoring a race isn't the same as having the rights to the license of the race series.

Could you try reading a lot of our comments. You're asking questions that we happened to have already answered.

Is anyone listening on radiolemans?

Toyota updates. The Toyotas back!

Oh, another minor issue in the front. ****
